This Weinersnitzel has Breakfast options. Breakfast Burritos, hashed potatoes and more. I tried the breakfast burrito with sausage. It was actually pretty decent. The hashed brown nuggets were hot and crisp. The location has a drive thru that is a bit difficult to navigate . The staff were prompt and friendly. The building looks to be something Wienerschnitzel acquired. It is not the standard A frame or 70 " look. This has a large dining area inside. read more

Ahhh .. the perfect spot for a warm hot dog wrapped in a bun. I just put a dab of mustard on it .. other times I make it a chili dog. (No onions). Believe it or not their classic hamburger is the best $5 burger around. The sauce combination last in every bite. It's my go to lunch on Tuesdays. I've pumped this before and I'm hoping they it on the menu always. It's only been in the last year that they have it. I was suddenly in the mood for a chili dog so I picked the closest place. And this was it. I dined and it took a while to get a cashier from the drive-thru window to assist me and 6-8 others behind me. I ordered the chili burger Big disappointment. Lot of place farther away that have great chili but not this. I'll just say it was nothing to brag about. I've had their sauerkraut dogs in the past and they were very good. But my advice - if you're going for their chili, taste and sample first. Maybe it's an acquired taste but I sure didn't acquire it in one meal. The parking was great and there was plenty of seating inside. I didn't see anyone cleaning the dirty tables and the staff seemed to be growing through the motions. This is my go to spot for Hot Dogs in the South Bay. The food is always so fresh and even though I live closer to the wienerschnitzel on PCH in Lomita/Harbor City i drive the extra 5-7 minutes over here to the one in Torrance because I know the service is great and the food will be fresh. The young men working here are super nice, Joshua in specifically is super friendly, easy to understand, and always makes sure my order is spot on and that I leave satisfied. Overall, I would definitely make this your preferred Wienerschnitzel when choosing to get hot dogs here in the South Bay! You will notice the pleasant difference in quality and service. read more

Wait time is a little long due to the configuration of the restaurant spacing; which is unchangeable. The corndog is alright although pricey for a hotdog based meat product.; sweet'ish wrapping with the dog inside and the meat doesn't overwhelm the taste. Staff is nice enough. End of the day it's an expensive hotdog so lower your expectations (you can buy a pack of dogs at the store+buns for less than the price of the least expensive option here, just sayin) read more

We were craving soft serve ice cream, so what better place to go to? We were greeted and taken care of by a young lady that was handling both the drive thru and dining room. She didn't let crowd phase her, she just took a deep breath and handled it. It was also a delight to see how clean the dining room was. There was nothing left on any tables, floors looked recently mopped, and the windows and doors had no fingerprints. Even the fountain drink machine didn't have any leftover ice left in the tray. We love Wienerschnitzel. They don't have the best hot dogs you will ever have, but for the price they are great. They also have great corn dogs, mini corn dogs and other items, including fries and chili. We love this location. They are open when they say they will be, some close early, which makes me nuts. This place will stay open until everyone is served. The service is super nice and your food is made right the first time. If you want an expensive huge dog, this is not the place for you, but they do sell premium dogs and they are also great. It is just a great place for a snack, a meal, or when you are on a budget. He asked if we wanted the receipt. He crumpled both the dollar and the receipt to conceal his deception when we told him that he didn't give us all our change. I was trying to tell him that I want a regular and he got mad at me because I didn't say medium or large and then when I pulled up, he didn't even say hi nothing he just said oh that guy like I didn't understand his voice was the same. For a fast food snack it is one of my go to restaurants. Wierd drive through but you get used to it. Good value and satisfying snack. Kraut dog, corn dog and chili dog my favorites. Torrance Food Crawl #99 When I was a kid it seemed like there were more places that served hot dogs. Or perhaps I was looking for hot dogs more than other foods. I remember thinking that it was real exotic to order a hot dog at Der Wienerschnitzel with sauerkraut and mustard, it seemed so German and foreign. Today there are very few hot dog themed restaurants and der W fills that niche more than anyone else. This branch has been at this location for decades which is a back-handed indication that they've found a winning formula. There is now a limited time offer of a few items including a Pastrami Sandwich. As pastrami sandwiches go this one was mediocre. The pastrami had an excess of sinew. Excessive chewing and biting into the sinew was necessary to eat the sandwich. The rye bread and mustard were good but a good sandwich needs more than that. I also tried the Chicago Dog with an all-beef hot dog. This was much better and was very reminiscent of dogs I've had in Chicago. The peppers are not overly spicy which is good. And there wasn't any of that fluorescent green relish that Chicagoans seem to love and that I've tried to accept but finally decided that I just don't like. I frequent Weinerschizel one month ago, noticed my chili cheese fries tasted different and thought maybe Wienerschnitzel perhaps changed their recipe.  On July 17, 2022 I went back and placed same order polish dog and large chili cheese fries.  By chance while waiting noticed Linda dumping old fries back into the fryer (double frying).  I expressed my lament to the manager Alex about food safety.  He made up an excuse that she was new, which she was not as I later found out.  I left and filled out survey experience on receipt.  On July 18, 2022 receive call from I believe Sandra Pacheco.  She said there is no such GM named Alex, but does know who he is based on my description.  She also knew who Linda the cook was and was not a new employee.  Mind you Sandra is talking to me and serving customers from whatever location as she has to put me on hold a couple of times.   Sandra advised that she is the regional manager and is aware franchisees do this and that it is on going problem.  Sandra acknowledged also that Alex the GM provided a customer a false name.  Sandra was so busy she advised will need to call me back.  She further said that this location has a new owner recently and she is trying to deal with reheating food practice done by many locations. I never received a call back. I fiIed a complaint through the corporate website and requested a call back by someone from corporate.  Needless to say Wienerschnitzel never responded. I am surprised and thought this type of practice is not of concern to corporate. My concern is of food safety practice. If this is an issue does this practice happen to other food products they serve? I also submitted my concern to CA Heath. My hope is that this will be looked into and ensure this practice is addressed. read more

Me thinks not! I actually tried stopping at El Pollo Loco for a salad but it was so crowded and congested I swung by this place instead. All I can say is "yuck!" Ordered the chili dog combo and they were gross! Fries were ok. Definitely not worth the price of 7 bucks and some change. read more
