Then one day a wonton soup craving hit, but I needed the wontons to be filled with chicken since I don't eat red meat and bam, this place right across the road is one of the few to offer that. I've repeated the wonton soup 5+ times, often with an order of egg rolls which are excellent (a little more spring roll than egg roll). A couple other things I've tried and would repeat are the teriyaki chicken and the cream cheese puffs. On the other hand I've had better chicken potstickers, and the walnut shrimp was terrible (thankfully for me, not my order; unfortunately for my family members, they thought the same). We've dined in once but otherwise taken out. It's very casual (order at the counter) but pleasant/clean enough to enjoy eating there.

It's a hearty hot meal for anyone looking for a quick bite. I thought the appetizer sampler was a good deal if that's what you're looking for. I thought everything was a bit bland for me. The stir fry was full of bright and tasty veggies. It's rare to find a restaurant that still sells fried tofu dishes at a reasonable price. I tried a bite of the mongolian beef and did not like it. I would not recommend it because it was extremely sweet. It was almost like syrup. And there was no spice whatsoever. Something else may speak to me, but I'm still looking for a good quick Chinese restaurant in the desert.

I have tried their curry dishes, noodles, and soups. Today I got their chicken and shrimp pad thai and it was so delicious. You can tell that everything is made out of fresh ingredients. At its core, this is a Vietnamese restaurant specializing in Pho. They label themselves as Fusion…read moreand has some "fusion" items but it really wan't fusion at all. As a plus, they were open on Easter Sunday so off I went with my Wife and baby. We were the only ones for a long time. They had a wall where apparently some customers could draw on it? Bizarre but I guess they're going for "youth". Service was fine...they had some college kids there but they did well. My Pho was fine, good broth, hot broth. It's what you'd expect at a Vietnamese restaurant. My wife ordered some veggie dumplings and they were exactly the same as the frozen dumplings we buy from the asian supermarket. Her Veggie fried rice was joke with a very small quantity and no real veggies. Overall, stick with the Pho and you'll be fine.

I'm not saying it's spicy, but my mouth just filed for divorce from the rest of my body…read more The food here isn't that spicy. I just wanted to say it is. Four of us came here recently to celebrate my mom's birthday. Salt & pepper calamari, beef chow fun, spicy shrimp hot pot, and some kind of pork kidney dish was ordered. I've been here once before but I forgot how good the salt & pepper calamari was. The beef chow fun was also amazing. They cook was gas and wok here so you know that "wok hei" is on point here. You can never make chow fun or fried rice with the same smoky flavor with electric. I will say that the peppercorns here aren't tongue numbing. I like this place though. I can't believe I forgot about them until now.

I'll never come back. Today was the last straw…read more I went inside to place a to-go order and sat at the bar. The lady (owner) asked if I was placing a to-go order, and I said yes. Instead of grabbing me a menu, she immediately got up to help another table and didn't come back for about five minutes. When she finally returned, she asked if I was ready to order. I calmly replied, "I don't have a menu." She seemed irritated, as if I was somehow in the wrong for asking for one. I also asked for a glass of water while I looked over the menu, but that water never came. A couple of minutes later, she came back again and asked if I was ready to order. As I was telling her exactly what I wanted, she continued to have an attitude the entire time. At that point, I simply got up and walked out. Her demeanor was off from the moment I sat down, and that's no way to treat a paying customer, especially when you're charging premium prices for the food.(Which they do, but that's another story) Customer service is the foundation of a great restaurant, and unfortunately, this experience had none. I won't be returning.
