In short, great work for honest prices. My wife and I purchased a used Honda Fit in early 2016. Unfortunately we believe the car is cursed - we were hit three times while we weren't even moving in the same year. Two of the incidents were fairly major and required panel replacement as well as frame realignments. We have AAA auto insurance and California Collision Center is one of their preferred shops so we decided to try them out. Took my MINI here after it was rear ended. I have AAA for auto insurance and they are a AAA shop, so they were able to deal with all of the insurance issues internally which was quite nice. The damage wasn't very major, but it was to a plastic part (Rear bumper cover) I assumed would need replaced. But, they were able to repair the existing part and match paint the metallic finish such that it was completely invisible. Plus, everyone was very nice to deal with. A few years ago I bought a Chevy Silverado 1500 that had been a contractors truck. The pickup bed was trashed. I could not get a used 8 ft bed or a new bed. So I bought all the pieces to construct a new bed except the floor. They put it all together like new. I have had several people try to buy it. Last week my new tow dolly which had been stolen was badly damaged. The left fender was badly bent up, the support was bent for the fender, the left loading ramp was twisted and bent preventing the ramp from swiveling during tow operations, the right fender had some minor damage. after they fixed it almost looks Like new. I don't write reviews often, but when I do, it's because I really like a company or it's because I think the company has a lot of room for improvement. This review is about the former case - a great company. I am so extremely impressed with Tony and thus with California Collision Center. I brought my car over yesterday for an estimate and while the estimate came under what some competitors were asking, it was still too high for my taste. He was quoting me based on getting new body parts that may or may not have been necessary. After I left, I review the quote more in depth and I thought that maybe I can talk to Tony and see what we can do to do only what was absolutely necessary since insurance wouldn't cover me for the work. I brought my car in to Tony today and we took a look at the car out there in the heat. He asked me to pop my hood and we looked inside the car and underneath the car and on the side of the car right there in the parking lot in the blistering heat. We talked about what the minimal work that was necessary would be to get my car back to a good point. We were able to reduce the original quote by 95% (from over $1,000 to under $100). I am so thankful for him. To further the point about integrity: a woman who worked there told an older gentleman that she didn't want him to get a rental car especially if he wasn't sure whether the insurance company would pay for the rental. She said that his car was driveable for now. It's great that they look out for the customer. As Tony mentioned to me, I also love it that the owner is a military veteran. My recent visit to the CA. Collision Center was outstanding! I needed to get my passenger side headlight replaced after I side-swiped an abandoned couch that was in the middle of my lane on 50th Street West between Ave's H and I. Jenn B. did a superior job helping me. They even popped out my front passenger door so I could open it and did this free of charge. Another collision place I went to wouldn't fix what I wanted to get repaired and quoted me $3,400.00 to fix my car from the front of the car to the rear of the car. I can't afford that and my insurance will not pay it because I only have liability insurance. CA. Collision Center repaired what I wanted to get repaired and did it for under $300.00. Thanks CA. Being Thanksgiving and I have been remiss from writing this note since they fixed my 2001 Boxster to look brand new. The Boxster had extensive damage in rear quarter panel as it had 1 huge hole, one small hole and some fender damage from vandalism. It looked like it would be impossible to fix without putting in a new quarter panel. Insurance company did not provide an estimate that would cover the cost of the repair. Tony was awesome in working with the insurance company and they fixed the car with some magical methods as they were able to piece the metal together, weld(I guess) and new paint job. In addition, they were able to clean up the bumper as now the car looks brand new. I highly recommend this company as all the employees I talked with were friendly, helpful and very professional. They accidentally gave me a date to bring the car in which was 2-3 weeks earlier than they really intended but they were good on their word, took the car and fixed it within a week or so.
