    water destroyed package tray due to improper installation of stainless

    I've posted prior to this post that AV collision, under Jesse Elonzondo was working with me to repair damages caused by poor workmanship. Well I finally pulled the car from AV collision for many reasons. 1. Every time they painted the car, cracks emerged. Their response was that they had no one at the shop to do proper repairs and they wanted to send the car to a sub contractor. I said no way was my car leaving that lot. Finally, I found a painter who Jesse paid to redo their work. While mysubcontractor did a poor job on drivers side of car, I finally took it to another shop to complete. Recently, we discovered that hardware on passenger door was missing. More excuses. It's been one excuse after another. But in the end, their body and paint work and assembly was horrible. Now, we discovered recently that on the passenger side door, their was hardware missing. I'm told by Jesse that because I had another person work on the car that the warranty was voided. I disagree because that person, never touched the passenger door. Paint or hardware. then, Jesse painted the drivers door because their techs reversed the holding stainless pins and each pin had spiral cracks. So another issue caused by AV auto body. Another factor. My 57 chevy sat in and outside on shop grounds, through the heat of 4 summers. so many mechanical issues developed. Most of which were denied by AV collision. Just recently, my mechanic took apart both doors only to find missing adjustment window screws. It cost me 1150 dollars. Of course AV denies this and says I voided the warranty. Well, that's just a short story on my 57 bel air. I also had AV repaint my 64 station wagon. recently, I tried to tighten the roof rack hold down screws. But they just spun. my mechanic just showed me the screws that AV used. all were too small. Next. They painted the car. there are two spots of cracked paint. I asked Jesse to repair. He said there was rust on the roof. I was never told this. But of course they said I was. Now these are my investments. Why would a professional body shop paint over rust????? The story goes on and on but again. my 57 sat, mostly outside at first in the hot summer sun, for years. I even went up and witness the the cracking of the rear deck. I was told it was like that when brought in. B.S. Plus. They removed the glass, prior to painting. WEll the front windshield leaked during wash and the Air conditioner module shorted out. 1100 dollars. The rear stainless was not properly installed, thus water also leaked in on the package tray and destroyed the material. They did pay for this but again, Poor workmanship. Next: I brought my 73 Ford pick up to AV due to a slight accident. Upon inspection, the drivers side paint was all cracked. Again, they placed the blame elsewhere. I'm finally tired of their excuses and undelivered promises as far as when my vehicles would be ready. My 5 7 sat at his shop for well over 4 years. That should say it all.

    Damaged

    I want to thank Jesse and his team tor repairing my car, they were very respectful and friendly to me I've never dealt with such a professional shop. As far as the repair goes 10/10 couldn't even tell the car was repaired. I can't recommend them enough exceeded my expectations. My go to shop from now on.

    Took them about a month to fix my 2016 Honda Civic but it was due to parts being limited apparently but I'm not worried! Insurance covered a rental for the mean time. Spoke to them on the phone 3 times but overall super happy with the quality of work! Even though they're closed Saturdays, one of the managers, I want to say his name was Jesse not too sure, came to the shop so I can get my car. Would recommend them to anyone out here

I fully expected to pay, but since it was part of what was replaced, they stood by their warranty. They didn't give me any attitude when I called and asked, didn't argue and was incredibly nice throughout everything. My car is a bit older and took a little bit longer to get a part but they even called me to let me know they didn't forget about me. They're super friendly, informative and I totally get the 'we're all family here' without being a scary cult vibe. I'll forever recommend anyone going there. I've sent my husband and mom there for when they got rear-ended (we live in the AV it's a rite of passage at this point). We're all thrilled (as we can for being in an accident of course). You guys are amazing. Thank you for being so kind and having personality. The two ladies in the office are incredibly sweet, Jose (gosh I hope that was his name) made me laugh and was so nice. You guys all are the absolute best. Hopefully I won't see y'all soon but if I do, I know I'm in the best hands!

Our vehicle has…read morebeen in their possession since an August 2025 accident, and we received it back once but had to send it back shortly after due to ongoing issues caused after their repairs. First, we were told the used turbo they installed was faulty. Insurance approved and paid for a replacement. Then we were told the catalytic converter was damaged due to the failed turbo -- insurance paid for that as well. When we were supposed to pick up the car again, there was no communication. After we followed up, we were suddenly told by Jessica the engine is now blown, allegedly due to damage from the turbo failure. Insurance denied that claim. Jessica stated she did not trust her own mechanic and wanted Ford to provide a second opinion, repeatedly assuring us nothing would be out of pocket. However, we later received a call from the dealership after they towed it there saying we would now need to authorize and pay until fault was determined -- completely contradicting what we were told. Communication has been inconsistent and unprofessional. At one point Jessica spoke negatively about her own mechanic, then later changed her position. When we asked for clarification, she was loud, argumentative, and accusatory instead of helpful. We have been without our vehicle for months and still lack clear answers or full documentation. I would strongly caution anyone considering this shop. I don't know how this shop was rated best in the AV! No manager has reached out to us during this process and their employee Jessica is rude, yells at customers, and hangs up the phone rather than take any accountability for the failed information she provided. We are still waiting for Jose the manager to contact us. Jessica stated we can talk to him or we can come into office to talk to her directly which we took as a threat. I am Looking into an attorney if things do not get resolved or explained and would recommend any shop then this one if you can!!
