My family and I hosted a family gathering here and the manager was very friendly and helpful with reserving the large room in the back for us. On the day of our reservation, the servers were organized about directing our guests and getting drink orders. The food stations were plentiful and clean. Variety was great. There was even a sushi station and ice cream freezer. The taste of the food, however, was average. Same as what you expect at other similar "Seafood" buffets. They had stopped replenishing some of the dishes, and what was left seemed like it had been sitting out for quite a while. Today I took my family to Flaming Buffet in Norwalk. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The food quality was not very good, but the bigger issue was the customer service. As we were leaving, we took some ice cream to eat later. An employee stopped us and spoke to us very rudely. He did not allow us to eat the ice cream and treated us with disrespect. His behavior felt unprofessional and inappropriate, especially in front of my family. He appeared to be a manager, and his attitude was very bad. We have been to many other buffets before, and we have never experienced this kind of rude treatment. Customers should be treated with respect. Looking for a cheap Chinese buffet at a very reasonable price? This is a place for you. There are a lot of other cheap Chinese buffets, but this place is a lot more affordable than others especially considering the number of dishes they have. The food options were typical of other restaurants in terms of the seafood options and Chinese dishes, but they had very little in terms of dessert. No loss for me as I don't go there for the desserts, but they did have packaged single serving ice cream cups available which was a nice touch. As for the taste of the food in general, I will say that something was lacking something. The food was okay but I don't know if it's less seasoned or what, but it was lacking something. Honestly, considering the price point and that it's a buffet, I am not complaining. The service was efficient and good. They are located in a shopping center so parking is not an issue. I'd drive past this building all the time seeing it was under construction, so imagine my surprise when they finally opened! As someone inclined more towards the seafood, I can say that the hot items were quite fresh, especially the crab and crawfish. Sushi bar had a decent variety, more rice than desired but that's okay. Had sashimi too, the salmon (which I always look for) was buttery & creamy, delicious. Appreciated the cold items too, don't see too many places with jellyfish or pork hock! Hot items were generally decent. Some are a tad underseasoned (the seafood soup as an example), but I actually prefer that since you can just salt it yourself instead of it starting out excessively salty. I didn't use it but they do have a hibachi station! Dessert fruit was especially fresh, I enjoyed that they had egg tarts (though they were left out a little too long and a bit shriveled). Servers were very nice and responsive! Wasn't too crowded when I went at 5:30 on a Sunday, parking could get crowded towards peak hours though since the plaza is a bit narrow. They had things like cajun seafood, tacos, latino soup, minion steamed buns, premade hand rolls, pickled daikon, coconut steamed bun, and more. Food was hot when I got my first plate. I like this place. It's very casual and I was lucky enough to find a coupon, although I have never seen one again. It's in a strip mall under the large Norwalk Square illuminated sign. Parking was a little hard to find even though there were many parking spaces (filled). They have a good selection of Chinese buffet style foods, like shellfish, sushi, crayfish/crawdads. The jalapeno baby octopus was tasty. They have a nice Mongolian bbq station where they will cook up ingredients you select and hand to them. Beef short ribs is one of the ingredients you can hand them. I just handed them the beef short ribs without any other ingredients because I wanted kalbi. Their desserts are things like jello, pudding and ice cream (various flavors including vanilla, chocolate and oreo). I had the oreo ice cream. read more

Went here on their opening week. Food was delicious and the crabs did not disappoint. Food choices are amazing from the sushi bar, to seafood (oysters, shrimps, crabs), desserts, steak, mongolian and even hot cook meals. Their servers were approachable too. Since this is walking distance to our house, we would sometimes go over lunch whenever we craved for crabs. Until after 2 months since they opened, they stopped serving the same quality of crabs. From steamed crabs, they started serving fried small crabs that you can't get to eat unless you would eat everything crispy. Lesson learned, every time we craved for crabs, we always check or ask first if they have steamed crabs, if they don't, we leave. And so far, we haven't been back since Sept. Impressive at first only. Also, the restrooms are filthy and smells bad. Seems like no one checks on it. Will be back only if they would serve the same quality of crabs they used too. read more

They had a server walking around with a pen and paper to write down everyone's drinks and they were able to bring them relatively quickly with no mistakes. Some places can't serve a big group but they did great, kudos to the staff for being organized. The food here is just ok. Pretty typical of a Chinese buffet, but nothing to write home about. The flavor is relatively bland on some dishes, but if you're hungry, sometimes you'll eat anything, so I guess it doesn't matter too much if you want a quick bite to eat.
