Excellent service with getting my Tesla Wall connector installed. He was done super fast and pricing was reasonable. Thank you!

Had Mr. Kim come out to two homes already and both times he was early, efficient, and left the work space extremely tidy. First time we called him, was to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet for our EVSE. He was so efficient, you barely knew he was around. The most recent visit was for an older home where we decided to replace two Intermatic timers that were haphazardly installed and some garage light wiring that was not up to code. Mr. Kim arrived early and got everything done in a few hours. He was able to install new wiring with minimal fuss and the smart switch & EVSE install had the place looking better than before. As always he left the work area spotless. Won't hesitate to call him back for future electrical needs. read more

Amazing service! I called Super Power after one of our kitchen outlets short-circuited and got scorched. We didn't feel safe using it, but we couldn't shut off power to that outlet without also turning off our refrigerator. I had already called 3-4 other companies, but everyone said they were booked out for at least a week since it wasn't considered an emergency. When I called Super Power, he said he was finishing up a job nearby and could be here in about 30 minutes. He replaced the damaged outlet, inspected our other kitchen outlets, and tested everything. He even labeled all the GFCIs and swapped out a couple of old, yellowing outlet plates for us. He was thorough, professional, and kind. Pricing was very fair and transparent. I highly recommend him and will definitely call again for any electrical work. read more

Mr Kim is amazing! I was having some issues with my AC that turned out to be electrical and needed the help of a professional! He's exactly that! He came out within a day, diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in under an hour. Even gave some recommendations for future electrical upgrades. A couple months later, we needed to get a NEMA 14-50 outlet installed for an EV and knew he was was the man for the job. We waited a few days this time but it was well worth it. Super clean work! Thanks Mr Kim! read more

Full panel upgrade + EV charger install, Wonho is the man!! Great pricing, and excellent workmanship and attention to detail. I've hired different electricians throughout my time and this was the best experience I've had so far. Came same day to look at the problem, provided a quote, I paid the down payment that night, and he scheduled within a week for the appointment. Came right on time and finished the job on time. Wonho (Super Power Electric) was a referral by another friend in Irvine who had an outlet installed and highly recommended his service. Reaching out to make an appointment was easy, and he arrived exactly on time (actually, I was late returning home and he ended up waiting an extra 10 minutes for me...) and I was able to do a walkthrough of my electrical issues. After discussing my options, I decided to only replace an older junction box that had too many wires crammed. We scheduled another appointment and he gave me a very reasonable quote for the work that needed to be done (trim drywall, mount box, organize wires). On the day of the actual job, Wonho brought gear (respirator mask) and a cart full of his tools. He also wore shoe covers when inside the household, which was a nice and respectful detail for those who care. The job took some time and we did come across some hiccups, but ultimately he stayed longer to make sure the issues were resolved. It was partially my own fault as well, as I had installed my own smart dimmer switch and he seemed a bit surprise with how I had the wires set-up. After getting the wires organized, he re-installed my smart switch and a regular switch. The new junction box definitely seems sturdier (and much more spacious on the inside), whereas before the smart switch was bulging out of the wall plate due to the crammed wires. It was also nice that he had recorded his original quote from the first appointment so there was no random up-charge for the completed job. Overall, a very easy electrician to deal with, great service and follow up, and would easily recommend to any friends who may be having electrical problems at home! read more

Due to some type of circuit overload triggered by a small space heater (requiring more than the breaker reset) I had to call for help. Mr. Kim responded even though it was a holiday and was able to fix the problem quickly. I found him to be efficient and easy to work with so had him return to replace all my other outlets as well as install a light fixture. He and his assistant were very neat and did a good job. His pricing seemed reasonable - I wouldn't hesitate to call him in future! read more

A few months ago we decided to change our gas cooktop to an electric induction cooktop. The problem is our kitchen doesn't have the required electrical circuit (30A, 240V) for the induction cooktop. Contacted a few electricians and Super Power Electric came through. Mr. Kim and his assistant spent 6 hours to install around 100 feet of electrical conduit and wires, a new circuit breaker, and the electrical connection to the induction cooktop. They did a professional installation and it also passed the city permit inspection. We enjoy using our new induction cooktop over our previous gas cooktop. read more

He did an excellent and thorough job, making sure everything worked correctly. I would hire him again for any future electrical issues. His pricing was far less than what I was quoted over the phone by other companies. Highly recommend! read more

We needed our electrical panel upgraded and a 240v outlet installed to accommodate our Tesla, which is a process requiring permits, etc. Wonho had the best prices and stellar reviews so it was a no brainer going with him. My husband mainly communicated with Wonho throughout the process, but he was always responsive, punctual, and clear with what to expect. One of the days required our power to be completely shut off for 8 hours, but luckily he was able to time it on a Saturday so we didn't need to take work off. He did a great job with everything and we're glad we went with him to upgrade our panel! read more

Wonho the owner was a great find here on Yelp. I started what I thought was a DIY project to replace a GFCI receptical. What I thought was going to be an easy 15 min job turned into 1.5 hrs and I started getting concerned since I couldn't get the power to work and ironically the Super Bowl was starting. I was able to get the power back on and while watching the game requested a quote on Yelp. To my surprise Wonho responded in a short time with a very reasonable quote. He came down early on Monday morning and had everything straightened out within about 45 mins. Super friendly and on time. I will definitely keep his info the next time I could use some electrical work. read more

Hired Wonho for another home project. As usual always very responsive via text and happy to assist with my questions. We were adding some items to the garage + mini split AC, and needed to make sure power was prepped. Got scheduled and in no time, under the time he estimated. Cleaned up as if no work was even performed. Had everything set up to be able to run what we needed safely! We had asked Wonho to help install 3 Ring Floodlight security cameras at our home. He and his assistant came and did a great job - they were very efficient. The Irvine city inspector just left my house. When he arrived, the first thing he did was remove the cover of the sub-panel Wanho installed. His exact words were, "This is perfect. This is exactly what we want to see. Zip ties, proper bends. This is great." I don't think anything says it better than that. Thanks, Wanho. Fantastic work at a great price. read more

We wanted to install a Level 2 car charger (NEMA 14-50 plug) and called around to a few places. Super Power Electric came back with the best price and timing. After sending some pictures and stopping by to see our electrical panel, it was determined that we needed a sub-panel (we didn't have enough space in our main panel). We aligned on date and cost for the install. Within a week, they got a permit for the work (your timing may vary due to your city), installed everything, and helped with scheduling the permit closure. The city came today and completed the inspection. They got the install done quickly, cleaned everything up, and we are very happy! Thank you! read more

Wonho installed a new NEMA 6-20 240V outlet for my incoming EV vehicle. He was able to install everything using my existing panel even though it is older. He recommended it to be updated (and it does) but did not pressure me, he just advised it would give more flexibility in the future. Everything he finished for us was up to California code and looks fantastic! He was fair and very nice to work with. I will be using him for future electrical needs! read more
