Even if you have good credit score and money, it's still not easy to find a good place and have a reasonable realtor who can help you, there are so many details you need to know. I decided to give a try this company. First i got the call from Sam, he asked me what apartments i'm looking for and he sent me list with 5 places. They all were actually very good, I picked the one that was closest to my work and I scheduled showing. I met with Marvin and he was incredibly professional, honest and upfront. He answered to all my questions and showed me apartment, literally everything was clear and transparent for me. There was no weird feeling like with other agents I met recently and he was responding very fast to my messages. I applied in the evening and the next day in the morning i got the answer that I approved. It was very quick, specially when I didn't have much time left to find a new place, they just literally saved me! I wish I worked with them before in the beginning of the month, so I could save myself a lot of time and avoid so many problems with searching new places. Everything just went so smooth. Seriously-- heed the reviews…read more Omar was 20 minutes late to our apartment viewing before calling to say he couldn't make it-- he seemed apologetic and gave us the code to let us into the apartment, so I shrugged it off. As it turns out, this wasn't a one-off and he often cancels on his clients with no notice. After viewing, we were pressured into putting in a competitive offer above the listed price, plus a 15% broker fee (absurd, but we were unfamiliar with the renting landscape in NYC after the FARE Act went into effect). It took almost two weeks, and many, many calls, emails, and texts from both of us and our guarantors (we spent literally hours trying to get in touch with Omar), to finally be sent the application materials. ANOTHER week passed with no reply or acknowledgement before we gave up on the unit. The whole experience left us feeling frustrated and ignored. Do yourself a favor, avoid this group and any of their units. No matter how much you like the apartment, there will be another one-- without the headache.

Nothing to inform me that I was not able to move in that day because he was dishonest and it was in fact not ready at all. I was now living out of my suitcases and had to return to work and start over from scratch in looking for a new place. I contacted hagstrom about this and they assigned me a new agent to assist me with looking for a place ASAP. I worked with Dominic in looking for places under a time restraint. Dominic took me on and showed me several potential places. When it came to viewing them on short notice, his team member Daniel took me on very last minute and showed me the place. Both Dominic and Daniel made it happen for me! I have not moved in yet but I have signed a lease and met with my roommates. I am so appreciative and thankful of Dominic for being so patient with me and looking under time restraints. Kristen was resistant to providing me the lease language before coming into the office in person to sign the lease, but I'm glad I pushed to see the lease before I went in. The lease offered was dramatically different than what was advertised in the Street Easy ad. For example, the ad said the apartment was pet friendly, but the lease prohibited pets. I asked a friend who has experience in real estate to review the lease after I noticed these inconsistencies and he found 27 major concerns about the lease. When I asked for changes to the lease to match what was advertised her tone got even worse. Kristin claimed that we were the only people in the history of Sandra Greer real estate to ask for changes to a lease. Her whole approach made us very nervous. Ultimately, Kristin and the owner refused to make adjustments to the lease to match the advertisement, so we parted ways. The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because we got our full good faith deposit back. This was an emotionally exhausting 15 day ordeal that I would prefer to avoid in the future.
