Checked this spot out because it's close to the house and noticed they had sausage gravy biscuits on the menu for a pretty good price! On my 1st visit, I decided to grab a ham and cheese croissant while I was trying out the gravy biscuits. Both were pretty decent for the price, kind of on par with a hotel breakfast quality-wise. I've been back multiple times since that 1st visit. While not the highest quality, it always satisfies the belly and the wallet. Roasted: stopped at this coffee shop in Bend. It's the typical drive up coffee window you see all over the northwest. Easy drive up next to the gas station. Extremely friendly barista working. Large menu with tons of flavor options. Obviously since it's a drive thru - all drinks are to go but the drinks were quite tasty though. Way too hot though - milk burned my tongue on the first sip and it was hard to hold since they didn't come with sleeves. Overall good coffee shop and I'd come back. Unroasted: first time trying a drive up coffee house and I would say it was a success. The staff was very friendly and answered our questions. The speed was pretty amazing. My latte was on point just a bit too hot. The flavor was spot on. Great job java jungle. read more

I'm not picky when it comes to what I order but I drive out of my way to see the girls at Java! Hannah & Austyn hold a very special place for me but honorable mentions are obviously Steph and Dani! They all make a point to make sure I 'taste test' and are happy to adjust it if I'd like. And to me, it's not a huge deal if its slightly different depending on who makes it- still nummy! I also think they have super powers because of just the sheer amount of peoples orders that they know by memory is INCREDIBLE and how well they work under pressure with the rushes they get into because obviously everyone comes to their shop! Now we have a fun game where I dont even order & they surprise me with one of my favorite drinks- It really is the best start to my day! Thanks gals, you're the BEST!! read more

Someone should help this business owner. Maybe the Chamber of commerce can reach out. Apparently she owns two shops in the area. JJ's and Java Jungle. Do you give business owners work shops on leadership? Here is the situation: The language and conversation witnessed was inappropriate! The way she was talking about another member of her crew. It was like a scene from 'Mean Girls' I was wondering the age of this woman and if it had been awhile since she was a middle school girl. I have never seen an employer treat an employee like this. It was embarrassing and unprofessional. I hope somehow she gets some direction and can improve her customer service and people skills. I am wondering how many of her crew have worked there longer than a couple months. No way would I allow my young adult child to stay in a place and work under someone with this poor character. So come on Bend Business Community, please help this business owner realize how this attitude effects visitors and regular patrons decision to go to a local business or a chain for friendly service. Mmmm. . .whatever I am craving, Java Jungle seems to have. From coffee drinks like lattes, frappes, Italian sodas and smoothies to munchies like bagels and now the collaboration with Too Sweet Cakes Bakery goodies gives many choices on Bend's South Side. All in one little drive through coffee stand! This morning I had a chocolate pb banana protein smoothie for breakfast and my daughter had what she said is the best chocolate chip cookie ever (from Too Sweet Cakes). Yum! read more

I finally got out of my car and went up to the window to ask if she would please take my order. She gave me a dirty look so I said never mind , I will go somewhere else. I hate to leave a bad review, but dang. I'm in town for the weekend and like to support local businesses, so I decided to stop here for an oat milk mocha. I literally could not drink it. One sip and all it tasted like was burnt, bitter, nasty espresso. Didn't taste like chocolate at all, or even oat milk. My boyfriend tried it and thought the same. It left a really bad taste on the back of our tongues for at least 15 minutes. There was a lack of customer service, just the girls talking to each other in the stand. I'm really disappointed cause now I have to go to Starbucks. read more

My husband loves the peanut butter and banana blended mochas, as well as the cookies and cream blended coffees with real Oreo's. They really do use the best ingredients.
