He was super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The food is always great, we had the burgers, fries and a delicious milkshake. The ambiance was amazing thanks to the employees and their hospitality and joie de vivre!! I live in Port St. Lucie and from now on I'll drive the extra miles to go especially to the one in Stuart. If you're in the mood for a good burger, Five Guys is the place to go. Their burgers are meaty, moist, and flavorful. You can add bacon if you want, as well as many other toppings such as lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, mayo, ketchup, etc. Their fries are basically whole potatoes with the skin on that are sliced and fried. I've been dissatisfied too many times with this particular Five Guys. I have no idea how one location can screw up my order this many times consecutively. When I come to Five Guys, I expect a premium burger just because of the pricing. I've gone to this Five Guys at different times of the day as well, it seems I can't catch a break with different workers. I've ordered online and in-person and my order will still be missing items and adding unwanted items. Hell, I've even ordered a simple ketchup only cheeseburger for a family member and somehow ended with onion and mayo on it. Another thing, your online ordering is complete bullshit. I can tell you only start making my order when I arrive for pickup! You also place my order on the back burner and 4-5 orders will go ahead of me before my order is ready. That's expected with in-person ordering, but when I order ahead I expect a quick and convenient experience. "We always make sure to make it fresh" is bullshit as well. Really impressed with this store especially with how they're working with COVID going on they're taking the right precautions and I always see staff wearing masks and respecting a 6 feet apart rule. I have come twice now as I work across the street. Not only was the online ordering a super smooth process but my food was ready within a few minutes of me walking in the building during lunch time rush is impressive! This is the best messy burger I have ever had the pleasure of stuffing my face with. So I'll preface this and say that I don't eat burgers, but everyone else I go here with does, AND I had the veggie burger, so I think I can review it. I get the veggie burger which is not a patty, but grilled fresh mushrooms, onions, and cheese on top; plus whatever other veggie toppings you like. Delicious. Everyone devours their burgers, and say that they are amazing as well. Everything is fresh, not frozen, and cooked to order right there. Oh, and only get one order of fries for two people because they give you at least three servings. They are so good. Great place- BUT they only have beef, so don't expect to get a chicken sandwich. Without a doubt the BEST burger in town. Everything is fresh not frozen and made when you order. Plenty of choices for toppings on your burger or dog. Then there are the fries. Hand-cut on site. Cooked only as needed and taste amazing. You get way more than you expect when you are ordering so be careful... don't let your eyes be bigger than your stomach. The most unpleasant experience in a long time. I sat there and watched 3 employees try to figure out who was on the grill to cook orders. Proceeded to watch as the "shift manager" finally put my hotdog on the grill after 6 minutes. All the while she was asking another employee if they wanted a single patty cause she had an extra one cooked. Watched her playfully swat at his groin area while waiting for the food to cook. She also proceeded to speak with the young man who was taking orders and lifting her feet up off the ground and kiced it up towards him. Her feets bottom should never be off the floor, let alone a 90 degree angle while food prep is being done. Told another customer to wait for cup tops (as nothing in the restaurant was stocked). I was told that they were short staffed. I can understand being short staffed. But to be short staffed and be completely unprofessional, all while not completing tasks in an efficent manner is absurd. Horrible management. Disgusting behavior. I went there a few days ago, and I will never do it again. We ordered hot dogs, and asked for sauerkraut. I expressed my surprise that it was not offered, and the young lady taking orders seemed annoyed. The grill crew took their time making our hot dogs. It took about 15 minutes to make in an almost empty place. I have grilled many hot dogs in my life and I know exactly how long it takes. The mostly very young workers seemed more interested in bantering with each other than doing their jobs. That was not the worst of it. The floor was covered with trash. It does not take much effort to have someone push a broom around every once in a while. Perhaps the worst was that there were several pallets of food ingredients piled up in the dining room. At one point, someone pulled a bag of fries off the pallet, presumably to be cooked. Shouldn't that be frozen? I would imagine that health inspectors would love to hear about that. read more

I truly do not understand what constitutes the buzz this restaurant chain seems to be creating. I was born and raised in Southern California and therefore I KNOW what a good burger is, AND I work very hard for my paycheck each week so I know the value of a dollar. Five Guys does not impress either my taste buds or my wallet. To say that the burger is "bad" would be disingenuous, but to say that it is "awesome" is at best a misrepresentation and at worst, a flat out lie. The five guys burger is not any better than any burger you might get at a mom&pop burger joint, it's on par with the new Thick Burger at Hardee's, although I much prefer the Thick Burger over Five Guys. The five guys burger is no better than a burger you would BBQ at home. The fries at Five Guys are BIG, one order will serve 3 people easily, which, if you're with 2 other people is great I suppose, but most often times I am not. The fries themselves are not to my personal liking because they leave the skin on them rather than peel them, and they're just too limp and too greasy. Again, I could make a french fry of this quality in a frying pan at home, I can make a BETTER french fry in my Fry-Daddy deep fryer. Lastly is the cost of a trip to Five Guys, I paid well over $10.00 for the small hamburger, fry and a medium fountain drink...that is ridiculous! Their prices seem way,Way out of line to me, particularly when compared to the quality of the food, which although not horrible, certainly doesn't justify the price paid, in my humble opinion. read more

Father of 2 girls (3 and 4 years old). We've always had problems with finding things for our 3 year old to eat because she's so picky, but whenever we eat here, she LOVES the hotdogs! Both like the free peanuts while we wait for our order to be cooked. My wife dislikes when I take the girls to get fast food, but she seems to be less concerned when I mention going to Five Guys, I guess its transparent and you're able to see what you're getting and how's its prepared vs ur typical McD's or anywhere else. I'm sure its more healthy than those places too. Compared to your backyard bbq hotdogs and cheeseburgers, which is a good thing. I'm not sure you can get better than your own backyard bbq? :-) The fries are fresh, hand cut from a sack of potatoes and fried, kind of reminds me of how my grandma used to prepare homemade fries back in South Carolina. Whenever someone asks where to get the best burger at, 1st place that rolls off my tongue is Five Guys Burgers. I'm simple, so mustard, catchup, pickles and cheese on my burger is perfect, so I can't confirmed what others may say about how the burgers are sloppy? If I had anything negative (if at all) would be the price, when we go its around $23+/- for the 4 of us. Like many have mentioned, just order one fry because they hook the fries up. $23 may seem like alot for cheeseburger & hotdogs but you also aren't ordering off the $1 menu and you sure aren't getting a $1 burger, so to compare this place with Hardees, McDonald's or etc is unfair. Five Guys by far exceeds the quality and taste of those places. My opinion is the burgers are just as good as u can cook on a grill at home, way better than any other fast food place, but quality of food of a sit down restaurant without having to wait and tip. With kids you have about 45 mins, any time over that and the kids become restless, at Five Guys things move along much faster than a Duffys or Outback, so you won't have to worry about the timing issue. With this location you always have backup ammo to use just incase because Cold Stone Ice Creme is next door "settle down or no ice creme for you??"
