The Carson location is my usual go-to, but I happen to be in this area so it was convenient. I went online, put my orders in, all good and ready to go when I arrived during pick up time! Still hot when I arrived home, and that first bite of that crispy fried chicken finally took care of the bad taste caused by that eatery I went to the day before. Gravy made it even better! It's been a while since I've been to Jollibee and Friday I was craving fried chicken and Jollibee really does have the juiciest and most flavor fried chicken. Their ChickenJoy indeed brings me joy. I love the convenience of the app and being able to drive thru and pick up my order is the best. I am also a fan of their pineapple quencher. The food and the convenience definitely gets the three stars. Sadly two stars off for the young lady working at the drive thru window. She was completely disengaged and seemed annoyed that me pulling up to pick up my order disrupted her working on her nails because right after she handed me my order she immediately went back to her nails. Ordered from the self service kiosk which was very easy to do and picked up at the counter when the good was ready. I tried the palabok fiesta this time and it was okay. That noodles were pretty soft, softer than I'd like. I liked it better with lemon juice on top. I like their chicken dipped in gravy. My husband liked the spicy chicken sandwich. The Hawthorne Torrance branch is my go to for Jollibee because it is near me. I always greeted by the friendly staff here. The last time I was there, Louie is pleasant and helped me right away with my order. There are plenty of selection on the menu. The food are fresh and delicious. Finally got to try Jollibee after hearing so many rave reviews from my friends. Jollibee is a similar chicken restaurant that I would compare to Popeyes. First off, service was great. One of the best places to have fried chicken made the Filipino style. There are other options now being offered such as burgers and also they have Filipino pancit (noodles). We really like the mango peach pies. They are fried just like the old style McDonald's apple pies, but better. The service here is outstanding. The wait is not very long. I've never eaten inside of this place so I can't vouch for the ambience, but the lines in the drive-through go very quickly. The fried chicken stays crispy for a long time after it's cooled off so that's a plus. The french fries however are not the same as in a past visit after it got cold. They must've done something differently because in the past the french fries used to stay nice and edible even if when they're cold, Their french fries are offered with gravy something very different than other restaurants. read more

At this point I've visited this location a total of 4 times now and have had different experiences each time with the food temp/consistency --hence the reason for only 3 stars. I've only tried the chicken (ie: legs, thighs), fries, biscuits, gravy, adobo rice and ube pie. The chicken has always been HOT, juicy and flavorful. Adobo Rice, Gravy and pies are consistent. *The inconsistency has been with fries and biscuits: I've received fries that have been piping HOT, room temp or half warm and the others barely warm. Then I've received biscuits fresh and others hard like they've had them sitting out for a while. I think letting the staff know that you want your sides FRESH is the answer. Staff are pretty friendly. Last time I was there I had to state "I would like my fries FRESH" and they did honor my request -- with an additional wait time (which I didn't mind for FRESHNESS). Lastly, I think this location has potential to be better. I find that the weekend crew pushes out fresher food and during the week they crank out huge quantities even if they're having a slow day which results in food being given to customers that has been sitting (at least that's what it appears to be). The palabok was tasty, but a bit confusing as the dish had conflicting pictures on their order website where shrimp is pictured inconsistently, but the dish is described as "A traditional Filipino noodle dish covered in garlic sauce, sauteed pork, and egg", and arrived sans any visible shrimp. I am hesitating about writing this review. This is because it is not a review about Jollibee's food, but rather a review about their service. Unfortunately, I never got to try their food. I am giving Jollibee one star right now because I recently tried to order food from their drive-thru on a Sunday night at around 6:30 pm. I had to wait around 15 minutes in the drive-thru only to be told at the ordering microphone that it would take at least 20 minutes to fulfill any chicken orders. It then took another 5 minutes for me to get out of the drive-thru lane. SO FRUSTRATING. I can understand that they were busy. But it would have been nice if they had put up a sign advising of the wait so before turning into the drive-thru lane. It is likely I will go back and see if the food and service warrant a better review. But for now, I am giving Jollibee just one star. read more

This review is for service only. We all know the food is normally great. Second time at this location and the service is SOOO SLOW. Literally spent 1+ hour here from the time I sat down and ordered. Food took about 40 min for FAST FOOD. INSANE. Management needs to do better. In n out next door has a line wrapped around Jolibee for miles and they will still get you your food faster. The wait is ridiculous and the sole reason I will not come back to this location. Management if you read this, you are losing business. Get it other. read more

The inside is clean, the service was courteous and quick. There isn't that much seating inside though. As usual the food is delicious. Jollibee makes some of the tastiest fried chicken i've had. I usually order online and it's ready when I get there. Their online ordering and pick-up system is so easy and quick, that i don't have time to take pics of the restaurant. When i get home, i cant wait to make my plate and start enjoying their scrumptious fried chicken, i forget to take pics! Next time i will take pics and post the deliciousness of Jollibee. I love their gravy, they also have steamed rice and mashed potatoes with gravy. I haven't tried their other offerings yet, but will try them someday. The inside of the restaurant is always clean, fully staffed and usually busy with customers dining in and others waiting to take home. The quiet hum of busy employees and families enjoying a meal, give the atmosphere a humble happy feeling. The value and quality are incomparable, the service is top notch, you do not fine these qualities in a fast casual restaurant. If you're planning to visit this location, be careful with the staff. If they are unhappy with you for any reason, they may immediately retaliate. Today I ordered through the drive-thru. After placing my order at the speaker, I pulled forward to the payment window. I suddenly realized I forgot to ask for the sauce on the side since I wasn't going to eat the food right away. I politely said, "I'm sorry, could I please have the sauce on the side?" The employee responded that the food was already finished. Really? It took about 30 seconds to move from the order speaker to the payment window, and there were three orders -- everything was already done? I explained again that I wasn't going to eat immediately and kindly asked if they could separate the sauce. At that point, an older female employee started making faces, complaining, and mumbling. I could clearly see her behavior through the window. Then she told me to pull forward and park to wait for the food. I ended up waiting more than 15 minutes, which very much felt like intentional retaliation. They prepared and served orders for customers who arrived after me first, while making me continue to wait as if it was deliberate, until they were satisfied. I hope management will seriously look into the staff's attitude and behavior. This location already has a reputation for poor customer service, and unfortunately, today's experience confirmed that. read more
