We found this on our first day of vacation in Doral, FL 1/28/26 - Joe Flanigan's Seafood Bar & Grill. We were out and happened by here. Didn't know it was a 25 location chain in south Florida. We were for lunch on the first day and dinner the other days. This place does not feel like a chain restaurant. Big bar with lots of TVs, but also quieter areas away from the bar. Daily lunch specials i.e. soup/salad, sandwiches, crab salad, dirty rice, etc. with a house draft starting at $10. The menu is extensive, from elevated pub grub to full dinners. Try their ribs & chicken wings. Smoked fish dip is very good. Something for everbody. Open 7 days a week 11am-1am. We were also here for the Super Bowl 2/08/26. The place was rockin' and the halftime show by Bad Bunny had most customers on their feet & singing along. Note: parking lot is smaller than the crowds here, plus there's a steady stream of pick up customers. So we were here Jan. 28, 29, 31, & Feb. 8, 2026. My friend and I had a nice experience here. We came early- around 4:30. Parking was easy, but the lot is small and by the time we left around 6:30 there wasn't a spot in sight. Not good. I'm not sure how people are able to come here during peak hours. We sat at the bar for drinks and the waitress was nice. Then we moved to a table to eat. Food and service was good there, too. I'd come here again, but it would have to be during off hours, cause otherwise I have no idea where I'd park. read more

I was able to get to Flanigan's in the Miami area. Heard so many good things about it and I will tell you that the rib egg rolls were pretty over the top. Enjoyed them, enjoyed the garlic rolls my buddy had a steak and some french fries and a salad steak was pretty decent. Fries were a little on the hard side and the salad was neither good nor bad. Our service was fantastic and the atmosphere was fun decent music plane would definitely go back to try the tilapia or the shrimp scampi. Definitely the onion rings. There was just a lot on the menu. One of the things I miss from Miami. Gotta have my flannys wings and get the cup!!! The waiter we had was super attentive and helpful. The evening we went was kinda relaxed which was great. The food deals are always great. Parking can be a challenge since its a popular spot always. But worth the wait. read more

Ate here yest. Ended going to happy hour. I had the special that they were offering. I had the wings. There were 10 wings, garlic rolls, soup and salad. At the end I had to take it home it was too much food for 15.00. Oh I forgot it also came with fries. Service was excellent our server Juan was so patient. Hubby changed his mind like 3 times and Juan never got upset at all. One of the best Flannigans that I have eaten at. I ordered some curbside takeout the other day. They have a burger special with a side for 10.99. I also ordered a side of potato skins . When I got there, I pulled and was greeted and helped within a few minutes. The burger was good but definitely needed some seasoning. The potato skins were a bit burnt on the outside and a little undercooked on the inside, I was able to salvage some of them. They also give me a sad amount of sour cream with my order . read more

Good consistent food choices and preparation of dishes, paired with fair prices. They have an excellent array of deals that differ throughout the week. Rockin rib rolls 4 lyfeee. Please please please expand these restaurants to central FL. St. Pete needs you! Large portions, quality food with plentiful options, and great Floridian ambiance that feels homely. The perfect hangout spot only emphasized by the fact that I've never been to one of these restaurants and it hasn't been slam packed. The parking situation at this location needs help because of it, cars were crammed in everywhere like people were playing Tetris. Was going to be a 30 minute wait for the table, so we booked it to the bar. Service at the bar was friendly and efficient at first. Once our orders were placed it was nearly impossible to get the waitress' attention after that. Down a star for that reason. I'd deal with these minor inconveniences for the flavors of the food any day. 8/10 read more

It's been a love-hate relationship for too long, but based on my latest experience, I'm ready to simply stop going. It's a dark place inside and the tables are generally still a bit dirty and/or sticky when we're seated. The staff is friendly and nice if it's a slow time, but they turn uncaring and unresponsive when it gets busy (not all, but many of them do). The food selection is good, the prices are reasonable and the portions are always generous; unfortunately, the taste is just middle of the road, and sometimes overcooked. When they get a big group, the small tables are mostly neglected. On our last visit, one of the servers became so mean-spirited that she lashed out to a customer so badly that some of her colleagues had to physically restrain her. That level of disrespect is where I draw the line and I will not be going back. read more

Place was packed, and really, food has alway been incredible, but for some reason, the service and part of our orders when're not to their usual quality. We ordered a half a rack meal, a sirloin meal and a full rack or ribs, regular order. The sirloin was requested medium, it came well done, took us about 15 min for the waitress to come and Check even when we were trying to get any of the servers attention. They took it back with a crappy attitude, sirloin came back again well done, 25 min later. (I think they left it too long on the hot plate waiting). Ribs where fantastic, fries where cold and good at all. Service was not good at all, I would like to say because it was packed... but the bad attitude from everyone did not help. Then at the time of payment, they over charged us, when I complaint, it was like I was wrong, until they realized their mistake and quickly changed it not before taking the previous ticket and throwing it away. Not a great experience but would surely go back... maybe to another one or when it's not Sunday 2 pm. I would like to give it 1 star but the ribs were good! So 1 additional star for that. read more

As someone who's owned 3 restaurants and spent 10 years as a National Account Manager for Ecolab, I understand the chaos of a busy night. But I've never felt as weird and embarrassed as I did here. * First off, parking is a nightmare. After circling, I finally found a spot and headed inside. * I sat at the bar to watch the NBA playoffs (and I get it--the Panthers were also playing, so it was packed). * I ordered a Caesar salad and asked to add steak for protein, but was told they couldn't do that. No big deal--I adjusted my order. Finally got the salad and then ordered another steak salad, because I needed some protein for my diet routine. Basically ate two salads and meat. * A second bartender later asked if I'd ordered anything. I said yes, the salad. Turns out the first bartender never rang it in and simply said, "I thought you'd let me know." I arrived at 8 PM and stayed to wait for a friend arriving at 11 PM. During that time, I had 4 drinks--over the course of 3 hours. Then out of nowhere, I was told they couldn't serve me anymore. I asked why and whether I looked drunk. The bartender, who was kind and polite, said, "Absolutely not, you're very nice. It's just that someone got fired recently for over-serving." What confused me is that their own promotion offers a pitcher of beer and 10 wings--clearly one person and it was not limited to groups. if dining alone you would have gotten drunk quick, like the guy who had a 2 hour convo about Star Wars to the left side of me. I was so happy he left. Regardless he was obviously drunk and I would have stopped servicing him, but yet they kept on going. Once she told me that it's a policy I politely said: I"It's not your fault," and left, feeling self-conscious and honestly a bit humiliated. I went to another Flanigan's location right after and they said I looked perfectly fine. Even though she told me they fired someone today because of it. I don't feel I should be the person they need to prove that point to. I appreciate that they're monitoring guests, but there needs to be consistency. I was surrounded by visibly drunk couples--some who clearly knew the staff--and I'm the one they cut off? I won't be back. Not because of the staff (who were actually very sweet), but because of how poorly and awkwardly this situation was handled. Flanigan's needs to pick its battles more carefully if it wants to treat guests. read more

This is a go to spot each time we visit our daughter in Miami. The menu has a variety of food, something for everyone. They have great lunch and dinner specials and prices are reasonable with big portion sizes. It is a busy sports bar type atmosphere and service is always good. Our servers have always been attentive and keeps our drinks filled. I love that I can bring the drink cup home. It makes for a conversation piece. We ordered loaded nachos, Joe's Rockin rib rolls and some garlic rolls on this visit. The egg rolls were very tasty. A perfect amount of meat and cheese. I wish the nachos would have had some of the cheese that is saucy, but there was a lot of shredded cheese. Nachos were a very large portion and shared amongst the table. The rolls were very buttery. Dinner menu was very extensive. It had a bit of everything. Food was fresh and delicious. We tried the burgués, ribs and the steak which did not disappoint. Service was very good. Very attentive staff. We had to wait a little for a large table for our group, but once seated we were helped right away. . Ambiance was good, I wish they had the music volume q but lower or at least there were two different areas for families with a lower music level. Decor was pretty cool. Prices were great, even low for the quality of food and service. We were very pleased. We will definitely go back there next visit to Miami. read more
