The cases are lined with every type of cookie you could imagine and they have a plethora of pastries to choose from. They have Italian staples like 7 layer cookies, sprinkle cookies and jelly sandwich cookies. With all the different types of cakes and cannoli's it's hard to pick a favorite. When you walk into the store it feels like you've stepped back in time. It always smells like there is something amazing baking in the back. Since I normally buy treats for just myself, I don't go for the bigger items, but their pies look really yummy too and I'm always curious to try one so maybe next time. I asked the waitress about it and she told me that it's a Turkish dish of tomatoes mixed with eggs, onions and peppers called Menemen. I asked for it and it was what I needed on a cold day. The combination was like an explosion of flavor that I needed to wake me up. It was also a lot for just $13.37. I ended up paying for everything with just a $20 bill including for a large cup of Turkish tea. I liked the food here so much that I plan on coming again another weekend for breakfast even if it is not close to my home but the long trip is worth it.

Banana pudding: 3.5 stars - It is frozen and we needed to wait for it to thaw out but once it did - it was so unusual as they use pieces of their vanilla spongecake with the pudding. You get a lot of vanilla flavor and perhaps not enough banana so when we got home, we cut up pieces of banana and added it in. I like a lot of creamy pudding though and the cake kinda soaked it up.
