I tried their bacon cheeseburger, large Cajun fries, and Oreo shake. The bacon cheeseburger I ordered with everything, but mushroom. Also, I added jalapenos and A-1 sauce. They messed up my order by putting mushrooms on it. I double-checked my receipt and it is clearly indicated that I didn't want mushrooms. So, I had to pick off the mushrooms. More than that, the cheeseburger fell apart in my hands; so, something is wrong with the bread they use. Maybe they need slightly larger buns. Once I fixed my cheeseburger, I can admit that it did taste good. The Cajun fries were good, but not anything special. I've had better fries at other locations. The Oreo shake was half the size that I was expecting. Some say that the place isn't known for their shakes, so it doesn't matter. I say, then why are shakes on the menu in the first place? if you are going to sell something it better be competitive. Again, way overpriced for what you get. Actually, all the food is overpriced for what you get. The place was extremely busy on Sunday at lunchtime. That is to be expected. But, they seemed short staffed. I waited 20 minutes for my order. Even though they were trying really hard to keep up with orders, you could see the disorganization in the back. They may need to hire one or two more helpers or something. Good news is they wore gloves at least when preparing the food. The place was crowded. It was hard to move around. Too many seating locations made everything uncomfortable. In the end, I simply felt like I didn't get what I ordered, and a bit shafted by how much I spent for what I actually got. I won't be going back to Five Guys Burgers and Fries purposely. Five Guy's Burgers and Fries has the best burgers in the area, along with their fries. Caujun fries and fry sauce is amazing, and their hot dogs are almost better than their burgers! However, the grilled cheeses are bland for their price, and the vegi sandwiches are only good if you get a lettuce wrap. Very friendly and charismatic workers! read more

I love Five Guys! The burgers are good sized with fresh ingredients. The fries are made from scratch (bags of raw potatoes line the walls of the restaurant) and are some of the best in town. The Cajun fries in particular are very good. A large fry gets you a very generous serving, even for two people. Unlimited free peanuts are offered as an appetizer while you wait for your food, which is a unique bonus. To cap it all off, they usually play classic rock on their radio. Two thumbs up! read more

This East-coast bastion for carnivores finally invades Utah. They made their bones in the Washington DC metro area, and have dominated the mid-Atlantic Zagat ratings for years. Now you can see why. The Eastern style burgers (not an avocado in sight) are made of freshly ground and seasoned beef, gently pressed together, and made to order. That is why they are so flavorful and juicy. Standard accoutrements such as lettuce, tomato, onions, grilled onions, mushrooms, etc are no extra charge. In a nod to Western tastes, they also offer jalapenos. The regular burger has two thick patties while the 'little" burger is a single. I agree that the flavor is similar to In-N-Out (which I like very much) but the fries here are much better...the small portion is generous enough for two. I love five guys burgers & Fries but won't be back to the sandy location. Every time I go there it takes a long time to get the food & it's always made wrong :( all I want put on it is mushrooms, mayo and cheese. They seem to always put onions on my cheeseburger yuck! I don't eat there very often because it's expensive to eat out but I have been craving it and wanting it.... then I couldn't even enjoy it since there were onions on it. read more

If you want a burger with a single patty, you need to order one of the little burgers. You can customize your burger however you want. What an over rated place. I don't get it. It must be people that enjoy gorging themselves on over priced burgers. Nearly 1500 calories if you just order a cheeseburger and fries. Burgers are juicy and good. Cheese is crappy and would like some different options besides no cheese or just american. French fries are phenomenal but in all seriousness who can eat that many fries. They give you way too many and you wind up tossing the majority of them. I feel they are fairly expensive due to the amount they charge you for fries. I wish they had a combo meal that had the burger and fries together for a better price. The seating sucks as well as their tables are crammed together and you can barely move around the place. read more

Very disappointed today. I haven't had five guys for a long time and was looking forward to going with my boyfriend. We ordered as usual and waited an average amount of time. My boyfriend had a cheeseburger and Cajun fries- and I had a lettuce wrap. When the employee handed my boyfriend our bag, he brought it to the table and reached in to pull out our food. He pulled his hand out and it was DRENCHED. Whoever wrapped the lettuce wrap barely covered it and it had completely fallen apart. The fries in the bag were all soaked! I normally am not a stickler for fast food quality but I had a problem with how the employees talked. I took my boyfriends cheeseburger out and took the bag back up to the cashier an asked for a new wrap and fries. She apologized and told the cooks that I needed a new one. All three of the other employees rolled their eyes and thought they were whispering about how much of a "diva" and annoyance I was for the simple request. About 5 minutes later one of the cooks leaned over the counter to ask me what my order was. I told him it was a wrap and he went back to make it. My boyfriend finished his burger and we waited a few more minutes before I got my wrap from the cook. I asked him how much longer the Cajun fries were going to be and he gave me a confused look. With an annoyed voice he told me that I would have to wait a few more minutes if I wanted them. (Ummm of course I did... I paid for them) I said that was fine and went back to my seat. I opened my wrap and started to eat when I noticed that it was plainnnnn. I ordered it with everything on it! I sucked it up and ate a few bites. It was mediocre. Too dry for me so I threw it away and waited for the fries instead. Sure enough had to keep waiting for those too. And when they were brought out- not only were they gooey, but they were pain fries. Not Cajun. Like I had ordered. Again- usually not a stickler but the service was horrendous. 100% never going to eat here again. read more
