The atmosphere was fantastic, our server struck the perfect balance between attentive and giving us space, and both cocktails I tried were creative and delicious. The truffle fries were pretty mediocre, but even that wouldn't have stopped me from giving Arbella five stars. What did? Discovering afterward that a 5% "service charge" had been added to the bill. I really dislike this growing practice of restaurants and bars adding percentage-based fees rather than simply pricing their menu accordingly, and it was enough to cost an otherwise excellent experience two stars. Ambiance: 5/5 Arbella absolutely nails the atmosphere. I came here on a date, and it was a great choice for that. The music was good, the lighting and decor created a really intimate vibe, and our booth was comfortable enough that we could settle in and actually enjoy the evening. There was energy in the room without it being so loud or overwhelming that we couldn't have a conversation. Even the menu design and presentation fit the experience. If you're looking for somewhere that feels elevated, interesting, and still comfortable for a date, Arbella definitely checks those boxes. Service: 5/5 Our server was fantastic. This was one of those rare occasions where someone found exactly the right balance between being attentive and not constantly interrupting our date. We never felt forgotten about, but we also had plenty of space to enjoy ourselves and talk. I especially appreciated the recommendations. Whenever we had a question or wanted guidance on what to order, our server was knowledgeable and genuinely helpful rather than simply pushing something on the menu. Excellent service from beginning to end. Drinks & Food: 4/5 The cocktails were easily the highlight. I tried the First You Take The Graham and the Trankilo Melon, and both were really good while also being different enough from what I would normally order to make the experience more memorable. This is exactly what I want from a cocktail bar: drinks that make me curious enough to try something new and then actually deliver. The truffle fries, however, were mid at best. They weren't terrible, but compared with how impressive everything else felt, they were forgettable. I'd absolutely come back for the cocktails, but I'd choose something different to eat next time. About That 5% Service Charge... This is unfortunately where Arbella lost me, and ultimately why I cannot give the experience five stars. I didn't notice until reviewing my bill afterward that a 5% service charge had been added. I strongly dislike this increasingly common practice of restaurants and bars adding percentage-based fees to the bill. If operating costs have increased, I would much rather an establishment incorporate those costs transparently into its menu prices so I know what I'm agreeing to pay when I order. Calling it a "service charge" also creates unnecessary confusion, particularly when customers are still expected to decide what to tip their server. At a cocktail-focused establishment, where you may be ordering multiple drinks throughout an evening rather than paying attention to every line of the check, I think fees like this need to be extremely clear and prominent before ordering, not something a customer discovers afterward. For me, it feels like an extra charge for simply using the establishment in exactly the way it was intended to be used. Overall: 4/5 The frustrating part is that without the service charge, this probably would have been a five-star review. Arbella gave us a genuinely great date night: beautiful atmosphere, excellent service, creative cocktails, and a space I otherwise would have happily recommended and returned to. Instead, that 5% fee left a sour final impression on what had been an excellent evening. It may seem small, but transparency around pricing matters to me. Arbella did so much right that I want to come back, but the service charge is significant enough that I would think twice before doing so.

The flat noodles was very flavorful with just enough protein and some veggies and generous portions. We also ordered the crab fried rice and one of the rare times we did not have to hunt for the crab pieces! Saw another guest having their wonton and shrimp soup so we decided to try that as well. One of the best soups we've had (and we've eaten in a lot of Asian restaurants)! Very tasty, clear broth, not oily but fragrant with the added cilantro. The wonton itself was delicious as well and medium sized shrimp in the soup. Service was great, contrary to what others may have experienced. The price was very reasonable with huge portions. Wow, where do I start? Last year was obviously the year of expansion and tribulations. My Friend and I stopped here maybe 12 times in 2016. On the 5th time we were faced with a pretty icky situation. We booked a movie for 7p.m. we decided to sit down for dinner at 5p.m. This particular food isn't that time consuming. Upon receiving our orders we realized that we both asked for no beef. We got just that. We didn't complain as it waz about 5:40 we still has drinks coming out we were fine. We then realized out waiter hadn't stopped by our table for the roti bread or drink refills. We just assumed she was new and everything would work out fine. At 6:15 we were over it. Ready to go. But not without the breads we had been promised over 25 mins ago. We paid our check left a tip. And headed to the front where we stood in awe at all the bread sitting on the grill.. This beautiful older women walks past and asks "hey you all. Hope di ner was alright. Would you all like a couple pieces of the bread?" we were at this time very very excited. I offered this woman a $10 tip anx she very politely turned me away, until I insisted. It was like, bro this is what we came here for. This very ending is exactly what customer service is all about. Thank you so much thank you. Is how we ended our night. As we left i couldn't help but give the location a phone call. About the great service and the bad service. Not to mention we wrre30 mins late to our movie. But no matter during the phone call we were informed that that awsome young lady was the manager and she handled our situation with so much grace and poise that we ruturned at least 8 more times before 2016 ended.. Awesome job Wabash team!!!!!!!!!! I recommend this particular place and location to everyone I know!!!!!!!!!! Thank you.. -Amatziah Snipes read more

My review is for this particular location, not Flat Top as an entire establishment. Of course most people know that Flat Top is great, reasonably priced and has really good food. My server was the only person working, so it seemed, and I needed to check out for about 10-15 minutes but I did not see him. I tried to give him benefit of the doubt because if it was that he was the only person left on the floor, then I know that can be rough when it starts to get busy. Once he came to our table, I said I was ready to pay and as I was proceeding to tell him that I am a student he was like power walking away. Once he came back with the bill I had my student i.d. out and my credit card in hand, and explained that I needed my student discount. He rolled his eyes didn't take my credit card and walked away. When he came back he said "make sure you tell me next time that you are a student before I get your bill". I've been in the service industry so I understand that there may be this notion that students may not tip well, but the bottom line is that I was in the industry and know how to reward good service. I honestly felt like my server presumed that I wasn't going to tip well so he didn't feel a need to try to provide good service. He was so rude that I don't think that I will ever be back during lunch time and for anyone who does decide to come for lunch make sure it is around noon because once the busier lunch crowd dies down service begins to diminish. read more

First I will never step foot in this place again! The manager on duty Magda was extremely rude to our table when we had an issue and I honestly think she is socially retarded! I am not usually mean but don't you need to have some sort of training to deal with people! She came to our table and blatantly said "whats your problem"! I mean really! There are 6 of us at the table looking at each other like should we all throw our bread in her face! Then I took the initiative to call the General Manager to let him know what happened. His name was David. OH MY GOD! Talk about a social retard! The guy talks like Ben Stein and i swear everything I said to him his response was like he was reading it out of a manual. The guy was a speed bump for sure! If this is the caliber of managers this company hires, I wonder what the upper management is like. As far as the food goes, it was better when the meats weren't marinated in soy. It was better when the meat looked red and not brown and old. And it was better when they had the horny Monkey on the menu. I will never go back. As far as the two managers there! PLEASE GET MAGDA SOME SOCIAL SKILLS AND GET DAVID A PERSONALITY! I went here on a busy Friday lunch a couple weeks ago and it was such a fun experience! I was a little overwhelmed by the entire process, but our waitress Silvia was so helpful! She helped us understand everything and even met us at the line to help us pick out the right sauce combination. I got approached by several people asking if we needed help which shows how attentive and helpful the entire staff was. We got back to our seats and our drinks and were waiting for us and we waited what seemed to be no more than 10-15 min before our food arrived. It was so freakin delicious! Our waitress stopped by a few times to make sure we were good, even cracked a few jokes and had the entire table laughing. We opted out of the dessert, but will be back to try this chocolate brownie with ice cream that passed our table as we were getting ready to leave! Great place, great staff, will definitely be back! read more

Not the greatest restaurant in the world but it is cheap and cheerful and good value for money. You select your own food and get it cooked freshly on the flat top. Seven people, $700 all in, and so much regret. Service: 3/5 I'll start with the positive: the customer service was overall pretty good. It was raining hard, so after walking a few miles and exhausting other indoor options, we popped in 30 minutes early to see if they could seat us. They could, and they got us in quickly. So far, so good. I'm only giving this three stars because, at the start of our meal, servers poured out of the kitchen all at once. Normally, that would be great--better to be overwhelmed with food than wondering where it is--but the situation resembled chaos more than efficiency. They were in and out so quickly that I barely knew what I was being served. That said, I'll give them credit where it's due: they checked on us several times and kept our drinks full and the table stocked with bread. Food: 1/5 It was just bad. No amount of good service can make up for bad food. The salad bar was "meh." A decent assortment of options, but nothing to write home about. The meat--which is the whole point of the experience--was honestly terrible. It had no flavor, none. Somehow, even the fattier cuts were bland; I wondered if they forgot to season them entirely. It didn't help that almost every piece of meat we received, regardless of what we requested, was well-done and bone-dry. I tried so hard to enjoy it, but every bite was just a reminder that I was out $700 for food you'd usually have to pay me to eat. It was my birthday, and while I was surprised when the staff brought out a lava cake and ice cream, it was a bit odd that half the ice cream was already melted all over the plate by the time it reached the table. Atmosphere: 3/5 It was fine--nothing to brag about, but about what you'd expect from Fogo. My one critique is the smell; it was a lot better outside than inside. There was this weird, clinical scent--I don't even know how to describe it--that permeated the dining room. Otherwise, it was acceptable. Cost: 1/5 Way overpriced considering what we actually got. It really stings to waste our "once-a-year" expensive family dinner on such awful food. We're done with Fogo, unfortunately.

They brought the food to my table and checked on me while I eating, providing an upscale fast casual experience. Ideal for lunch. Sorry. The portion was generous, but the flavor wasn't really my favorite. It leaned sweeter than expected and had a slightly ketchupy taste that threw me off a bit. I also ordered it at the hot spice level, but it barely had any heat, so I ended up adding chili powder myself. Overall, it's a convenient spot for larger groups and a casual meal, but the Pad Thai didn't quite hit the mark for me.

The quality of the Gulf shrimp was especially impressive. The sauce was good, although I was expecting a little more flavor and heat since it was advertised as spicy. Still, I enjoyed it. The filet was cooked well and had great flavor. We also tried the ribs and the sticky ribs appetizer, and both were really good. But honestly, the best part of the experience was our waiter, Camilo. Camilo provided some of the best service I've experienced at a restaurant. He was extremely attentive without ever being overbearing. He gave great recommendations, kept our water glasses full, checked on us regularly, and somehow was always nearby when we needed something without hovering over the table. That balance is hard to get right, and Camilo nailed it. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. Honestly, he was one of the best servers I've ever had. Just perfect service. The food was great, but the service is what really stood out and made the experience memorable. If you get Camilo as your waiter, you're in good hands

I mosey into Belly Bowl and see that it isn't necessarily a Chinese spot, but an Asian eatery encompassing Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese and Korean cuisine, plus delicious Asian beverages. I chose the Mongolian Beef rice bowl and it came out pretty quickly. I've eaten a lot of Mongolian Beef in my day and this ranks as one of the best. My bowl was filled with a generous portions of tender, flavorful beef with lots of broccoli and rice, very much in proportion to each other. I hate half the bowl at the establishment and packed up the rest to enjoy later. This meal was very filling and a half portion held me over until I got home 8plus hours later. It was a great midnight snack and SO delicious, I stopped again a few days later to order another one. Really, each day I go to work, I have to force myself to not make a pit stop to grab an order because actually I get free food at work and it would be fiscally irresponsible to get it as often as I want. But trust me, Belly Bowl will see me at least 3-4, maybe 5-6, ok eff it, maybe 10 times a month!!! It's great!!!
