But, my +1 cannot resist this boutique and always takes home pieces that are destined to become favorites. She gets complements and the inevitable "where did you get that" inquiries. My favorite clothing store on Abbot Kinney…read more Ananda is one of the first stops on our list when my friends and I are in the area. This small boutique specializes in female clothing, accessories, and fun knick knacks. I purchased my favorite corduroy pants here, as well as a few tops/dresses. I love that every item is unique and you won't find it copy/pasted across the Venice boardwalk. It's also a great place to search for the perfect gift. I found a dainty gemini necklace for one of my best friends and she's worn it non-stop for months. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area! While the items aren't cheap, they're definitely more affordable than the majority of Abbot Kinney shops.

I'm not sure if it's bc of Covid but they need to be on top of their emails. I've sent emails inquiring about returns and never received a response. Granted you do receive the refund back but they just don't reply to emails even if you have a question about sizing. They need to be stronger in this area especially during this time and all the time actually. Don't send them direct messages on IG either bc it will go unnoticed and unanswered. The best is to call (which I have) if you have any questions. However there are times when calling is not option but sending an email is. I hope they improve on this area of their customer service in the near future. Looking forward to visiting the store when it's safe to reopen.

This clothing store is toward the end of Abbot Kinney (closer to N. Venice Blvd) and is a small but…read moremighty shop. They have high end and unique sweaters, dresses, shoes, bags etc. There were two helpful and lovely sales associates working and they made sure to assist customers but also to offer realistic suggestions. I spotted an adorable romper in the back room by the dressing room which had not been swooped up from the summer clothing. It fits great and the purple colors will compliment my skin tone. My friend eyed a bag and seriously contemplated buying it but it was a splurge purchase at $ 325. Of course some spend this on eye cream but it really depends what your budget is. This shop is definitely more of a go in with a purpose or if you're looking for specific items. It isn't a run of the mill clothing store where things are messily thrown in big containers that double as the display cases. I would definitely go back again and was told that the owner has been recognized for her buying prowess for many years and they also have locations in Canada.

Men's designer is harder to find, but at times you'l get lucky with designer menswear.

Used to love this place but now it's more of a buyer beware situation, based on a recent…read moreexperience. I purchased two candle holders and later got a voicemail saying I owed an additional 33 cents because they'd undercharged me. Odd amount to call about, but I was out of town and didn't call back right away. The next day I answered a call (that turned out to be from them) asking for someone else entirely. Assuming the number was possibly spam, I googled the number, saw it was Trove, and then emailed them directly, saying I understood I owed 33 cents and asking for an invoice. They corrected me. I actually owed $33, not 33 cents, they couldn't send an invoice by email, and wanted me to call and give my card info over the phone instead. After everything already off with this (the wrong number call, the 33-cent voicemail, no email invoicing), I didn't feel comfortable reading my card number to someone over the phone. I offered to stop by in person instead, and asked in advance if they could have a receipt ready showing my original 33 cent charge, so I wouldn't be making the trip for nothing. I rearranged my lunch break to make this happen and showed up as planned. No receipt. They said they'd emailed it, but I'd specifically asked for a printed copy, the least they could do given this was their error to begin with. That request took several days notice and still didn't happen. Their printer was "acting up," so I got no receipt for the original charge and none for the new $33 charge, either! An error on their end turned into a special trip, wasted time on my lunch break, and still no paperwork to show for any of it. Disappointing customer service, especially when the customer is the one who has to burn their own time fixing your mistake. Edited to add, following their reply: I was never contesting the dollar amount being charged. I was happy to pay for what I purchased. I stated that they asked me to call in my card over the phone. I addressed why I was uncomfortable with doing that, and had asked for a way to provide payment electronically. When that option was not available I offered to come in. My disappointment is that despite their error, the wrong amount owed left on my voicemail, a random "wrong number" phone call from them, and inability to accept payment over something like square invoicing / Venmo / etc., all I asked for was a printed receipt. If someone has to make time to come in and fix your error, it's the least you could have done. I'm now even more disappointed in them after this response.
