Patty melts are delicious. I love the fries too but nothing beats the patty melt. It definitely gets loud and busy so make sure you are prepared to either deal with the noise or eat outside. read more

I had a great experience at this location. I went during my lunch break. There were others there, but it wasn't too busy. The woman I ordered from was patient with me as I took my time. I ended up getting a cheeseburger and fries. I didn't realize the cheeseburger comes with two patties, so be sure to order the little one if you only want one. It was a substantial amount of food! It was really good. They have a soda machine with Diet Coke. I used their restroom and it was really clean. I also liked the red paper towel dispenser to fit their branding. They have complimentary peanuts available which I think is super fun. I'd recommend this location for sure. read more

I placed a pick up order tonight and the meal was ready within literally a minute of walking into the store. The food was hot and ready to go. The staff was friendly and professional. We have always gotten great food and service when we have come to this location. read more

five guys is the best fast food place I have ever bin and they have free PENAUTS IT IS THE BEST

Nestled in between two other famous hamburger joints, Five Guys by far surpassed the other two both in taste, and quality to me. Made to order, not pre-made, with the toppings of your choice. Lots of basic hamburger toppings to choose from , including jalapenos. They also have hot dogs, veggie, BLT, or grilled cheese sandwiches. Nice size homemade fries cooked in peanut oil. Small, medium or large size fries which are really good. The potatoes at this location helm from Idaho. Soda's are from the Coca-Cola family including Dasani water. If you want something sweet try one of their milkshakes all mix-ins are free. read more

All of our hamburgers were made fresh on the spot, and everyone agreed that they were delicious. Crispy french fries made fresh and to perfection -- they're cooked in peanut oil which gives them an added layer of yum. Just delightful. For some reason, the five guys app wasn't working but that's not their problem. I just came in and ordered on the spot. Which was nice because the food was handed off to me fresh and hot. There were a few older teenagers and young adults working tonight, so they were being a little bit silly and loud while they were assembling burgers. You've got to make your job fun somehow. :) This isn't a complaint, rather positive acknowledgment that if you allow your employees to be their authentic selves then they're likely to have higher morale and do the job in a truly positive manner. All the employees appeared to be in a great mood, and I myself left in a happy mood, chuckling at their funny banter and silly voices. :) read more

Consistently on point. Never disappoints. I like how they give you so many fries, and I love the Cajun fries. Specially with wine. Staff's friendly and efficient, and there's always good music playing and peanuts to eat whilst (haha "whilst") you wait not very long for your food. Go there if you want, or don't if you don't want. I'm still going. read more

Came here today for some burgers and fries with my dad. We ordered and waited for our food and when we received it, we were just handed the burgers and told that there are no fries. Apparently their fryer was broken even before we ordered and they still had us go through with the transaction without telling us ANYTHING. I would have rather gone to a place and spent my money there, that had what I ordered, instead of being given false hope that our food was going to come out like we ordered it. It will take some good convincing to get me to to come back here again. read more

5 guys is consistent wherever you go. A custom Cheeseburger, seasoned fries, and a chocolate shake is the way to go here. Fast service for the quality. read more

As burgers places go, this place is way better than In n Out. The fries are fresh and they list the place that they came from on the wall ...and they have potato bags piled up as you enter. I really like the atmosphere of this place. I always get the burger wrapped in lettuce with tomatoes and mushrooms. It's a bit messy but worth it, since I don't eat flour. My husband and daughter like the burgers. He got the bacon cheeseburger and gives it 4 stars. She got a little cheeseburger and couldn't finish it. Very filling. read more

Five Guys - Where you order - Burgers Near Me - Midvale, Utah

Big. Juicy. Burgers. That's the tweet. But seriously, Five Guys has some of the biggest patties and the widest selection of toppings for any fast causal burger chain I know. A "little hamburger" comes with one patty, while the "hamburger" comes with two--keep that in mind if it's your first time going. The fries are pretty good flavor wise, but I'd love to see Five Guys drain the grease more--don't be shocked if by the time you pick up your order and take it to your table, there are grease spots on the bag from where the fries touch. (Obviously a burger and fries isn't the healthiest of options, but I don't need a literal grease trap with my food.) read more

Good food but I think they have priced themselves out of the burger market. I am starting to understand the long lines at the competitor around the corner. Too much competition in the burger market to be at the price point they are at. read more

I like the other Five Guys. They do gluten-free very well. They don't have a big menu but you certainly can get him or anywhere you want. So when I walked into the lunch rush and found an empty joint, I was very surprised. Well I was debating what to get somebody came and pick up a big Uber Eats order. The staff apologize that my food was taking so long. I told him I wasn't in a rush it was OK. Let's just say that the only good thing about this meal is at the fries were hot. The burger tasted like it was not seasoned at all. There wasn't much flavor. Fries were over salted. Staff was friendly and the place was clean. read more

This location is close to my office and I've eaten lunch at this Five Guys twice in the past two weeks. I don't know if the quality at Five Guys has changed or if my preferences have changed, but their burgers and french fries aren't as good as they used to be, in my opinion. On my recent visits to their Five Guys, the french fries were soft and served barely warm. They weren't crisp or hot, like I was expecting, and what's generally typical of Five Guys. The french fries at Five Guys have been among my favorites for years, but the french fries these past two visits were downright disappointing. Has Five Guys increased their prices recently? I'm not sure. But $13 for a Little Bacon Cheeseburger, Little French Fry, and Small Drink seems expensive to me. They are charging almost gourmet burger pricing for a burger that's hardly gourmet. The beef patty is underseasoned and almost flavorless, the bun is soft and substance-less, and the toppings (grilled onions, cheese, and ketchup) are nothing special. For the American classic, a hamburger and french fries, I'm going elsewhere next time and skipping Five Guys... read more

I'm going to break tradition with my normal review format because I honestly don't have a lot to say here. To date, I haven't preferred to review any place that is a large chain (for a few reasons). That said, I had never been to Five Guys before and so thought to try it as a "quick burger lunch" as most people seemed to speak highly of it. The hamburger has a notable, nice charred taste to it. Looking online now, I see that they use non-frozen patties and cook them well done so for me this warrants points to them as I value both of those things. I ordered a hamburger with grilled jalapeños, grilled mushrooms, mustard, mayonnaise, and lettuce and believe it or not, this was the most tasteless hamburger I may have ever eaten. I think what it comes down to is that the patty is COMPLETELY unseasoned (or very much seems to be). It simply tastes like plain hamburger meat...no salt even. Okay, so that may not necessarily be a bad thing for all but it certainly took me aback because it was notably tasteless (aka unseasoned). The hamburger is of a good portion size and filled me up well. I didn't realize the "regular" hamburger had two patties. I ordered a small size of Cajun fries. That turned out to be more than enough as the burger nearly filled me up completely. I don't know what seasoning is used but paprika seems to the predominant one and it was pretty much overpowering. My wife had the regular fries and we both agreed that too much salt was used on those. The interior is nice, clean, with red and white covering most of the aesthetic presence. Interestingly, there are actually free peanuts you can shell and eat while you wait for your food. That's a nice touch. All in all, I'm not against going back but I think In N' Out will get preferential treatment. In summary, Five Guys for me is best encapsulated by, "under-seasoned hamburger, over-seasoned fries." ...okay, maybe I did have a lot to say. read more

Five Guys - Burgers Near Me - Midvale, Utah

The shortest move in the history of franchise restaurants may have occurred in Midvale at The Shops at Fort Union. For those who miss the Five Guys at 1146 E Fort Union Blvd....partake the Five Guys at 1082 Fort Union Blvd! Or, in other words, where the Dickey's used to be. Let's face it, what makes every Five Guys great is the food: 1. Awaiting your order by cracking open a whole bunch of peanuts, 2. The all-the-way cheeseburgers (Lettuce, tomatoes, grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, ground beef, American cheese, ketchup, mustard, and mayo) 3. The overflowing cup of Idaho-potato-made fries. 4. Finishing up with a smooth, packed with goodness shake. I can't fault the epic food. It's awesome. However, there is a bit of disappointment in the new location. It's smaller than 1146, and it seems odd for them to do all this remodeling to a less user-friendly space. But I'm glad they're back at The Shops at Fort Union. I'll be going All the Way again and again! read more

Came into your establishment on 10/15/20 @ 7:02:46 PM. Order ID: AABK9JPCACON. My wife ordered 1 Bacon Cheeseburger w/Bacon, Mayo, Grilled Mushrooms wrapped in lettuce. That was fine. My order on the other hand, a Quad Patty BACON Cheeseburger w/BACON, Mayo, Lettuce, Pickles, Tomatoes, Grilled Onions, Grilled Mushrooms, also wrapped in lettuce. First of all, the order taker Alexander is an idiot. I told him I wanted double the meat you put on a double bacon cheeseburger. And I also want it wrapped in lettuce. It took 2 corrections and further explanation for him to understand I wanted 4 pattys. Nevertheless and in spite of further clarification: 1. It came on a bun. 2. It came WITHOUT bacon. I attempted to call in and your voicemail box is full. One would think that for $32 and change our order would at the very least be right. read more

For $14 you would think you could get your burger topped how you want it. Even when you are clear and twice repeat your request? Wrong. They'll make it how they'll make it. Would love to see some care and attention from this team. read more

Ordered a little bacon cheeseburger to take home. To my surprise, I took the burger out of its bag and realized that it simply did not have bacon. How could someone possible forget the main ingredient in a burger called "little BACON cheeseburger"? I would understand if it was something else, but this proofs that it must have been done purposely. I am highly disappointed. If I'm paying extra for bacon, I need to see it in my burger; otherwise, this is simply called stealing. read more

Five Guys - Do you see any bacon in my little BACON cheeseburger? - Burgers Near Me - Midvale, Utah

I've eaten here three or four times now. The burgers are consistently prepared as ordered which often doesn't happen, particularly in takeout food experiences. The fries are always fresh and perfectly prepared . I find the restaurant to be clean and the servers to be polite. read more

No more Five Guys for me in Salt Lake. I drove 15 min out of my way because the closest location stopped doing curbside pickup in the midst of a pandemic and while this location offers it, I had to convince an associate with a five minute call and back and forth to bring my order out. No thank you. Your burgers are good but not to die for. read more

Five Guys - a woman sitting at a table in a fast food restaurant - Burgers Near Me - Midvale, Utah

The service was great and my order was ready really quick. All I got was a bacon cheeseburger and a small fry. All i asked for on my burger was lettuce tomato and ketchup and they forgot everything except the ketchup. Very odd. Good otherwise though! read more

I got the regular cheeseburger and a small order of fries. The quality at this restaurant is the same as other Five Guys I have visited before. The staff is lively and fun. The place was spotless. They observed social distancing, required masks, and the employees wore gloves and masks. Will definitely return. I live Five Guys MUCH BETTER than In-And-Out Burgers. read more

Had lunch yesterday with a co worker and we both have food poisoning. Not going back here ever again.

Good food . Wait was long . I feel fries getting less and less , they used to be bigger

I don't know if the girl who put my order together was sitting pretty doing her makeup or actually working because it took them 3 tries to never get my order right and end up getting a refund for a regular Cajun fry. Really that hard to get a regular Cajun fry order right? read more

The food is great and the soda fountains have so many sodas. Also the Cajun fries are SO GOOD. Service is great and we live near one.

I unfortunately didn't catch his name but my receipt says Lednac A... was absolutely awesome. Very nice fast and all about the customers! I wouldn't waste your time unless you want them to mess up your order. We got it to go. Head home and some of our ingredients were missing. Paid extra so I could drive back so they could fix their error. No apologies. Nothing. Waste of money and time. read more

The employees here are nice. Some reviews said otherwise but my experience was fine. The 2 stars is for the burger and fries. For 15 dollars I would expect a little better. The regular fries I got in the cup were barely filling the cup. My burger couldn't have been prepared worse. I don't think it would be possible to smash the party any more than they did. It was thin, crumbling, and kinda burnt. The cheese wasn't even melted so it was nice to have some good cold cheese on a crumbly burger. Usually my experience is a little better but this Friday night it was very poor. The burger was not worth the wait or cost. read more

Wow what a disappointment! Most of our order was incorrect. I would not recommend this location. The other locations are far more superior.

I honestly don't know why the reviews are so low. This is the closest location to us and we love it. The staff is always so nice and our food never disappoints. We also did pick up during the outbreak and I had to go in but there was nobody in there other than the staff and they were all wearing masks and gloves so no issue for me. Damn I really like five guys, but this place really screwed the pooch. I ordered a BLT which I feel is a pretty simple thing to not fuck up, but I must be wrong. This BLT shows up and I'm excited to dig in and really enjoy myself, I took my first bite and honestly it was like Sandman blowing a load in my throat. The bacon was burnt to shit and had the same taste as a pile of dirt. Next time I'll just be walking to the lake and grabbing a handful of sand to eat. Fucking save myself some money.
