Went here post hike on a Saturday and they weren't busy. I got the bacon cheeseburger (3.5/5) and it for sure hit the burger craving! Only complaint is that I got bacon, I saw bacon, but somehow I couldn't really taste bacon, so I advise against getting the bacon lol. The bun was a bit too soft for my liking as well. This isn't really a place I would go to often because they're a bit pricier than in n out, but I'll still go every once in a while lol

Decent sized indoor seating area. Hee

I have never been to this particular five guys before, but I was pleasantly surprised I was able to call and make a phone order. I don't have a five guys app, nor do I know if they even have one, but it was nice to speak to a live person And make a phone call order as I was on my way there. The gentleman on the phone said I could order the burgers ahead of time, but he would not make the fries until I was there in person which I really appreciated so the fries weren't soggy or too greasy. As I walked in the restaurant was almost empty, but there was a line of five people in front of me, so I was very happy. I was able to make a Phone order ahead of time and just stand in line to pay for my order. After I paid for my order, I was able to pick up my french fries along with the burgers in about a five minute wait time. I really like how open this area/lobby area is for seating, but I'd rather eat outside personally. And they don't have much of an outside seating area. On this particular evening, we were just getting takeout, so it was easy to grab my burgers and go. I was happy with their service and I will be back.

Food still same quality (hot and tasty) but price has increased way to much. Paid 14.21 for a bacon cheeseburger! Also needed to go back to get my actual card since there Apple Pay was not working.

Ketchup packets in the bottom of the fries

Definitely good burgers and fries, staff is young but attentive. The restaurant is a tad sloppy but maybe they're just running behind. Kinda pricey but that is becoming the norm. I would recommend the ketchup in a small separate container considering how many other things are being touched. This seems very sloppy and I regretted eating these when I saw all the ketchup packets in the bottom of the bag eeewww.

The Five Guys standard burger comes with 2 patty's, little burger comes with 1 patty. Each patty must be a quarter pound cooked well done. I felt into a food coma after eating the standard burger. I recommend getting the little burger. All toppings are included in the price. The frys is freshly cut. Because it is cut thicker, it doesn't come out crispy, but still very good. The large frys can feed 4 people. They are generous on the portion. While your waiting for your food, help yourself to some complimentary roasted peanuts. There very good. If your looking for a hardy meal, the Five Guys burger will fill you up. The flat pricing for any topping on the burger is great.

Veggie Sandwich with Cheese

I love this Five Guys! Came in for an early dinner with the parents and the dude that took our order was really nice. I got the Vegetable Sandwich with comes with green peppers, mushrooms, lettuce, tomato & grilled onions. I added cheese and mayo..so bomb. If I MUST be a stickler, the cheese could've been melted a bit more. But nonetheless it was soooo delicious. One thing I always remember about 5guys is that they are extremely generous with their fries. A small is already a pretty cool amount, but the large is a feast for 3. Their fries are always so fresh, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. The cajun seasoning on them is a hit.

We ordered food from DoorDash. I got the cheeseburger and fries. Burger didn't seem as greasy as before when I had it like 8+ years ago. Maybe because it's not as hot since it's delivery. The burger kept falling apart probably due to the toppings. I got almost "everything" added. The lettuce and tomato kept falling out. The burger itself was good. The fries were soggy and soft so I wouldn't get the fries again.

This location is pretty close to SmallBurger. Both are solid options, I have a slight preference to Five Guys.

Had food to-go. Burgers tasted good and were juicy. Good peanuts available while waiting. Fries very soggy and oily.

This eatery sells Colombian burgers and fast food for pick-up or delivery only, from a building…read moreshared with the Center for Employment Training in downtown SJ. This is their current location, but I don't think it's their permanent place of business. Just for the time being. Google maps will take you to a parking lot entrance that's closed, blocked by a chain, so make sure you enter the parking lot on Locust Street. I ordered online, and the wait time was a bit long (20+ minutes) but not terrible. And once you arrive, there's a sign near the parking lot directing you to walk down an alley-like path. No signs at the door, just a dumpster outside. Yup, that's where you pick up. It feels like you're walking through the back door of a restaurant kitchen. Actually when you step inside, it indeed IS the kitchen which doubles as a pickup spot (no seats, no signs, I just showed the guy my order on my phone and he handed me my food packed neatly in a paper bag). I got the perro loco which comes with fries on the side, and an arepa with cheese. I didn't like that customers can't customize items when ordering online for pick up. Also wasn't a fan of the pineapple sauce, though I think that's one of the things they're known for. But the hot dog was still good, generous with the toppings and certainly unique. The sausage was plump and juicy with a mild flavor. The fries were delicious as well, and didn't taste cheap. And the mini arepa with cheese was buttery and had a nice texture. Altogether it made for a filling meal.

The menu is extensive with a mix of options (including a vegetarian burger). I ordered El Apto which came with a beef patty, bacon, shredded chicken, lettuce, tomato...all between a brioche bun. This came with fries and a side of pineapple sauce and apto sauce. I dipped my fries in the apto sauce and it was so good! The pineapple sauce goes well in the burger and also on the fries. The beef patty was perfectly seasoned and so juicy. All the flavors were amazing and tasted so fresh. I loved the crispy bacon and the shredded chicken. The chicken was well flavored and they put an ample amount on top of the burger. Wow! What a great combo. I also tried the maracuya (passion fruit) drink and it was so good! I like that it wasn't too sweet. It's fresh and refreshing. They are pretty busy because it's their opening so there might be a wait but it's totally worth it. There are tables around for you to sit so it's casual. The owner is so nice and you can tell he is very proud of his food. Highly recommend!!

The hostess was very friendly and showed us to our table. We had a table inside, which was an intimate upscale casual area with a bar. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms for a starter. It was so hard to pick one because everything on the menu sounds so good. Alas, I have a small appetite. The mushrooms were very tasty and a nice start to our meal. For entrees, we had the halibut and prime filet with a side of broccolini. Everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Drinks are on the pricey side- I had a Hero Old Fashioned and the Taylor Made, $20 each. They were nicely crafted, so worth the price. They brought out a Carmel Popcorn Sundae for my husband's birthday and even gave him a birthday card which I thought was a nice touch. Service was slow and steady. We had ample time to enjoy our food without feeling rushed, but never felt like our server forgot about us. We spent about 2 hours for dinner. Probably not a place to go if you're in a hurry. I'm eager to return and try some more of the starters. It's the kind of place I'd love to take out of town guests - high quality fine dining in a casual and relaxed environment.

The restaurant had a nice visual ambience, but also felt casual as there was a lot of chatter, which isn't a bad thing depending on what you're looking for. Our waiter was especially friendly and helped us decide what to order. I really wish I could remember his name, as I'm posting this a bit late, but he was a huge reason why we had a great experience! Here's a quick rating on the food itself: Stuffed mushrooms (3.5/5): This was recommended by the waiter as a favorite among patrons. The mushrooms weren't bad or anything, but for some reason, it gave me combination pizza vibes that I wasn't expecting. It was good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to order it again personally. Bone-in ribeye (5/5): an amazing cut that was cooked perfectly. Exactly what you would expect from a good steakhouse. The compound butter was fantastic! Bone-in apricot glazed pork chop (3.5/5): this one may hit different for different folks. The pork was perfectly cooked and juicy, but the apricot glaze was definitely a little too sweet for our palettes. If you're looking for something more savory, I might try something else. But hey, sweet might be your thing too! Caramel popcorn sundae (4.5/5): we got this one complimentary for being our special day, which was a really nice surprise! And it was a full serving! This one was obviously sweet, but surprisingly more subdued than it sounds, which was really nice! Overall, it was truly a memorable night with great food. And though some things didn't quite work for our palettes, I can totally see that it may for others--so that didn't impact my ratings because they were still good--just not for us. That said, the care that we received on our anniversary was what truly made me land on a 5/5 rating. Definitely coming back for future special occasions!
