Jonathan and his team were awesome! I got a quote to paint and install a new spoiler on my car (on Yelp), and it was a no brainer to bring it here. On top of their perfect 5* Yelp and their price was 1/2 of the other shops; I would be stupid not to give them a shot. Dropped it off early Weds and came back Fri afternoon to a perfectly painted spoiler! They installed it on the car and even buffed it to bring out the shine! Jonathan was very professional and knowledgeable. His team was very efficient and got me in and out in less then an hour. They even taped down the spoiler so as I drove home it ensured the double sided tape stayed in place. They advised not to really drive it for about 24 hours to let the paint fully cure and the 3m double sided tape to fully hold the spoiler in place. Auto Body shop located just off the 78 freeway in San Marcos. I went with Cid because they seemed friendly and professional. Communication was good, I was sent text updates. All questions were answered promptly. After they began the job, they asked the insurance company for more money than the original estimate and the insurance adjustor gave it to them. They didn't tell me about this until after the job was done and I went to pick up my car. Also my car had white dust all over the newly painted part. There was also white dust all over the inside of my car, which has a black leather interior and upholstery. I wasn't too happy about having to deep vacuum the entire interior. The paint looked good but some spots were flawed because they didn't thoroughly remove the paint that was on there before. The paint seems really soft and thin and already has a scratch. Paint warranty only lasts a few years, so I guess I'll see how long it lasts. I'll post an update. read more

They repaired my vehicle as a vendor through Wesloh Chevrolet and the paint peeled immediately. When addressed they refused to speak to me to correct the problem. Bad business practice and terrible customer relations. I even spoke to one of the owners. Pretty funny response from the other owner now. The Wesloh service manager was quite surprised they wouldn't speak to me about my car. They made a bad judgment call and couldn't even defend themselves ... total bull! Are you seriously replying to me my name is not Vicki . I called the day I saw my car and we had been on the phone all day with you and the dealer trying to figure things out. Your wife was very rude to me and actually hung up on me instead of hearing me out. She pretty much shut me down immediately. Bad business practices, bad customer service! What privacy I had all the information it was my car? Really! I was just trying to bypass all the bureaucracy to give your company the opportunity to make it right. My car was hit in a parking lot and sustained a lot of damage. Unfortunately, the perpetrator did not leave a note. I took my car in for three different estimates, which ranged from $1,200 to $2,600. So I did a little more research and found CID on Nextdoor.com. They had many great reviews. So I took my car there and could not be happier with the results. They gave me a quote that seemed more reasonable than the others. They did not upsell me and did a terrific job at a cost much less than $2,600 but more than $1,200 which seemed appropriate. Their service was excellent! I hope that I never need their service again, but if I do need autobody service, I wouldn't begin to look elsewhere. I can't say enough positive things about CID. I had a 2010 RoadTrek motorhome that we needed to sell and while the inside was in very good condition, the outside had a few dings, faded/peeling decals, oxidized faded paint job, all moulding faded to almost a light gray from original black, rust in several areas and more (wheels, antennae bracket, etc). CID's quote was in the middle (not lowest and not highest) BUT they provided the most cogent itemized quote and took the time to discuss exactly what they would do with lucid explanations re the rust repair, decal removal, buffing, painting, etc. I chose CID over the others and am so glad I did. "Johnny" was true to his word and kept me informed during the almost two week process... allowing me to come and even play a role in certain decisions where more than one repair option was available to them. The result was unbelievable! It was quite literally like a new motorhome! Absolutely amazing. I placed the MH for sale in the RV Trader magazine and over one week had over 80 calls and the first two people that saw it gave full price offers. Thanks so much Johnny and CID. You would think that would be the end of the story, but it isn't! They had offered me a free detailing at 6 months and agreed that this can be conveyed to the buyer. Wow (although I doubt the buyer will make the long trip to take them up on it). With that experience, I thought to bring them my wife's LR4 Landrover for work on fender scratches and other bodywork. Just as with the motorhome, they provided a detailed quote and also gave me a 'repeat customer' discount. We got the LR4 back looking great... except that the rear ladder had not been worked on (sanded/painted). That surprised me and I asked about it. I had thought it was to be included on the work order. Johnny went over the work order and clearly it was NOT on either the quote or work order. It was simply a miscommunication. So I wanted CID to also perform that work and expected another charge of (who knows... perhaps up to ~$200). But Johnny said, "Look, don't worry about it. You're a good customer and hopefully you'll think of us for any future needs". Again: Wow. There's no doubt I'll think of CID in the future. Plus I'll recommend them to any of my friends... and that's why five stars here! read more
