Flaming Buffet in Corona exceeded expectations. The food was fresh and served at perfect temperatures--cold items crisp, hot items steaming and fresh. The variety--from sushi to seafood--was excellent. The staff was friendly and diverse, speaking English and Chinese Chinese. Plus, the entire place was spotless--dishes cleared quickly and floors kept clean. Highly recommend it!

Variety is king! Plus the food is palatable, kept full and fresh in batches. The restaurant is clean and the servers collect your used plates from your table quickly. Plate 1: stuffed scallop, cheesy green mussel, manila clams in black bean sauce, cream cheese wonton, peppered beef, orange chicken, chr siu spare ribs, chicken nugget, eggroll, potsticker, chicken wings, and sautéed green beans. Verdict: decent quality for buffet and the standouts were the stuffed scallop, cheesy green mussel, and char siu spar ribs for 4/5 stars. Plate 2: salt & pepper crab cluster, chicken wings, coconut shrimp, stuffed scallop, cheesy green mussel, teriyaki chicken, general Tso chicken, garlic chicken, and chicken nuggets. Verdict: unfortunately the crab was fishy tasting (2/5 stars), but the coconut shrimp was delectable (4/5 stars). The rest were typical fare for a 3.5/5 star rating. Plate 3: cheese pizza, fried battered fish, chicken wings, unagi, California roll, beef without broccoli, spicy chicken, and sautéed green beans. Verdict: the fried battered fish and spicy chicken were delightful, 4/5 stars. The rest were a 3.5/5 stars. To conclude, I didn't have room for dessert but as you can tell that this is the spot for feasting and well worth the $22.99 admission price!

    A fly in my drink

My drink had a big fly in I didn't notice until I've drank half of it started gagging and left this place is trash. Worker who brought me the drink was rude and was laughing with his co workers about it. When someone is distressed about A FLY in their drink you do not start laughing. Very unprofessional and nasty behavior on staffs part. DISGUSTING

#600 Flaming Buffet - Corona This is the 3rd Flaming Buffet location we have been to, and is the absolute winner of all the other Flaming Buffets we've been to!!! Parking lot is huge but shared with Walmart and Vons, so it could get full. Service was great, drinks constantly refilled and plates collected. Not only is the sushi selection fresh, but they have thinly sliced NY steak and Kbbq kalbi ribs at the hibachi grill for dinner and weekends!! The kalbi ribs were marinated well and so tender & juicy!! Although the NY steak was thinly sliced, it was still delish and hit the spot!! #winning!! Chicken wings were fresh, juicy, and crunchy. Mi fen noodles were delish, and great pairing w the short ribs!! Great selection of seafood, Chinese food, fruits, desserts, and other fried finger food!!! All this for $23.99 you really can't go wrong!! Definitely my new fave buffet!!

The food was great! Not busy at all! Lunch prices were until 3:30 made it by 20 minutes! Stuffed myself! We were here just about a month ago for dinner. Today for lunch it was 15.30 each! Lots of help and very helpful!

There's fly on the table i used

If you think about bringing ziplock bag to store food its not worth it. Desserts lack interest for such big store sign. Restroom need improvement and lighting in all interiors also. The fly landed on the table maybe there's a spark of hope.

Salmon in the chicken broth looked different but Tasted great... bbq Chicken wings had sum kind of teriyaki sauce... chicken thighs were tender and juicy... desserts and Fresh fruit didn't really try... imitation crab sushi and tamago... i Finished with... ooohhh yeah I Forgot about that one salt and pepper chicken nuggets.... A seafood, Chinese, sushi, & grill buffet in the AYCE environment. I have been here twice in the last week. The first visit was in the mid to late afternoon. I would have given it 3 stars. Food was ok for what this place is. Nothing great. Quality of food is on the low medium side of the scale. Seemed clean and service was okay. However, I visited FB an hour before closing this evening. This is definitely a NO GO choice. The food was horrible. Nothing was fresh, orange chicken was tough in places, sushi bar was very limited, I think it was a spicy chicken was hard, chow main looked over cooked/heated, wings over cooked/heated. Most of the choices seemed to be the bottom of the barrel and not worth the price of admission. Also, I found a hair in the wasabi plate. Not mine because I am bald, plus it was in the wasabi and not on top. It seems like if a restaurant is not going to stock up and just let people come to eat their table scraps, they should give a discount. If I payed 10 bucks for such an experience I might be okay, it is still a bad choice either way. For this experience I gave them a 1 star. With that they end up with 2 stars to balance it out. If you are hungry and are fine with eating average to low quality food in a somewhat clean place that has decent service, you will probably be okay. However, if you're looking for that same level of mediocre an hour before they close, go somewhere else. As always, your mileage may vary (but in this instance, I doubt it. )

Yoshioishi Sushi & Ramen had solid reviews, so we decided to pivot and give it a try. First impression: the menu is extensive. It's one of those places where you almost don't know where to start. The fan favorites are marked with a red flower, which helped narrow things down. We also asked our server for suggestions, which made it easier to navigate. We arrived just before 5pm and there was only one other table. We were told to sit anywhere we'd like. By the time we left, the restaurant was filling up and it seemed like there were quite a few regulars coming in. Here's what we tried: Salted edamame: Just average. A bit limp and not as crisp as I'm used to, so they didn't feel especially fresh. Gyoza: Really nice flavor and the dipping sauce was well balanced. These were solid. Yellowtail jalapeño sashimi: This was different in a good way. It had cilantro and a slightly sweeter sauce instead of the traditional garlic ponzu. Unexpected, but a pleasant surprise. Crispy chicken karaage: Slightly over fried but still flavorful. The dipping sauce helped. Crispy rice with spicy tuna: Just okay. One piece barely had tuna on top. Not bad, but not something I'd reorder. Cucumber salad: Served on a bed of iceberg lettuce, which surprised us, but the dressing had great flavor. This disappeared quickly. Nigiri: The salmon was incredibly fresh and one of the highlights. The albacore and toro came topped with fresh wasabi, which was a nice touch. We really enjoyed the salmon and albacore. The toro didn't quite melt in your mouth like we hoped. It was a bit chewy. Crazy Salmon Roll: Good flavor, but note that the salmon on the outside is fully cooked. We expected raw, so just something to keep in mind. Snow Mountain Roll: A fan favorite at the table. Great texture and flavor. Plain udon and plain ramen: Both were excellent. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the portions were generous. We definitely over ordered, but we left very full. One small detail for fellow tea lovers: I always look forward to hot tea at a Japanese restaurant, especially when it's served in a small pot you can refill at the table. Here it was hot water with a tea bag in a metal cup, which was too hot to comfortably hold, and there was no teapot provided. Not a deal breaker, but next time I'd probably skip the tea. Service was strong. In addition to our main server, two other team members checked in and refilled water regularly, which we appreciated. Overall, I'd call it a 3.5 if that were an option, so I'm landing at 3 stars. The food was decent, the atmosphere comfortable, and the service attentive. It didn't completely wow us, but we're glad we tried it.

We stumbled upon Rakki when we first moved to Chino Hills in 2023, and took a break from coming when our son was in the oven. It was definitely our go to Sushi spot when we had the energy to make it out there. We loved the various choices of nigiri, sushi rolls and even the appetizers. Shortly before they closed, the owner even gave us a complimentary yellowtail collar which was absolutely delicious, amazingly flavorful and super juicy (we never ordered this previously, since we always went with the AYCE option). The AYCE was very reasonably priced for what you got, and could be considered on the very cheap end, for quality of the food you got and options available. Rakki Sushi got high praises from our foodie friends who would visit us as well. The chef and staff were always super nice, they always came to check on how we were doing when they weren't too overwhelmed with the busyness, and we loved how super friendly they were. Our son loved the staff as well, and he always gave them smiles back in response to theirs. The ambience was more of a local/casual sushi spot, rather than somewhere fancy, which my wife and I greatly enjoyed since we like dressing comfortably in just t-shirts and joggers. The tables, seats, and utensils were always clean when we went there. The men's restroom wasn't the cleanest looking, but given the location it was understandable. Plus, we were there for the food, and not really to strictly use the restroom. We greatly miss you Rakki Sushi and hope you are able to come back one day!
