Trash Dumping: After they replaced my electrical panel they filled all my trash cans with the trash, including my recycling bin - with construction trash that would get rejected. I had to pull all of it out when I found it several days later and make them come back and get it 2. Communication / Coordination: After the panel replacement there was coordination required to get inspections and stucco done. I had to hound them, they were not responsive, dragged their feet. Every time you call you get a different person and they put a buffer between you and the project manager so you cant ever reach your project manager directly. 3. Work Quality: We had to run a new ground wire and install new ground rods. They did the bare minimum to make them code compliant, leaving me with sketchy metal spears sticking 5 inches out of the ground. I told them this did not work for us because we have young kids running around. I needed the GEC run below grade and the ground rods inside valve boxes. All of this was approved by the inspector. The way they moaned and groaned... They stopped returning my calls and sent me a $2000 f-off quote to change the ground wire. I have sketchy rods sticking out of my yard, open stucco around the panel, they dont take my calls and I have to hire someone else to come finish the job. Honestly up there with one of my worst experiences with a contractor.

They walked me through all the pricing, kept me up to date on what would be expected from the city for inspections, gave me accurate timelines, and even installed 3 exterior outlets for us, and they did it all very quickly. They even left me the leftover paint matching our exterior. The work is excellent all around. Most importantly - I accidentally overpaid Ismart by $1000, and the owner contacted me to inform me of this, and promptly refunded me my overpayment. Not only do they do great work, but they are good people. I can't recommend them enough.

Before Eric came out, I had another electrician look at the problem and I was told I would need to completely rewire my house. The thought of spending thousands of dollars and having my walls opened up throughout my home was extremely stressful. Eric took the time to actually investigate the problem and found a major issue that the other electrician had missed. He was able to fix it in just half a day, and everything has been working perfectly since. What impressed me most about Eric was that he didn't just fix the immediate problem and leave. He walked through my entire house with me, checked everything, and made sure things were working properly and up to code. He was knowledgeable, thorough, and honest.
