South Bay staple for a late night craving fit for the classic burger, milkshake, french fries/onion rings combo. But truthfully, I'd still choose In N Out over Fatburger any day. Always gonna love the portion sizes here, but the cons kinda outweigh the good here. - Limited, cramped parking - Painfully Slow Service - Not the cleanest establishment If I want steak fries and a shake when it's really late, I'd come in. But for quality burger and fries with a reasonable price point, there are def better choices available in the South Bay. read more

I hadn't had fatburger, in ages. Didn't feel like basic in n out burger. So went and had the best fatburger, and fat fries! Gabriel the cook, associate was super friendly and greeted me as soon as I entered. My burger was cooked to perfection. The only feedback was on the cleanliness to the restaurant. The tables needed to be cleaned, none were cleaned. The condiment area was not kept up, and the infamous lemonade was almost empty. If my burger could have kept warmer on my commute back home, I would have preferred to eat it there. But an unkept restaurant can throw the ambiance of eating there. read more

Fatburger is one of my favorite burger chains. I've been to several of their locations in LA and always leave smiling. The burger I had here was a full half pound, fresh, delicious and filling. I also had yummy onion rings and a vanilla milkshake right on PCH across from Riviera Village in Redondo Beach. The manager serving me was on top of his game. Recommended and they're open late. read more

Extremely reliable late night burger spot. Excellent food and pretty quick service. You definitely get what you pay for.

Had a good experience previously when there were different workers but this time the girl who took my order made my order the way that it could be personal LOL. Watery shake! Dry cold burger and fries! No thanks! read more

The fat fries are good. The kids burger is the size of a slider so it's not for older kids. I've had better shakes, these are not worth the price. The chili cheese fries were greasy and tasteless, do not get their chili anything! The Burger tasted good. read more

As a local, anytime I have had the craving for a burger I would come pick up food and take it home. In the past let's say two years, I looked the other way when they always get my order wrong, I say no lettuce "it's there" I order chili cheese fries "get onion rings" etc. I get it! This is a burger place and I don't want to walk back to complain so I've dealt with this numerous times. With that said this last time I came home, took a bite, guess what? HAIR! So, did I get charged extra for this ingredient? Who knows because there was more than one. Had to throw my food away because that's disgusting. But I'm sad that this made me decide to no longer be a customer. Didn't mind the screw ups on the orders or the $100+ I would spend for a family meal, but can't look past this. Trust me I hope nobody ever bites into a hairy burger! You should put this on the menu as "THE HAIRY FAT" some people might still enjoy it. We had a great run, good luck! read more

Fatburger is a classic so cal burger It differs from In n Out and Tommys - the other classic so cal burger chains. Be prepared, your order will take some time. This isnt McDonald's. Fatburger was started in the 50s by an African American woman, probably making this the only such major burger chain to have that claim. It was the cool place for jazz musicians in the 50s and 60s, then she expanded and franchised her business. Fat, by the way, was 50s jazz Aland for Huge and Deluxe. It sort of has a different connotation today Famous for inclusion in some rap songs and The Fast and the Furious , the ambiance is appropriate for the origins of the firm The food is super good. King burgers are HUGE Enjoy a slice of so cal history read more

Do not go. I have been here several times. I looked online. They have hours and said "open" but after putting in the order it said I had to come in person. I show up (about 5 mins before closing, so way too close, I agree... but it's fast food so I expect they serve till a few past closing). The doors are all locked. I tried each, a worker opens one and tells me they're closed. I said cool, but why not update the sites to say that. Less than 10 ago I was allowed to order in DoorDash. I also drove up and 2 "open" signs were illuminated. So odd. Just update your hours/signage read more

I came with friends late at night on a Thursday. They took the orders and got the food out fine. They just messed up on my friend's burger. My friend went back to get a new burger & they messed up on the burger a second time. And at that point, we had taken the burger home so we couldn't exchange it. Their first error was adding relish when told not to. The second error was putting raw onions when grilled onions were requested. Overall, it made the experience a poor one. read more

Very disappointing service today for someone who has been coming here for years. Food was 20 minutes late according to their app. What was more infuriating was when they finished my online order they put it away instead of just calling my name. I had to ask them if the order sitting there was my order. Even more infuriating was the cashier was processing a milkshake for someone who had just placed a to go order. When I complained that my food had been sitting there for ten minutes no apology was offered. Very disappointing. Food 5, Service 0 = 2 read more

Our go-to burger spot . Burgers are always juicy. Plus, you have options. Staff is friendly & efficient. .

i've been going here since i was 16 and their burgers have always been outstanding. i'll be honest and admit that their service was fairly prompt. i must say that the food is and has always on point and satisfying. however, this is just my personal opinion because i can only speak for myself, other people can piss and moan about it. if i was to give a score from 1 to 10 i would definitely give them an 8. thank you to the staff that has always been kind to me, like ve you guys! read more

Fatburger, I am officially breaking up with you. Tonight was the last straw. I placed an order on the app. Son runs in, picks up the order and we drive two blocks away to our home. The minute we get out of the car, the bottom of the bag completely rips dropping food everywhere. Not happy. Get into the house and they shorted us two chili fries. I call the store and the girl I spoke with gave zero f&$cks. This is the second time they have forgotten food in my order. I pay a lot of money for their burgers and their service is worse than a jagged tooth hooker. My teenage boys and I will go one block down to Proudly Serving. BTW. I have been eating at Fatburger since the 80's. Good riddance. So the owner responds that my son went back and picked them up. Of course he did! You don't deliver, nor will you do a charge back on my credit card. You are supposed to just keep my money?! The last time this happened, you at least gave me a card for a free burger- which I can't use on the app. Not worth the frustration for damn near $80 for burgers. Ciao read more

I was a good 3-4 bites into my delicious original cheeseburger with grilled & regular onions when I thought I was trying to bite into lettuce. When my teeth did not go thru the lettuce I tugged on it with my teeth and to my absolute dismay, I discovered that I was actually pulling on a finger of a plastic glove that was in my burger! I'm disgusted beyond words. I called to complain the worker offered to make me another one or to leave a receipt for tomorrow if I want to come then instead. Bless her for trying to help me but I have no intentions of ever coming back! I will be calling to speak with a manager tomorrow. read more

Was so disappointed this past Saturday eve. Ordered 3 burgers, 1 onion ring, 2 skinny fries 1 with chili. The 2 burgers with the works were terrible. Meat was very dry. Buns also dry & there was tiny bit of relish, no mayo, no onion, nothing. They were so bland with no flavor. They gave us fat fries which we do not like & even they were horrible. Said they did not have skinny fries so they substituted. I would have preferred no fries but we were not given the opportunity we ordered on the app for to go order so there was not a place to ask for extra. there were not 7 toppings. maybe they were too busy. we have had before with no problem, this time horrible read more

BEST VEGAN BURGER!!!! Every time I come to Fatburger I am always pleasantly surprised with the kind Customer Service the delicious food and the speed it takes for them to get such delicious meals off the grill! Gabriel on the grill recongnized me after only 1 or two visits and when I walk in, he smiled and asks, "impossible?" And I say yes! Then, "fries?" And I say yes! He does it perfectly every time. It's almost like a home cooked meal, he's got a great spirit and you can taste the love. The fries are all good, sweet potato is surprisingly my favorite!! This is always my favorite place to enjoy a solid, consistently delicious vegan burger! And, if nutrition matters for you, all the calories and nutrition information is online, and the vegan burger is high protein!!! He always cooks it perfect If you're a vegan you have to try!! They also have 4 vegan milkshake flavors!! And open until midnight. What are you waiting for!!!!!!!! Get in there and give Gabriel a big tip All the other employees are super kind as well, respectful, funny, and sweet! read more

Fatburger - Impossible burger with Sweet Potato Fries - Fast Food Near Me - Redondo Beach, California

What could improve? Fatburger in Redondo Beach seriously needs to improve its customer service, food quality, and overall dining experience. This was one of the most unpleasant restaurant experiences we've had, and this is absolutely something the owner should be aware of and should not overlook. First, the staff needs to better understand the importance of customer service and respecting the customers they serve. We repeatedly had to ask for help, yet basic issues were ignored or poorly handled. The food quality was completely unacceptable. Our burgers were made incorrectly and looked nothing like a fresh, high-quality burger should. The burgers were cold, the cheese wasn't even melted, and the lettuce was wilted. We sent them back multiple times, and even after the third attempt, the food still came back with the same problems. This shows a serious lack of care and quality control in the kitchen. The onion rings were clearly reheated more than once and were not fresh. After being served reheated onion rings twice, we finally had to specifically ask for a fresh order to be made. The ambiance was also very uncomfortable. The restaurant itself was so cold inside that not only were we uncomfortable, but our food was getting cold while we were trying to eat it. To make matters worse, the soda machine had run out of root beer syrup. We had to ask more than six times for it to be replaced and didn't get our drinks until we were practically finished with our meal. Overall, this experience was frustrating, disappointing, and far below what anyone should expect when dining out. Ownership and management should take this seriously, because these are not minor issues that should be overlooked. Staff training, food quality control, and customer service standards clearly need immediate attention. This visit was unacceptable from start to finish. read more

If you're craving a real, hearty, old-school burger that tastes like it was made just for you, Fatburger is the place to be. I stopped by recently and left genuinely impressed--and very full. The Fatburger itself was incredible. The patty was juicy, freshly grilled, and seasoned perfectly, with that classic char-grill flavor you just don't get at most fast-food spots. You can tell everything is cooked to order because it comes out hot, fresh, and exactly how you asked for it. The toppings were crisp, the cheese melted just right, and the bun held everything together without getting soggy. Pure burger bliss. The fat fries were golden, thick, and perfectly crispy on the outside while staying fluffy inside--basically fry perfection. And if you haven't tried their milkshakes, do yourself a favor. Thick, creamy, and old-school diner-style, they pair with the burger like a dream. The vibe was super chill, the service was friendly, and the food came out fresh--no shortcuts, no rush, just really good burgers done right. If you want a burger that tastes like the real deal, Fatburger absolutely delivers. Highly recommend! read more

Service was great, very friendly. The Maui banana shake was absolutely delicious . The skinny fries were cold at first but I took them back and it was no problem to get fresh hot fries! Let me say, first time being here in awhile, but glad to be back! These burgers are one of the best in the South Bay! I couldn't eat here as much as other places for the price, but still pretty good food! The ladies behind the counter were super nice and helpful with my order! Very glad they were here to help! Been here a few times but the service I received tonight from ANDREA made it worth a 5 star review. She was friendly, helpful and just a joy to be around as she made suggestions while we ordered that worked out nicely. The food was good as well. In a one week trip how many times is too many to eat fat burger?!? Not enough!! I had it twice in one week and it still wasn't enough.. I love me a great turkey burger BUT The turkey burger here hits different to me b/c of the relish. I'm a Southern gal and we love a pickled anything so adding a bit if tangy to balance out turkey flame broiled burger... yes and yes! During both visits, employees were welcoming and friendly. Orders were cooked to perfection but the place could've been a bit more tidy. I wont take the lack of tidiness away from the tasty burgers. Skinny fries are always my way to go!! read more

Flew in for a weekend. Trying new places out and Fatburger was one recommended by the hotel stewardess. Upon ordering I did not realize how far the restaurant was and there was a much closer location. Delivery took about 45 mins to get to me. Food was not cold but it was not hot. Milkshake was left out due to the ride the vanilla syrup was sitting at the bottom of the cup. The burger was delicious. My only issue and probably the only reason it was a 3 star review. No utensils. Couldn't drink my Shake and couldn't eat the fries(ordered chilli cheese fries). It's small details like a straw and plastic fork that make it or break it for me. Good food no great food just bad service. Will order again hoping they get it right at the other location. read more

Not sure what I'm missing when people rave about Fatburger..maybe I just went to a bad location. The burger wasn't that great, a bit on the dry side, but I do like that there's relish which is different from other chains. The size of the burger is also decent for the price. The employees were quick to hand me my online pick-up order and only had me wait a couple of minutes for the banana shake which was pretty good, honestly, the shake was a tad better than the burger. I think I need to go to another location and try their other burgers as this location was a bit lackluster. The parking was decent though. read more

I tried coming here last week, cause I've been craving Fatburger. I'm not usually in the area but I was nearby and is the only Fatburger around. I came here an hour before they close and when I tried opening the door it was already locked! I don't live near and drove all the way to this Fatburger location just to be disappointed and wasted my time/gas sadly. There were still workers in there cleaning up but they just looked at me, and said nothing. Why are guys closing a whole hour before closing time? Might as well post the time that you guys actually close than just closing whenever. Or at least communicate that to your customers. Definitely not coming back here again! read more
