So I've been looking forward to trying this dum sum food truck for awhile. When it moved to Silver Moon Brewing, my husband picked up our large order of har gow (shrimp dumpling), shu mai, bbq pork bun and pork/veg dumplings. If you've never had dim sum before, you may enjoy it more than I did here. I grew up eating dim sum and have missed it dearly since we moved. Gar gow: 2/5* skin wasnt chewy enough, small amount of shrimp inside Shu mai: 1/5* I believe this has been through worst shu mai I've ever had. It was smaller and the meat appeared to be over mixed and dense, with some odd chunks of pork and lacked the plump, fatty pork im used to. Bbq pork bun: prob one of the best things we had. The dough was soft but little denser than I'm used to. The filling was decent. 4/5 Pork dumplings: surprisingly good. Meat and veggie seasoned well. I just didn't understand the sweet chili dipping sauce that came with it.. it masked the flavor of the dumplings. I prefer soy vinegar sauce. 4/5 Honestly, I felt some of the dim sum felt frozen store bought like. But perhaps they make it and freeze it before steaming? I hope they make it but I just didn't care for it. read more

They just opened in Bend at the Veterinary Referral Center of Central Oregon! I had the vegetable and chicken dumplings. SO delicious, and they put it in foil for you so it stays warm. I got the sweet chili sauce with it. They were so friendly and inviting! I will definitely be back. read more
