Acai bowl, sub green smoothie
Jenny S.

Enjoyed my smoothie bowl from Fix & Repeat, Love that I was able to sub the base for The Standard (green smoothie) and opt out of the vanilla protein powder. It was perfect, just what I needed to start my work morning! Plenty of outdoor seating that we didnt have a chance to enjoy since we were on a time crunch

Creamsicle bowl

Yummmy!!! Had the creamsicle smoothly Bowl and it was delightful. Fresh strawberries, bananas, shredded coconut and goji granola on top and a generous portion of the smoothie. The flavor was orangey but in a subtle pleasant way. My daughter and I split a bowl. It was the perfect mid morning snack. The boy at the register was smiley, helpful and gave great service. We sat outside on the deck where it was sunny and inviting. The inside is bright and clean with scenic black and white prints. Tanner at Gearfix told us about the bowls. Thanks Tanner!!! We will be back!!!!

Delicious! We are so glad we stumbled upon this plant-based cafe. They have incredible foods - all vegan. Pastries, sandwiches, smoothies, açaí bowls, etc. Our favorite was the plant based waffles - a rare find for our family who can't eat dairy. Kind staff, clean tables, overall 10 out of 10!

Spiced burrito (cut in half) and Oatly Cold Brew Coffee. Half of what looks like rice is actually sauce with crunchy walnut bits.

Came back twice in one day, before and after a long hot hike . The smoothie bowls are basically ice cream for breakfast with lots of fruit topping plus granola. Delightful on a hot summery day. The CrossFix smoothie (with added peanut butter) hit the spot when I was craving a milkshake. Quinoa bowl (mostly hidden under the greens in photo) was a savory and flavorful mix of pesto and tahini and chickpeas which all created a gorgeous and deliciously nourishing meal. Service was super friendly and very efficient.

So this isn't my kind of place I would choose at first but in my group some people have many food allergies so this was a healthy choice. I had the green goddess salad and it was pretty good if you like this stuff. No meat sooo not my favorite but they have some bean to give you protein. The dressing was pasty but had enough to cover the whole salad. It was big so I could finish it all. I love the pitaya smoothie. Everything else was good according to my party. People here were friendly and delivered food fast.

What a gem! This food was AMAZING! it's not everyday I can find a delicious restaurant where it's safe to eat anything on the menu. Thank you for being perfect, Fix & Repeat!

Amazingly fresh and tasty! Great breakfast spot in Bend. ACV shot refreshing and lively tasting. Quinoa brittle was buttery with notes of nuttiness and cinnamon. The hot oatmeal bowl is pure deliciousness! Topped with granola, sliced bananas and peanut butter drizzle. Cool Apparel for sale too. Recommend fully!

One of the best coffee I've had in awhile! We ordered an oat milk latte and it was perfect.

Harvest bowl

Brilliant execution of rather simple vegan fare. I did an online order for lunch one day and my order was ready 20 minutes later. I got the Harvest Bowl ($14.50) and my wife got the BS Bagel Sando ($11.50). My bowl came with a wonderful mix of roasted butternut squash and chickpeas, roasted broccoli, and kale on a bed quinoa, and drizzled with a generous portion of tahini dressing. Everything was brilliant, despite that sounding quite simple in description. My wife was likewise super impressed with her bagel sandwich. The place looks like it'd be great for dine-in too -- located on a trendy block next to a brewery and winery tasting room. Friendly service. Highly recommended spot.

Avocado toast

Enjoyed our breakfast this morning here. The Rice bowl was delicious and serving size was just the right amount of food. My friend got the oatmeal and loved it. Now, our only complaint was the avocado toast and the way it was served. It was out in a box and nearly impossible to eat without ripping the box apart. However it was still tasty, just hard to eat.

Crossfix (left) and Amazon Berry (right)

This was a great little place that my daughter found as we made our way to the Redmond, OR airport. I thought this was just a smoothie place but it is so much more, you can get some light fare, bowls and smoothies. Oh, you want an adult drink or an espresso, they got you covered (check out my menu pics for more info). My daughter got the Crossfix and I had the Amazon berry. Both were excellent. Stop in and grab one of their excellent drinks or some of their food. We'll be back!

Ban Mi Bowl and tea

Sweet cafe with lots of clean and fresh food, juices, tea and even canned beer. A little slow during lunch time but worth the wait. I guess most locals order to go.

Cafe des Chutes - Drink Menu (Sept 2025)

Cafe des Chutes

Cafe des Chutes is a lovely spot with outdoor seating near several small stores and an artist…read morespace. The cafe itself is very small so plan to sit outside if you're dining in. We came here for a weekend lunch, ordered baguette sandwiches, coffees, and a hazelnut cookie. All were delicious and they had lots to choose from! We enjoyed walking around afterwards, as the area is perfect for a small outing and shopping. Lots of available free parking as well. We'll be back!

I looked around for something similar, but less the cardamon and came across Cafe des Chutes. We visited at 9 am on a Sunday and it wasn't too crowded at all, with only a single person ahead. They have plenty of seating and I think most people decide to eat their treats in the cafe; we had to hit the trail though, so we got ours to go to eat while hiking. Mango Sticky Rice Honey Glazed Croissant ($6.25) - Woah, this is an exceptionally sticky pastry, so sticky it's actually a little cumbersome to eat since the glaze spreads on any surface it touches and becomes very difficult to remove. The glaze tastes just like fresh honey - in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if it were mostly honey. There's not much mango flavor until closer to the center, along with another flavor of something very fragrant almost flowery They sprinkle coconut flakes on top, giving a somewhat fruity flavor. The croissant itself is very good - great crust, nicely flaky and crisp with a great texture on the interior, chewy and airy. The lamination seems to be good based on a cursory inspection, but I didn't have a sharp bread knife on me for a clean cut as I usually do. The pastry is very sweet and the glaze covers up the flavor of the croissant entirely. (5/5) Oregon Roll ($6.25) - This base, on the other hand, is really buttery, combining the great lamination, crispy and flaky, with great flavor. There's a fantastic honeycomb texture on the inside combined with the perfect chewiness. They do add a marionberry swirl on the interior, which is pretty obviously included in terms of color, but can't really be tasted on top of the croissant butteriness. On top, they spread a spiced hazelnut glaze, sweet and nutty, almost like peanut butter in texture mixed with butter. Delicious pastry overall. (5/5) Savory Bread Pudding ($10) - This is a super dense and heavy (in weight) bread pudding baked in a muffin mold. They offer to heat it up and it's a really good idea to eat this warmed. We opted to get it cold since we weren't going to eat it for a couple of hours (for a picnic lunch) and it basically wasn't edible, with super dense, bitter and stale tasting bread, making it hard to even stick a fork into the top. We ended up waiting until we got to the hotel room to heat it up the next morning for breakfast, which made it much more palatable. There's some mushroom essence with tons of black pepper and a dense yet pleasingly chewy bread. Cheese is baked on top and there's a little vegetal bitterness from spinach. Not rating this since we ate it the next day. Overall I enjoyed my treats from Cafe des Chutes. I would visit again the next time I'm in Bend. Bathrooms - Tiny room near the front. The water heater takes up some of the space inside, so it's quite warm in the room

We started with a beautiful bottle of Domaine Serene 2021 Pinot Noir... smooth, elegant, and the perfect pairing for everything that followed. I started with mussels and clams (seafood will always be my first pick) and scallops for my husband--both were incredible. For the main event, I had the blackened redfish (SO good) which is the best I have had outside of New Orleans and the steak lover went all in on the ribeye... and let's just say there were zero leftovers! Every bite was delicious, the atmosphere was perfect, and the best part? Our server Emily never missed a beat all night! If you're in Bend and looking for a fantastic night out--this is your spot. All the tables were full and it was a Monday night!

The menu isn't very large and I think we both settled on choices quickly, deciding to try the most "quintessential" entrees to share. I chose the Blackened Redfish, and my boyfriend the Jambalaya. Even though we had already decided, the waitress went on her whole spiel through the menu highlights, including what we had already had planned to order. Awkward, but it was fine, and we didn't stray from our original choices. The Blackened Redfish was perfectly cooked and flaky. It was served on a bed of mashed potatoes with a slightly tangy sauce. All of it was tasty, but I was a bit disappointed in the lack of spice to the blackening seasoning and the sauce. Also, serving it on grits instead of mashed potatoes would have made it feel 100% more Cajun, even with lack of seasoning. The Jambalaya fared a bit better, although my boyfriend was also left puzzled by the lack of spice to this classic dish. In all ways it was a very good representation of New Orleans style red jambalaya, with the andouille sausage being particularly notable for flavor. The cornbread it came with was pretty good. We shared a piece of chocolate cake for dessert. A very decadent concoction of chocolate, peanut butter, and caramel. It was one of the better $12 slices of cake I've had. Overall? The service was good, if not a bit awkward with the menu spiel. The food was all very well prepared, but for a Cajun style restaurant they sure could stand to spice things up a bit. It's not cheap, but at least the entrees are a full sized meal and you don't have to order many "tiny plates" to cobble together a dinner.
