I requested and received a quote quickly via text. Stopped in on a Friday to confirm the cost and availability. The corrected cost for the bed liner was $795 as we have an 8 ft bed and it has a 5th wheel puck. We were able to schedule our appointment for the following Tuesday at 0800. I was able bring it in and was told it would take 5-6 hours. They quickly took it back after taking photos and finished in 5. They sent me out to inspect the job before taking payment to make sure that I was happy with the product. It looked wonderful and will protect the bed while we travel. Recently took my car over to Sami and the guys at 5 star after some clown crashed my car. I was really nervous knowing how much damage was done and if the color would match and panels be straight. After speaking with Sami we agreed to get the work done and he kept in touch through the whole process sending pictures and text regarding work being done. Once I received the call to get my car back I was shocked on how it looked. Glossy wet clear, paint on point, panels line up, couldn't even tell the car was wrecked. This is based of their response to my call- work is still pending I had been in an accident and insurance didn't really give clear directions - made it sound like I just took it anywhere and then they would come - I wanted to get it fixed asap and get it back hopefully before retiring to work - so I went to the Yelp / google and this was one of the first to pop up so I called and the person I spoke with was so calming, informative and helpful ! He even stopped prior to ending the call to confirm I was okay and everything else was alright - I was so shocked and appreciative of that and that bit really stuck with me !!! This place is something else. At first I wondered why they would put the question "first/second/third estimate" on their application prior to servicing. Situation: 5 mile Corolla front end damage into truck when light turned green, truck didn't move, I was distracted and rear ended truck. First they gave me an estimate of 2g's turned in tues, estimated given time thurs. Fast forward to next week, they charge 3k total for further damages found. i asked for a discount of 1-2 hundred dollars..prior to returning vehicle to enterprise. I should have asked for more...rental total days 17 days~1.4K total...compared to Tues-Thurs 4 days estimate. After hearing my side of the story, associate states "after all the parts and labor, there wouldn't be much left.." ...gtfo... don't get me wrong they did a great job, with a warranty of lifespan of the vehicle. but 1-2 hundred off will really put a dent in the business..after marker parts. For 2010 Corolla. I mean..."there won't be much left," right? It's their business. But that's some hsit. First off, don't give me that estimate if you're going to over shoot 13 days. And delay d/t rain? I get the delay, but to over shoot it by that many days, is just wrong. The most stressful part about it, is not knowing when your car will be done. I made an appointment to have my truck bed sprayed with Toff liner and was told to arrive at 8:00am Monday. When I arrived after an hour drive I was told their new spray tent was not ready. Proper customer service would have been to have called the customer ahead of time, so they don't waste their time driving 2 hours and taking time away from work for nothing, especially if thew knew about it over the weekend. Had an accident last year and it was a nightmare to get my truck back. It was a brand new RAM. I went through a ton of headache to get the repairs done. They said a lot of the delays were due to insurance which was a lie considering my claims adjuster forwarded me all of the paperwork they had emailed over to them. Even after that it turned into a 3-month wait. Granted there were a lot of supply chain issues but the problem here is, that the "parts not coming in" excuse was only used half the time. The "insurance not approving repairs" was a lie. And then they constantly told me towards the end, "it will be ready Wednesday, Friday, next Friday." When I finally got it back, the truck wasn't even working properly. I had to take it to the dealership because I didn't want to deal with them anymore. The dealership made programming adjustments that, in their defense, they said that five star would not be able to make. But the problem is, they are owned by the RAM dealer so they should have known that. They also didn't bother to replace the battery in the accident so the truck kept dying, the Service Manager at the dealership was really great and got everything handled for me same day and even stayed a little after closing. But honestly the repair experience was horrible. Lastly, I didn't realized until a few months ago when I went to use the windshield wipers, that they cut the line during repairs when they swapped out the hood, which has to happen. But they never went back to repair it, so of course I had to do that myself since it had been almost 6 months since I had gotten the truck back. I got my truck back in December of last year. So why wait almost 12 months to post this review? Well, because in spite of all that: #1 I was worried that if I had any warranty issues with their repairs, that they would not want to help me out if I left an honest review on yelp. #2 I have never had an accident or repair needed in my life, so I really had already heard horror stories from most repair shops and figured this was more or less the experience you would get anywhere. Benefit of the doubt I guess. However, as fate would have it, I had a minor accident last month that needed repairs and I took it to another body shop which had me in and out faster than they originally quoted me, handled everything completely opposite and was thoroughly amazing. Seeing the difference in professionalism and just overall experience made me realize how bad this place truly is. Lastly, I want to make clear that this isn't a knock on the RAM dealership itself since their service department has always been absolutely amazing. AND, I know business owners have to do their due diligence, so before they respond to this review and call out any nonsense, just remember, I refrained from using any names but I kept all the receipts and emails to prove everything I wrote. read more

I was a loyal customer for 20 plus years; NO LONGER!! I recently paid for a complete repaint on my car. The car had paint flaws, the finish on one panel looked like the skin of an orange! The shop manager's excuse was the panel is made of fiberglass. Some parts were installed incorrectly and damaged durning the installation process.The manager refused to correct any of the paint and panel problems. when i came out of store someone had hit my bumper on the left-hand side. I took my car to Five-star auto body [not the one insurance co recommended me too]. Five-star auto insisted on knowing how much my insurance company had reimbursed me for repairs. When i inquired as to why they needed it they said i had to come home and retrieve that document. Once i asked for clarity It was obvious that they wanted to know as to the total amount that my insurance had reimbursed me. Five-star wanted to raise their initial estimate to match my reimbursement. This amount for repairs had nothing to do with the cost of repairs, they just wanted to Fraudulently maximize their estimate to my reimbursement. Within 2 hours they called and raised their estimate saying I needed a new bumper cover. They also needed my car for four business days. Not once did they mention they would supply a rental. This job should've taken one business day to repair. During the estimate we indicated we wanted our damaged bumper returned to us, and they were not happy. When we picked up our car and our old bumper the dent was already popped out and tagged (year and model). Five-star intended to keep our old bumper cover and use it on another job. We discovered that it did not need to be replaced. It could have been easily repaired. However, when they called us to raise our estimate their reason to raise the estimate was because my car needed a new Bumper cover. Stay away from this garage. There is a valid reason why my insurance company doesn't contract with them. read more

We used Five Star years ago to repair our Mazda and they did such a great job that we brought our van over. They will order the parts and call us. Well, we haven't heard from them so my husband called. The lady he spoke to told my husband he has to pay for the parts they ordered. Of course my husband said "no". The insurance is supposed to cover the charges and they should contact them. She finally said" are you going to pay for it?" My husband said "no" again and she just hung up! My husband and I were rear ended out of state and needed a local body shop to fix our car. Rene from 5 star auto body came highly recommended so I called and spoke with Denise. I asked her a dozen questions and I appreciated her honesty. She even told me to call the insurance company to confirm some issues before we took the car in because she didn't want us to get stuck with a rental car bill. We took the car in on a Friday with a supplemental quote from another shop. Jillian informed us that once the car was taken apart there will be other issues that will need to be dealt with but they would handle that directly with the insurance company. It was important to us that the car was fixed with original OEM parts, we didn't want after market parts. We wanted to be made whole, not worse off then we were. I mean isn't that the whole point of having insurance? We specifically told her that we wanted Rene to work on our car especially because we have heard other customers unsatisfactory remarks about this shop. I went in Thursday to look at the car and speak to Rene, and she looked at me like I was crazy and responded, "Ohhhh K". Rene came into the lobby and I asked him about the car and he had no idea that he was requested for this work. I was really upset because the ONLY reason we took it to this shop is because Rene was highly recommended. I went back into the office and told Jillian that I was upset because he wasn't working on the car. She stated that she didn't know I only wanted Rene working on the car. After I reminded her about the conversation we had when my husband and I dropped the car off, she then began to say that Rene was working on a big project. I told her I would have waited until he was available. It wasn't until then that she apologized. Rene offered to supervise the work that was being done from now on and told me that the guy who was working on it, Junior, was a good technician and could handle the work because it wasn't extensive damage. The car was in the shop for almost 2 weeks and when I went to pick it up it looked beautiful. Rene came outside and explained to me the work that was done. He was very confident that the work was top notch and informed me that he double and tripled check everything. Denise went through the paperwork with me and even broke down the financials which I appreciated. My problem with this shop is Jillian, who was dishonest by saying she would have Rene work on the car. If he wasn't going to work on it we would have taken our business elsewhere. If a customer is coming to the shop with a high recommendation of one of the technician's it is because his work is good and can be trusted. read more

I fail to see how 3:30 is late when you close at 5:30pm Anyways, I went here to fix my door handle that broke off when I tried to open my car, they damaged the switch plate for automatic locks and windows and now it won't stick down. I have to get a whole new door panel put on my car for all the damage they did trying to repair a simple handle. Unbelievable. I have been trying to be very patient but I can't any more. Every time I call to get an update on my car I get a run around, they say they will call back but don't. I called they transferred me to a voicemail, called right back ignored my call (they have caller ID so they know it was me) called back the girl (with attitude) says they guy I need to talk to must have walked away, I said I will wait on hold until he comes back. As I was on hold I decided to drive to the shop still on hold as I walked in, and isn't it funny how the guy I was waiting for is in the office?!? I was told last week my car would be ready today, now they are saying another week! My car has been there for over two months already.
