The variety of the food was fairly impressive: there's sushi, grilling or hibachi, seafood (shrimp, crab, mussels, clams, crawfish, fish fillet, fresh fruits, cooked vegetables, noodles, etc. I only ate crab & shrimp coz I rarely eat crab. The crab heat dat was very briny yet tasty, dipped in vinegar Yum. It was so good that I ste & picked at the crab caveman style lol. This was definitely one of the best Asian buffets I've been to! It's very large inside with lots of seating, but it does get busy on the weekends at peak lunch/dinner, so expect a wait if you are going at those times. Service was amazing, they were really quick to come by and pick up our empty plates, which some buffets aren't so good at. There was such a good variety of foods to choose from, ranging from your typical Asian buffet foods to crab and oysters. My personal favorites were the crab, sushi, crawfish, the galbi at the grill, and of course I ate a ton of their cheese rangoons! They also had plenty of dessert options and ice cream. I went with the raspberry sorbet because it was dairy free and I didn't want to blow up the toilet later on. It was surprisingly really creamy for being dairy free and was super delicious! We went here to celebrate a friend's significant birthday party. The food selection was vast and so delicious. You can even have Korean style meat grilled. You can't go wrong with their prices too where nowadays you pay for a "gourmet" burger for $18 on up. That's just so ridiculous. First, let's start with the fact they took my plate from my table that was in front of my face without asking if I'm done or still working on it -- which I was still working on it. Literally food still on there. But it was fine cause I wasn't a huge fan of the food anyways so I did not make a fuss. 2nd, very nice ambiance and restaurant but food wasn't up to the same standards. Lacking in flavor and quality. Coconut shrimp was hard and chewy. Maybe cause it was the last of it in there and they wait til the very last piece is gone before setting out fresh trays. Few things were good like this crispy chicken skewer they had and bbq pork, miso soup. Everything else looked great but just was lacking in flavor. I couldn't even eat the chow mein and rice which in my opinion is hard to ruin because of its simple ingredients but the flavor of most of the food tasted like... fake. I don't know how else to describe. Like a plastic-y taste. Likely because buffet is quantity over quality but I've been to similar buffets like one in Buena Park has never failed me on flavor and good seasonings when comparing the two. We were in the area nearby to go see a movie at Norwalk AMC, wanting to have a nice lunch before watching and decided to stop in to try. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't anything to have me rushing to return and I honestly wouldn't recommend or return in the future to be honest. If you're really hungry or not a big Asian food connoisseur such as myself you might enjoy most of what they have to offer. My sister and I went to Flaming Seafood Buffet hoping for a great experience and some delicious food, but unfortunately it was very disappointing and honestly below average. Most of the food was room temperature, including items that should have been kept properly hot or cold. That was especially concerning when it came to the seafood. The mussels were overly warm and tasted off, and a lot of the fish did not seem to be stored at appropriate food safe temperatures. Several items also tasted stale. The pricing didn't match the experience. It was $23 per person plus $6 for a drink, and I never once received a refill. In fact, I didn't even realize we had a server until the very end when she brought the check. The restaurant wasn't busy, so it was confusing and disappointing that no one checked on us throughout the meal. The only positive was the sushi. it wasn't bad, and the woman preparing it was very kind and sweet. However, if I had wanted just sushi, I would have gone to an AYCE sushi restaurant instead. Overall, the restaurant felt messy and unorganized, and the experience simply wasn't worth the money we paid. Our party was pleasantly surprised with the wide selection and high quality of sushi and sashimi offered for this price point. The fish were all very fresh, and probably the highlight of the buffet. I saw that the buffet had been remodeled and wanted to give it a shot. The place looks nice, and there definitely was a wide selection of foods, mostly Chinese foods of course, plus a decent sushi selection and a grill to-order Mongolian bbq selection. Seafood options included lots of shrimp- cold, cajun, steamed, fried, etc., fish, mussels, squid, octopus and small fried Chinese style crabs. Fresh fruits, and the usual puddings and jello as all other Asian buffets. As all other asian buffets, crab legs are history- none to be found here. I am going to have to return on a Friday or weekend if I ever go back. The problem was, we arrived at 6:30 on a Tuesday night. There were only a handful of tables of people not enough people eating to have new food made fresh. No food turnover at a buffet is not great- the food had good flavors, but everything was lukewarm, the fried foods weren't crispy or were hard/dried out, and the overall selection at the sushi bar was slim pickings. My wife kept saying, "I wish this was hot it would be better". Ended up eating more Mongolian BBQ than I would have liked only because it was cooked to order and hot. $20.99 for dinner, with tax and a tip came to $52.00 for two of us.
