I ended up taking some leftovers with me since I knew I was going to want to enjoy some of it for lunch the next day. The staff was absolutely wonderful. I never really like going to new restaurants and trying to figure everything out, but the staff was easy-going, and walked us through their process, the menu, and genuinely seemed like they are treated well. The dark roast drip and an iced vanilla latte did not last long, but both were exactly the companions that we needed to ford the miles through the wildfire smoke and down the other side of the mountains. The dark roast is exceptionally strong and bold but does not taste burnt. Settle it down with a splash of cream and you have an outstanding cup of coffee. The iced latte had just the right amount of espresso and went down fine, even with the ice. Friendly baristas and two drive-through windows make this Bend coffee stop a winner in my book.
