There is maggots in the chicken !
    Jazmin M.

There was a maggot in the fried chicken! Thank god we noticed before too many of us actually ate some of the chicken in the bucket! We called them and they said it was fried so it's fine to eat!!! Completely disgusting! Do not buy chicken from this location! I reported to the local health authorities as well!

Finally got to try Jollibee after hearing so many rave reviews from my friends. Jollibee is a similar chicken restaurant that I would compare to Popeyes. First off, service was great. When you initially walk in, you immediately see the board which displays all of the food options. The service workers were pleasant. Inside the restaurant, there are various seating options. They also have a drive up window for cars. Myself and my friends ordered a bit of everything to try. We ordered the 8 piece chicken bucket, the adobo rice which I loved, French fries, side of gravy, etc. it was great and I have no complaints!

One of the best places to have fried chicken made the Filipino style. There are other options now being offered such as burgers and also they have Filipino pancit (noodles). We really like the mango peach pies. They are fried just like the old style McDonald's apple pies, but better. The service here is outstanding. The wait is not very long. I've never eaten inside of this place so I can't vouch for the ambience, but the lines in the drive-through go very quickly. The fried chicken stays crispy for a long time after it's cooled off so that's a plus. The french fries however are not the same as in a past visit after it got cold. They must've done something differently because in the past the french fries used to stay nice and edible even if when they're cold, Their french fries are offered with gravy something very different than other restaurants.

jollibees is so good The spicy chicken is soooo spicy the heck! It's perfect for me And the spaghetti is MA FAVVVVVVVVV i only got it as a side this time and it came out piping hot I'm pretty sure I burned my mouth but it was worth it It was so funny bc we were at the front and of the register and the guy yells "HELLO WELCOME TO JOLLIBEES MAYBE I HELP THE NEXT CUSTOMER" while we were standing right in front of him LMAO Anyway the only thing I don't like is their fountain drinks cuz coke over Pepsi. I said what I said!!!

9/13/25: Jolly Crispy Fries Large, Adobo Rice, Chicken and Ube pie

At this point I've visited this location a total of 4 times now and have had different experiences each time with the food temp/consistency --hence the reason for only 3 stars. I've only tried the chicken (ie: legs, thighs), fries, biscuits, gravy, adobo rice and ube pie. The chicken has always been HOT, juicy and flavorful. Adobo Rice, Gravy and pies are consistent. *The inconsistency has been with fries and biscuits: I've received fries that have been piping HOT, room temp or half warm and the others barely warm. Then I've received biscuits fresh and others hard like they've had them sitting out for a while. I think letting the staff know that you want your sides FRESH is the answer. Staff are pretty friendly. Last time I was there I had to state "I would like my fries FRESH" and they did honor my request -- with an additional wait time (which I didn't mind for FRESHNESS). Lastly, I think this location has potential to be better. I find that the weekend crew pushes out fresher food and during the week they crank out huge quantities even if they're having a slow day which results in food being given to customers that has been sitting (at least that's what it appears to be). Ultimately, try them out BUT speak up about how you would like to receive your food. My review is reflective of my visits on: 9/13/25, 9/15/25, 9/21/25 and 9/25/25.

Gotta love any sort of fast food fried chicken.. I don't eat at Jollibee often but sometimes fried chicken and biscuits are the only thing that will satisfy me. The chicken is good.. the biscuits are good but not KFC good... the star of it all is the honey.. yes the honey.. deep rich honey with great flavor. Put it on your chicken or the biscuits... nice clean restaurant with very good service. French fries are nice and crispy so that is a plus too!

The service is pretty fast through their drive through and prices are pretty average for a fast food spot. I got their spicy chicken sandwich and it was pretty good. I like that they just straight up put jalapeño slices in it. It had the perfect kick. Not overly spicy but also not underwhelming like a lot of other places. I actually wasn't a fan of their fried chicken. I personally didn't enjoy the flavor but my husband does.

On this trip, my first meal in California was my first visit to Jollibee, rather than my usual In & Out. I ordered a two piece chicken with palabok for $12.49 and their seasonal fried ube pie. The palabok took unexpectedly long, so I inquired after my order to make sure it wasn't forgotten. They apologized both in word and in chicken, which made me feel heard, and appreciated as a customer. The food came home with me, yet the chicken remained crispy, and moist and tender, and hot and delicious. The palabok was tasty, but a bit confusing as the dish had conflicting pictures on their order website where shrimp is pictured inconsistently, but the dish is described as "A traditional Filipino noodle dish covered in garlic sauce, sauteed pork, and egg", and arrived sans any visible shrimp. Their ube fried pie was a treat! Even at $2.99 apiece. Their soda fountain is Pepsi branded.

I rolled through the drive-thru to grab a bite to eat when my son had a nearby medical appointment. After a quick review of the website we settle on what to get. Let's jump right into this review. What did we get - 1. 2-piece chicken joy meal (two orders) - spicy or original - comes with fries and a drink $13 The chicken was crispy. Biscuit was OK. Nothing spectacular! The fries were decent. I got a side of mashed potatoes that i was not impressed with at all. There are other sides as well: mac n' cheese, mashed potatoes, white rice, adobo rice, and spaghetti Pros 1. The chicken is crispy! Just how I like it. This was a huge hit with me - that first bite I could hear (lol). 2. Drive-thru was quick. No line. Cons 1. Customer service was OK. The employee who took our order was nice but she overcharged me. I wasn't happy about that. She wasn't rude but she wasn't friendly either. 2. Menu is a bit confusing on what comes in the meal and what is an additional up-charge. Something else to note: I didn't go inside but I could see that there is a dine-in area. Jollibee is in the same lot as In-N-Out so don't confuse the lines. Overall, I would consider purchasing again. I frequent this area for medical appointments and it's nice to have something other than In-N-Out, Jollibee neighbor.

The fried chicken is great and the sweet spaghetti is just as good. I tried the Korean fried chicken from their Katseye collab and it was way too heavily sauced. The sauce kinda had a strange flavor too. Not for me, but if that's your taste you might enjoy it. I'd definitely come back for the regular fried chicken. Service: Quick and efficient Food: Regular fried chicken and spaghetti were great, Korean fried chicken collab was over-sauced and odd tasting Ambiance: Standard fast food chain feel 9/10 - Best fried chicken

A lovely jollibee in a plaza with a lot of shopping and other good places on a busy Hawthorne st. Right next to in n out so be careful of being caught in the long drive thru. The inside is clean, the service was courteous and quick. There isn't that much seating inside though. As usual the food is delicious. Got a two piece original chicken with spaghetti along with a pineapple quencher and some adobo rice. Not cheap at about $20 total but worth every penny and definitely ample for two meals.

Food was fresh! Chicken very crispy (in a good way). Very rarely do people surprise me with flavor and spice. Their spicy chicken had me taking a drink of my Pineapple infusion of yummy lemonade! Ralph greeted us on entry, presented amazing options to bundle the many orders we had and left us wanting more. If it were commission based, I would have left him a tip! The store was well lit. The tables were filled with happy eaters. We waited in a very well maintained restaurant. There is plenty of parking. Tip: Do not park in front of drive thru! There was a bit of traffic trying to get out because we parked there, that was not there when we got there. Still, food left a great impression on my tummy and my wallet. Would return.

    What is the cross street?

It's on Hawthorne Blvd near Del Amo Blvd. It's next to In-N-Out.

I only see thigh and legs, do they have white meat?

it appears that white meat is only used in their chicken Tenders and their Chicken sandwich.

Does anyone know if halo-halo and pearl coolers are available at any of the nearby locations?

They don't serve halo halo temporarily and for pearl coolers they don't sell it anymore sadly

    Why don't they have Halo-Halo?

They just don't serve it yet at this location. The manager says no idea if and when.

    Do they ube pie available?

It's available now. For some reason, it got left out of the physical menu handed out to people, but it's on the digital board in the restaurant

    Is jolibee opening in July?

According to their recently updated phone message, they will be open as of June 29.

When does this location open? Been waiting forever 🖤

Today I was able to make the near impossible happen and we got to the market before it got busy (around 10am). I ordered the goat stew whereas my partner (who is Filipino) just wanted to check out their food. As such he got the salmon. The goat stew reminded me of a flavorful and creamy, Indian curry and the meat was very tender. The owner said to be careful of bones but I encountered none. Meanwhile the salmon was well cooked, soft and not dry. The sauce itself had a pleasing sourness to it but the hot sauce on the side really kicked up the flavor. It reminded us of a creamy Tabasco with a myriad of other flavors like garlic and onions. Ironically, the salmon had bones. The side salad was sweet in a good way with quartered grapes providing the main sweetness. The rice had a nice flavor profile rich with tomato--it reminded us of a cross between a creole rice and Spanish rice... but also not? We don't quite know how to describe it but it was good. If I'm ever able to get my partner up early again on a Sunday, we'll be sure to go back! I hope they eventually open a brick and mortar store. Tip: Buy a bottle of the hot sauce if you remotely like hot sauce. If you buy online, the shipping alone is the cost of buying a bottle in person.

The restaurant is tucked into a corner of a busy parking lot, but I was able to find a spot easily. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the aroma of food cooking in the kitchen. The staff welcomed me as I approached the cafeteria-style food counter. The menu hangs above, making it easy to look through the options. I asked about their veggie egg rolls, which were displayed in a separate case along with lumpia and other tempting treats. While learning about their veggie egg rolls and other dishes, I decided to order the egg rolls and was also drawn to the cantaloupe drink. On a warm day, the thin slices of cantaloupe floating in the drink looked so refreshing. The prices were very reasonable, and the egg roll itself was a great size. It also came with a dipping sauce that paired perfectly. I sat down to enjoy my lunch, and it did not disappoint. The vinegar-based sauce complemented the egg roll nicely, and the sweet cantaloupe drink balanced everything out for a great sweet-and-savory combo. Before leaving, I even bought another egg roll to take home. The staff were friendly, and I really enjoyed my lunch. I'll definitely be back to try some of the other dishes on the menu.
