I've posted prior to this post that AV collision, under Jesse Elonzondo was working with me to repair damages caused by poor workmanship. Well I finally pulled the car from AV collision for many reasons. 1. Every time they painted the car, cracks emerged. Their response was that they had no one at the shop to do proper repairs and they wanted to send the car to a sub contractor. I said no way was my car leaving that lot. Finally, I found a painter who Jesse paid to redo their work. While mysubcontractor did a poor job on drivers side of car, I finally took it to another shop to complete. Recently, we discovered that hardware on passenger door was missing. More excuses. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's been one excuse after another.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But in the end, their body and paint work and assembly was horrible. Now, we discovered recently that on the passenger side door, their was hardware missing. I'm told by Jesse that because I had another person work on the car that the warranty was voided. I disagree because that person, never touched the passenger door. Paint or hardware. then, Jesse painted the drivers door because their techs reversed the holding stainless pins and each pin had spiral cracks. So another issue caused by AV auto body. Another factor. My 57 chevy sat in and outside on shop grounds, through the heat of 4 summers. so many mechanical issues developed. Most of which were denied by AV collision. Just recently, my mechanic took apart both doors only to find missing adjustment window screws. It cost me 1150 dollars. Of course AV denies this and says I voided the warranty. Well, that's just a short story on my 57 bel air. I also had AV repaint my 64 station wagon. recently, I tried to tighten the roof rack hold down screws. But they just spun. my mechanic just showed me the screws that AV used. all were too small. Next. They painted the car. there are two spots of cracked paint. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked Jesse to repair. He said there was rust on the roof. I was never told this[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. But of course they said I was. Now these are my investments. Why would a professional body shop paint over rust????? The story goes on and on but again. my 57 sat, mostly outside at first in the hot summer sun, for years. I even went up and witness the the cracking of the rear deck. I was told it was like that when brought in. B.S. Plus. They removed the glass, prior to painting. WEll the front windshield leaked during wash and the Air conditioner module shorted out. 1100 dollars. The rear stainless was not properly installed, thus water also leaked in on the package tray and destroyed the material. They did pay for this but again, Poor workmanship. Next: I brought my 73 Ford pick up to AV due to a slight accident. Upon inspection, the drivers side paint was all cracked. Again, they placed the blame elsewhere. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'm finally tired of their excuses and undelivered promises as far as when my vehicles would be ready.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My 5 7 sat at his shop for well over 4 years. My truck was sent to this shop to be fixed after it was broken into. They had it parked for 3 weeks in an unsecured Park and Ride lot across the street from their shop and it was STOLEN. The shop is deferring to their insurance who refuses to cover the loss. The truck was recovered and is in an impound lot and the shop and insurance feel that it is MY responsibility to get my truck out, even though it was stolen while it was in their possession. I absolutely do not recommend a business that treats people like this. read more

Honestly wouldn't even rate them but it wouldn't let me put my review unless I did I used them ONCE before my most recent encounters with them, thinking I'd have the same experience & body was I wrong. NEVER again. They kept my car for over two months with no truthful follow up. When I received our car back, it barely made it home & wouldn't turn on anymore. Not to mention the car was driven 1,000 miles more when we finally received it. One of the workers there has openly admitted that he previously has over 10 years of experience working as an insurance adjuster so no doubt they messed with our paperwork & knew EXACTLY what to put to ensure they held no liability for the condition of our car. I'll be doing my best to ensure legally, they pay for it. Took my car to another body shop/repair shop & they said EVERYTHING was Mickey-moused. Nothing was done as if professionals did it. Took my car here, but a small dent went through my insurance company instead of them doing a dent less repair they did a paint repair along with the removing the dent it was the most crappy job I've seen I've been getting my car wash. They were able to tell that my car had been painted and buffed took it to the dealer that was able to tell my car was painted and buff a 2021 Honda Accord brand new and they painted my car. It was the most crappy job for a small dent, I would not recommend this place to no one and I will be contacting my insurance company read more

Well so I brought my car here insurance recommendation second day driving the car the front bumper they were supposed to fix it came off they didn't fix any of the scratches they took the same console out and then then put it back in or the bolts back in it this is was a bad experience and I wouldn't recommend AV collision to anyone I guess it was a learning experience and I hope to help other people with my experience take your car somewhere else read more

Took them about a month to fix my 2016 Honda Civic but it was due to parts being limited apparently but I'm not worried! Insurance covered a rental for the mean time. Spoke to them on the phone 3 times but overall super happy with the quality of work! Jesse is the man! Jesse gave me a very reasonable estimate for mechanical work online without any hassle compared to several other repair services. I decided to give them a shot after the dealer tried to gouge me and based on the level of service that Jesse provided from the start. AV collision exceeded my expectations. The entire staff was great to work with and I wasn't gouged for the repairs needed. They didn't try to add on unnecessary repairs or feed me bs. In fact, one of the initial items I requested was determined unnecessary and removed from the work order. My car was done before I expected and they even washed it. This doesn't happen when you pay double the cost at the dealership for repairs. Absolutely horrible workmanship! I took my truck in to have a paint job done on it and it took them a year to get it done and not only did it take that long but the workmanship is horrible. I got my truck back after having to make numerous calls for them to get it done and also my truck looks like crap. The bodywork is already cracking, the paint was never completely color sanded and buffed, my doors would not lock, overspray all over the truck (inside and out)and the wiring to the back of my truck has had to be repaired from when they put it back together after re-installing the bed. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. My truck is now in another shop getting repaired where i should of taken it to begin with. If you want a crap job then go here. If you want a good job then go somewhere else. My insurance and i myself wasted thousands of dollars. HORRIBLE!!!! read more

This is the first time using this shop and my experience has been excellet!. I got into an accident with a brand new 2016 Camry SE, with only 500 miles on the odometer. My insurance recommended them and I was so upset at the accident that I did not care where they took my car. They offered very friendly and honest customer service, their estimate came out to 13k, before they even opened the hood. My car had sustained significant damage on the front as I hit a Big Rig on the 14th Freeway. My car took aproximately 1 month, they provided 2 updates every week, on how the car status was and the progress it was making. Audry was very helpful and polite, and able to answer my questions when ever I had any. My car took 3 days after the estimated timeframe and the shop provided me with a car rental at no cost to me for the inconvenience, nobody does that for what I know, usually people just give excuses for keeping the car but they offered the rental and of course I accepted. the rental experience was hassle free with picking me up from my home all the way to the shop to pick up my car after the 3 days. When I received my car it was in perfect condition, as if nothing had happened, I was super happy with the work that was done. I even had money laying around in the cabin and everything that I left in the car, was exactly where I left it. Its hard to find people that honest to their work. So I'm not your typical Auto Body Shop customer. I've been working in the Film Industry for 40 years as an Art Director, consequently I've literally had several dozens of cars painted or customized to meet the needs of a Film I was working on. Sometimes it was simple, like turning a worn-out Taxi into a Cop Car to crash or blow it up for the Film. Other times it was to make an exact "duplicate" of a car in order to have a "Back-Up" of the Hero's car (the Yellow Ferrari in "The Rock"). That being said, this place is just FANTASTIC! Steve was our Service coordinator, and he treated me like I was an old Friends and (get this) we got our X5 back nearly a week before it was promised! Seriously, I couldn't believe it! And as if that wasn't enough, the Interior had been Detailed! If I could give these guys TEN Stars... I would! read more

Customer service was good, but the repairs and paint not so much. I was rear ended and decided to use them as they are fairly close to my work. When dropping my car off I mentioned that it looked pretty bad and probably needed replacing. I was told that if it needed to be it would, but that they could most likely fix it. So some days later I was called and told it was done so I returned my rental and got a ride there. First mistake, I should have swung by and checked before. When I got there there were still small cracks in the bumper, the trunk wasn't completely straightened out, and the bumper color was off. I didn't want to pick it up, but since the rental car place was closed and I had to get home I took the car with the promise if I brought it back they would fix it. About a month or so later I brought it back. The guy up front remembered me and helped to arrange a rental car (at their expense). After waiting a few days I was told it was done again. This time I swung by after work but it was dark. It looked OK so I left the rental and took my car. While all the other stuff was fixed (they ended up having to replace the bumper) the color match is crap. It is a totally different color. At this point I had enough. I have come to live with my now two tone paint job, but have told everyone I know to go elsewhere. While they try to make it right, it shouldn't take so many tries. I suggest looking elsewhere for you body and paint work. read more
