It's simple, messy, and filling without being overwhelming. Now let's talk about the fries because the "little" Cajun fries are anything but little. They fill the cup and dump a generous extra portion straight into the bag. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and coated in that addictive Cajun seasoning. Every time I walk into this place, I immediately regret it. First off, it's freezing inside--like uncomfortably cold. Not exactly the vibe you want when you're trying to sit down and enjoy a burger. The staff comes off disengaged and hard to communicate with. Orders feel like a struggle, and there's zero sense of urgency--even when the place is completely empty. Somehow, you're still waiting way longer than you should for something as simple as a burger and fries. Are all of the workers on meth? Or a product of meth? And then the food finally comes out... and it's just not good. For what you're paying, it's a massive letdown. Came here on a weekday evening and was immediately welcomed in. There were a few diners dining in and customers/or food delivery service picking up. This store is clean. Service at the front counter was kind and polite. The "little" burger for me is actually a regular sized single patty. While waiting, the free peanuts are nice. The burger is not bad but not great. Solid Lunch option if craving burgers and fries. Especially if you don't have time to wait in line for in n out. Tried Five Guys for the first time in decades, and the first time on the west coast. Previously, had only eaten here in NYC and only to grab free bags of peanuts to be eaten at Yankees games. While peanuts are still free, the food leaves a bit to be desired. The burger is fine but nothing spectacular. If you enjoy a saucy burger with customization ie android phones with widgets, then this place is for you. But I'm an iPhone user who likes simplicity. No bells and whistles. I much prefer burgers from in n out or the habit. Fries salted and Cajun smell fantastic and taste great. Personally liked them over in n out fries and sadly even McDonald's fries which have gone downhill recently. The classic combo meal is the best deal definitely save a few bucks instead of buying individually. Lemonade is only .40 upgrade over water or coke. read more

During my most recent visit to Five Guys, I noticed a new offering: a combo meal consisting of a "little burger", a small serving of fries, and a small fountain drink for $12.99. As stated in a previous post, I rarely order fries at Five Guys. Even the smallest serving on the menu board is too much for me. I would only eat 25% of it. Based on the poster, Five Guys can serve a sample serving of fries. I think they should come up with an add on which serves a mini order of fries and a small drink. I would add that to my burger of choice. Hopefully the franchising company monitors Yelp for customer input. read more

Clean bright burger chain with a fairly straightforward menu and some basic customizations. The service really stood out as the highlight for me. Everyone is really friendly, the place is spotless, even the bathrooms look nice. The burger itself was pretty good, maybe not as good as a restaurant but for fast food it had a good clean taste without any heavy additives or dripping grease. It's crazy expensive unfortunately. A drink and burger cost me over $20(!). There's smaller options and you can go cheaper, so maybe I'll do that next time. read more

Was there this past Saturday and had a nice lunch at this location. The girls working there where very nice and helpful. The location is very clean and food was fast and delicious. After raising prices over the last 3 years where a little hamburger combo would cost $20, they introduced a lunch "classic combo" in the last 2-3 months for $12.99 plus tax. Great deal - until sometime in the last week or two, they raised it by $1 to $13.99, which puts it back at close to $16 with tax. Less of a good deal considering a similar combo at In-N-Out is $8 plus tax. Unfortunately, this means while I had returned a half dozen times since the original classic combo came out 2-3 months ago, I won't be back at these higher prices. read more

Been going to this location since they opened. After my last visit in November in which I got the$12.99 little burger deal, I was disappointed in the taste of the meat, and the fries were super greasy. After adding what I like to my burger it still lacked flavor, it's almost like they did not add any seasoning to it. We don't have burgers a lot but when we do, we used to love this place. Why? 1. Delicious double burgers with so many complimentary topping options! 2. Free peanuts! However, they didn't do well in our visit today: 1. We ordered 3 burgers, the order taker took down the orders correctly. Each burger was numbered with a tag. They switched the numbers between two of them, and we didn't realize until we each took a bite. Luckily, we were in the family and didn't bother us too much, but this is really not a mistake you'd want to make if there are serious allergies (eg mushrooms, etc) 2. For the third order, we ordered A-1 sauce, the order taker noted it but we didn't get it so we had to go back and ask for it again. 3. All the burgers didn't have any flavor (are we supposed to as for salt?), and we ended up requesting more A-1, and used it on all 3. 4. The breads became soggy with the way condiments were placed. I think they used to be more thoughtful so this didn't use to happen All and all, we were a bit disappointed this time :( I hope they can take these comments as a challenge to improve as we used to love this place! read more

After a morning chaos at Costco getting our monthly groceries, we decided to go to one of our favorite burger spots. When we walked in, we looked at the menu. We can tell our tell our server Kara H, was a bit overwhelmed just with work, but we tried to give her a good energy as far as ordering and not makes such a hassle. Overall, she took our order and she was really really nice and overall a great experience at five guys, especially as there are only ladies working in here, so shout out to all the strong women in here taking our orders. Stopped by to pick up dinner to go after ordering online on their website. I ordered a little cheeseburger (grilled mushrooms, onion, jalapeño), little fries, and a chocolate milkshake with Oreo bits. I love their variety of toppings because I am a big mushrooms in burgers girl! The burger was yummy and they give so many fries in the little size. The shake was made perfect as well. The Burgers are fine. The Hot Dogs are amazing. Half of the fountain drinks were unavailable (empty reservoirs) . . . . but the other half were dispensing. Many of the tables needed cleaning. What happened to Five Guys? asked about the Veggie Cheese if the cheese could be grilled rather than order the Grilled Cheese. The cashier with an attitude says the cheese is melted as if this is common knowledge. As we waited, the same cashier is yelling very loudly and unprofessionally the order numbers which was totally unnecessary. I heard another cook call out the numbers but nowhere as crass as the cashier. I realize my sandwich which is just a bun with very little vegetables and guess what NO CHEESE! So I went back to request the melted cheese. The cashier asked me if I took a bite and I said no. She then asked if I wanted a new order or if I wanted to put it back on the grill. I replied that I don't think that would be safe to do as far as food safety goes. I overheard one of the cooks ask if I took a bite. They took my burger back and I saw him put cheese, (unmelted) back in the burger and wrap it up. Then he placed it on the counter and then brought it to me as if the cold sandwich would magically melt the cheese. Total fake out! Needless to say, I checked it and the cheese was cold. Yuck! I brought it back and asked for a refund. The same cook issued me a refund with no receipt of the credit. I saw him pocket the receipt with the credit. I requested to see it. He told me to check with our credit card. I took a photo just in case. We noticed that our burgers were not juicy so we're not sure if the quality had gone down since my last review or we are just used to better burgers and sandwiches. I had a craving for a Five Guys burger and fries.  It had been quite a while since I visited one of their locations, so I used the Yelp app to find one close by and I ended up here. It had been a very long day and I was famished, so I decided to go with a double bacon cheeseburger.   I ordered one with almost everything (no mayo); I also got a regular order of fries and helped myself to some of their complimentary peanuts.  After I sat down I dug into my burger; after a few bites it became a delicious mess (in a good way), with drippings running onto my wrist.  The patties were nicely cooked, and they retained their natural juices well.  The bacon was done just right, but its flavor wasn't as pronouced as I would have liked. As fast food restaurants go, Five Guys' prices are on the high side, but between the free peanuts, the Ginormous portion of fries and huge burgers with un-limited toppings, you really get your money's worth! Despite the fact that I visited during the dinner rush, service was totally fast, friendly, and efficient.  The gentleman who took my order also had a great sense of humor; it was impossible not to laugh ;-) It was enjoyable to watch the staffers shouting their orders down the "assembly line", and it didn't take very long at all for my food to be prepared :-) read more

First time to Five Guys. We ordered a hamburger plus a cheeseburger combo. Both burgers with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles & grilled onions. The combo came with fries and a drink. The fries needed to be crisper, the Diet Coke only dumped soda no syrup so I had to go with Coke Zero which was ok. Our biggest complaint was the music although good classic rock was so loud we couldn't hear them call our number when our order was ready. Most people like to talk while they eat with music so loud it was necessary to almost shout to be heard. Even the staff behind the counter were shouting to be heard. There are two burger places within a few blocks that we prefer over Five Guys one north and the other to the east. Would've have given 4 stars if the music wasn't so loud. read more

As good as all of the Five Guys I have visited have been, this one is especially outstanding. The first and most important reason is the people. From the day this spot opened, it has consistenly been staffed by some of the friendliest, most helpful, and efficient food service people I have encountered anywhere. Major kudos to the people responsible for hiring here, because they do a phenomenal job! Another great feature of this location is consistency; nothing is under- or over-cooked, ever. They Goldilocks it every time! With their current "classic combo" they're perfectly competitive on price with larger, mass-production chains like the Evil Arches, but the food is so much better and there is so much more of it. I love how the "little fries" order contains a more generous amount than the extra-large orders elsewhere, and Five Guys has pretty much the Platonic Ideal of fries. So. Good. Like other locations, the dining area here is always spotlessly clean, and I appreciate that the kitchen area is fully on view so that you can see how clean and well-maintained it is. read more

I give this place 2 stars. Just like it says, "could've been better" basically sums it up. I ordered a cheese burger and my mom ordered a grilled cheese. I know you don't go to five guys and get a grilled cheese. But for 8 bucks it was very basic. The cheese should be squeezing out the sides and piping hot. None of that was here. First off they made the grilled cheese first. Then let it sit on the counter while they made my burger. NO! you make the grilled cheese last, or leave it on the grill to stay hot while you make the burger. Already they are making the order, out of order. The cheese burger. Simple, or is it? I don't get why my bun had grease all over the top of it. Did you grab the greasy patty with your hands and then touch the bun? I mean why? Cheese. Not melted at all. Processed cheese. For 14$ why are you serving it on processed cheese. Then you don't put the cheese on the burger while its cooking so it melts to the burger. You put COLD cheese on the burger? What wrong with you? The patty. It was greasy. Dripping out of the wrapper as I pulled the burger out of the bag. It was dripping onto the fries and on the table. I like a juicy burger but this was dripping. And then the fries. Way too much salt. Do you even see how much salt you put on them? It was almost inedible. This location only cares about speed and not quality. They put their greasy hands all over the buns, over salt the fries, and can't make a hot grilled cheese. They put cold cheese on the burger and can't even bother melting it to the patty. For what you pay, this is not the quality I would expect. As inflation increases, you can not keep staying the same. You have to increase the quality of the product as well. Your prices were already high, then you increase them more because the franchise owner doesn't want to take a pay cut and expect the consumer to make up for the losses, which has nothing to do with us and everything to do with our economy. We are holding you franchise owners to higher degree now. The prices are way to high to be serving JUNK! You need to do better. read more

First the negative. I have been to this location several times and each time it was filthy. Food all over the floors and around tables and chairs, table tops unclean with food and sticky residue from sauces and catsup. Not an appetizing place to eat. On the positive side I found the food to be well prepared and tasty. The service was very good and my orders were accurate. I did notice a related issue. Delivery services came in several times to pick up orders. None of the orders were in stapled or sealed bags. One could see some of these drivers opening the bags and stuffing their mouths with what appeared to be French fries. This is why I will never use food delivery services. Restaurants have long known about this problem - food theft and sanitation issues. Some restaurants staple their bags closed and other use sealing tape. This Five Guys simply hands open bags to delivery drivers. Consider that when ordering from them. read more

The staff are very friendly, and the free peanuts in the shell are fun to eat while you wait for your burger. But on our recent visit, $12 dollars was way too much to pay for a single fast food burger, as the price has skyrocketed in recent times. For this price I could go to a full-service restaurant and get a higher quality burger for the same amount or just a little bit more. We ate here anyway but it will probably be the last time with these prices, and the fact that the buns are always falling apart when you bite into their burgers. The next time I want a fast food burger, I'll go for In-N-Out (cheap and good value) or The Habit (more premium but still under $10 and reasonable for the price). read more

I was a pescatarian for about 13 years or so....now that I have welcomed beef back into my life, I had to try this place. So this particular Five Guys was very clean which I liked. The customer service was good! Straight to the point service. I walked in and ordered a Bacon Cheese Burger with the works! Everything including mushrooms. I went in! Lol Let me tell you that my burger was so good! The meat was cooked to perfection and my mouth was literally doing every Tik Tok dance, literally a party in my mouth. The flavors of everything was perfect. The fries were yummy, but most of them were over cooked unfortunately but I could tell if they were not over cooked they would have been perfect! They had peanuts and I enjoyed those but didn't know the reason behind peanuts but hey I enjoy my nuts hahaha. Nonetheless this was a fantastic experience and I enjoyed my burger alot! read more

Never had Five Guys before, so was super excited to finally try their food. The Little Bacon Cheeseburger was huge! No need to get the regular size one. I have a big appetite, and it already filled me up. I got it with grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, pickles, lettuce, and tomatoes. But you can also add as many additional free toppings as you like. The burger was fresh and delicious, and I really loved the bun. Meat was not too greasy. Veggies were fresh and crisp. I didn't get any sauce, but it wasn't needed, and my burger was not too dry. Not was it sopping wet. Perfect! Cajun style fries were way too salty and spicy for my taste. I've heard that they have massive portions for the fries, but it wasn't anything I couldn't handle by myself.
