Food is tasty, healthy and fresh, and the space is cute and clean. Rawkin tacos are particularly flavorful, and not something I'd typically whip up at home. It's expensive though, and there's a shocking 4% charge to pay by credit card. Arrived in Bend starving and craving something healthy. Came across Salud thanks to all you Yelpers! it's a little hard to find as the big remax building is noticeable from the street and Salud is slightly tucked away. But keep looking as it's a gem. They let you turn any smoothie into a bowl with customized toppings of your choice. Though remember it is smoothie consistency vs an acai like consistency. The family ordered 3 bowls, each with a different smoothie base and all were excellent. I ordered the sweet toast (peanut butter, honey and cinnamon) and my husband ordered the savor toast (argula, avocado and tomato with this out of this world vegan cesar dressing - seriously, it's soooooo good!). Favorite spot in Bend. The best food that leaves you feeling so good after. People are always so nice in there. The Cesar salad is so good! The wontons, soups and bison broth are too. Seeking some truly healthy grub on our recent long stint in Oregon, we were craving organic fresh pressed juice and some healthier food items for a clean lunch. Had a green juice, a raw salad, their vegan egg burrito and a collard wrap-they use giant collard green leaves as the wrap for their sandwiches-genius and so darn good. If you're in the mood for truly healthy raw food, this is your place. The owner is a young girl who works mostly solo in the cafe so you must be patient for your food and drink. Had the spicy Tuna Rawl! BOMB!! Just went vegetarian a few weeks ago actually and never was a fan of fake meat but the walnut tuna is bomb AF! The nori roll was super moist as well and the whole thing was pretty stacking. Nice to not feel like I have a 5 pound food baby in my stomach and want to take a nap after my meal. It just couldn't be any better. Maybe bigger but then it might lose some of its charm. Over 2 days we had: Juices: It's All Green and Emerald Fire Salads, entrees: Say "Ole'" Tacos, Greek Salad, Over the Moon Medicinal Latte Wow. The Over the Moon may have been our least fave but maybe by a millimeter. We were saying "Ole!" with everything else. Fresh, delightful dressings and sauces, the juices were super, super yum and fresh. Corrine and her staff seem dedicated to health and serving awesome healthy food. Wish we could go there every day! Walked in and walked out. People making the food weren't masked, and I doubt they were vaccinated either. Given the blatant disregard to customer safety, I wouldn't be surprised if hand washing before making food was also over looked. It's too bad, since the food looks good. First...Wow. Then, I should start with I'm not vegan, I just like many different types of food. And coffee. I'm a bit of a coffee snob to be honest, so I'm more critical in that regard. We plugged in gluten free to the Googles in the morning as we were headed home after a concert the night before and we didn't have a lot of time. This popped up open so we checked it out with no real expectations. Hippy food joints have often been disappointing. The pretension of your food being moral somehow increasing its flavor doesn't work for me if it doesn't actually taste good. Walking in it was a small homey atmosphere with charming ladies busy as bees behind the counter who patiently allowed us to get our bearings. Everything sounded good on the board so we picked three to share and a coffee each. A note on hippy coffee ; It's usually pretty bad here in Oregon (I'm definitely from Washington in these moments). Usually people are trying too hard to be different and it's a gross end. I'm not looking for Starbucks or I'd go to one, but it still has to be palatable to be a win. We got the coffee first and it was so good I rationed it so I could have one last sip after our meal. Seriously delectable. I considered a relationship with this coffee. I wanted to give it my number. The food was also wonderful. Not even 'for vegan food it was good', it's just really good. And it's clean so you don't feel weighed down or like you're sweating anything you shouldn't after. We stuffed our faces with good sized portions and left full and ready to tackle the trip home. Even picked up a couple chocolate bars made with no processed sugar that ended up being divine halfway home. Anyway, big recommend. All thumbs up. Make a point of it read more

Wow! I heard about Salud a month or so ago but only just tried it today. When I moved here I was so bummed that there was only one vegan place (Sarah's - which I love!!) for such a forward thinking community.... Well no more! Salud is here and I plan on frequenting it enough to keep it in business :) I tried the Thai Salad which was so delicious and really hit the spot after a work out. I also couldn't resist trying one of their desserts -an almond butter filled cacao heart.... Be still MY heart. I think it may have been filled with dates too, yumm. The prices are pretty high but you are getting high quality fresh produce so I think it's worth it. They not only have food but they have juices too. There was a hot ginger cardamom cider that was tempting me but I resisted..... Everything is raw, everything is vegan.... I imagine from my experience today everything is delicious too! read more
