I can't explain how frustrating the process of dealing with electricians has been for me since I purchased my new home. I had gone through at least a handful of electricians that were highly unreliable and unprofessional. It seemed like I would never find someone to complete the work I needed to have done at my home. Luckily I came across Mark at Fixacal when I sent a blast of requests out on Yelp. He responded in a good amount of time and was professional from start to finish with his job. I was so pleased with his work that I decided to do additional lighting for my master closet, as well. Mark was meticulous and very knowledgeable regarding lighting and electrical work. His commitment to ensuring his clients were happy with his work spoke for itself. I was very pleased with his work and would gladly recommend Fixacal to anyone looking at have electrical and lighting work done in their home professionally and conscientiously. read more

We called Matt to install 12 recessed lights and we couldn't be more pleased. We have an older home, so different materials in our ceiling, some places were wood, others plaster, and some outdated electricity wires, but it was no issue for Matt and his team. He finished the whole job in a day, made sure everything was in perfect condition and was incredibly detailed oriented. Didn't leave any detail unnoticed and left the project extremely clean. I couldn't recommend his service enough. read more

Mark was great to spruce up various electrical jobs I had. He changed and moved a ceiling light into a ceiling fan + light in our dining room. Replaced a burnt out ballast in the kitchen and swapped our outdated CFL's to LED's. We had an issue with the cable running throughout the house not going to all the rooms. He remedied that. Also, he mounted a TV in one of the bedrooms WHILE also adding an additional outlet and cabling behind the TV so you do not see any wires coming from the TV or Cable box. I mean the TV is just floating there all clean! This is 110% the contractor you want in your phone. I feel bad as my puppy seemed to nonstop bark at him the whole time he was here. If he can work under high pitched puppy stress, than nothing rattles him. read more

I was in need of electric charger installation at home and Mark was very prompt in responding back. He explained me all the details about the voltage and amp needs. He also went to the store to look out for the outlet i was requesting for. Thank you Mark. How many electricians have you met with AI knowledge and OCR technology? It was a fun conversation talking about electrical AI based auto takeoffs. read more

I recently used FixaCal (Mark) to install my Tesla Wall Connector. Mark came to my house to look at my electrical panel and location where I wanted my wall charger to be installed. The next day he emailed me a quote using a conduit or going through the wall with drywall repair and paint. I decided to go through the wall for a cleaner look. The day of install Mark and his apprentice, Walter, started doing the work. Both were on time and professional. As they started cutting the drywall, they came across a portion of the drywall that needed additional cutting due to plywood behind the drywall. Needless to say, a job that would have taken a few hours than previously quoted, took an additional 2-3 hours. Although there was more work involved, Mark stayed true to his estimated price and didn't charge an additional penny. I would recommend FixaCal (Mark) for all your electrical needs. read more

Fixacal is the best company for home improvement and contractor work! Mark helped me design and remodel my whole home; he offers an extremely wide variety of skills like electrical and plumbing! My home came completely vanilla white with the exception of matte black countertops and wood cabinets and everything else was done by mark and his employees. Extremely satisfied and the price was great. I always text Mark whenever I need any work done and will definitely be messaging him when it's time for my next big project! read more

We are very impressed by the oven installation Mark did for us today! He did a comprehensive consultation before he came and he came prepared. Mark is extremely professional and he explained all the electrical code we need to follow. Our double wall oven was hard to install and Mark had to modify our cabinet which wasn't expected. He came up with multiple proposals and did accurate measurement before he executed the plan. We spent a lot more time than expected on the oven and Mark did not even ask us to pay extra for his time. We will hire him again! read more

Mark helped me install another chandelier in my home and did an exemplary job. As always, he was very clear in his bid, was methodical in his work, and the end result really shines. This job required relocating the chandelier hookup several inches so it would be center to the table. It also required reinforcing the ceiling support since the chandelier was extremely heavy (100lbs+). He went through the attic to add this reinforcement so I can be sure this fixture is not going anywhere. Highly recommend Mark and his team. read more

I've used FixaCal multiple times over the past couple of years for a number of electrical repairs, including installing a chandelier on a vaulted high ceiling, outlet troubleshooting, mounting a TV, repairs to the main electrical panel, replacement of a landscape transformer for the outdoor lighting system, and other items. Mark is very knowledgeable and incredibly responsive. Most recently, I contacted Mark in the morning, and he and Leo were able to swing by later that day to knock out the project. Mark and Leo are both professional, detail-oriented, clean, and good guys to know. I'll continue to use FixaCal for my electrical needs, and am sure they do an equally amazing job on other types of improvements. I highly recommend FixaCal. read more

Mark did a fantastic job fixing the broken electric wiring in a bedroom at my house. He did a thorough forensic investigation to locate the problem area. I really appreciate his consideration of avoid cutting up the dry wall, and finding the most cost effective solution for me as the home owner. Before Mark, I got a quote from another electric company. But I didn't feel comfortable with their hard to understand "might be" solutions and "might be" costs. Mark explained his approach to me before he started the job. He is very knowledgably and experienced. I highly recommend him and his business and will definitely call him up next time when I need some electric work done. Chunyan read more

Mark is professional and knowledgeable in his field. It would be hard to find another contractor that would perform the work at this level for the price of the project. I had him upgrade our exiting panel to a 200 amp one and direct wire a 240V EV charger. The work was completed fast and efficiently, during the process he also pointed out some preexisting issues with old wiring and was very through with is work. Through out the whole project the communication was consistent and he shared every step of the process along the way. I would recommend him for any work you need done, knowing that the job will be completed correctly and professionally. read more

They did a great job installing a Nema 14-50 in my garage w/ city permit. It was alittle expensive but they did some quality work to make sure every look perfect for the inspection by the city. I just replaced my built-in refrigerator with a standard one from Home Depot and was looking for someone to remove from the cabinetry and disconnect it from water (Home Depot doesn't do that). I basically got a no from like 20 people before I found Mark at FixaCal. He was able to do what I needed very quickly--and with no damage to fridge, floors, or cabinetry. He also pointed out that the previous installer had rigged the fridge to wires to power it on instead of installing an electrical outlet, and put in said outlet. Cost was reasonable--and Mark was courteous, professional, and very knowledgeable. I'm actually having him do the cabinetry after the new fridge is installed, as well as take care of a few other long-overdue projects around my house. Highly recommended. read more
