Skip it. I have been here twice and both times the service was terrible. No one gives a s&@! About what they are doing and even though they have few customers the attitude here is that they don't care. Both times I ordered I had to go back to get the complete order. The owner needs to sit in during lunch time to get a feel for how bad it is. I love 5 Guys but I will not ever go back to this location. If I could give negative stars . . . Tonight my family and I decided to stop in and grab a bit to eat since it has been raining all day so long story short the little girl they have working at the register who's name is Melanie E. needs some customer care training because she is very rude. I was treated very very poorly for wearing American Flag attire and a MAGA hat ON THE 4th of July. I walked up to the counter to get my online order and they told me it wasn't ready, and would be 15-20 mins...when there was literally 5 other people in the restaurant. I sat back and watched multiple other people walk in, place their order and walk out. After 30 minutes, I walk back to the counter and ask if my order was ready and they said that they had no idea I was in the building and I should have let them know. Easy parking and clean dinning room. Bacon cheese burger was a little dry, but had great flavor. This location has really changed...it used to be a decent fast food spot. Today I ordered online and my food wasn't ready for 45 min! I even gave them some extra time to have my order ready due to COVID,etc. It is supposed to be fast food right? They had 5-6 people working. I placed an order in the app at 8:51pm, the five guys location I ordered to closes at 10:00pm. Went to go pick up the order and the doors were locked. There were 5 employees inside and they all ignored me. Wouldn't even give me the decency of treating me like a human being and acknowledging my existence. At this point I just wanted to be refunded since it was clear I wasn't going to receive the food that I had already paid for. I cannot even describe how incredibly rude every single employee at this location was. All 5 of them just ignoring customers and continuing to clean and close up shop 1 HOUR BEFORE CLOSING TIME. If you have to close early, fine. But do not allow customers to continue to place and pay for orders online/in the app. Such disgusting customer service. I love Five Guys! Anytime you can customize your food like you can here you know you have a winner. I always get the cheeseburger which comes with 2 patties and 2 slices of cheese. After you stack on all of your veggies you have a massive burger. For the HIMYM fans out there, remember that episode where the crew is looking for that perfect burger joint? Well, this is it! I swear I had the same reaction the first time I took a bite. One thing I need to warn you about. You really want to eat the burger there while it's fresh and hot. I've taken my food back home to eat before and it's just not the same. I would suggest not taking out unless you absolutely have to. Everyone swears their fries are the best, but I honestly don't find them special at all. Cajun or not, they are average at best. Another issue I have with this chain is that they don't offer any shakes even after going for the retro look. Mooyah has a HUGE leg up when it comes to this. I guess I'll be visiting both until Five Guys wakes up and expands their menu. Bottom line: Five Guys has the best burger you can find. I honestly don't see why this place is so popular. This is *not* In-N-Out, not by a far stretch. First off, the burgers are very small and very dry. Also the normal sized burgers just have two patties, they aren't bigger. The fries are not bad, but I've had better. Also, extremely overpriced for what you get. Basically a junior burger and a regular fries for $8-9. Until In-N-Out gets here, you are better off with a local hamburger place. read more

Missing our favorite, In-N-Out, we were told that 5-guys is similar to this joint. They were right! Although it is not the same it has a similar concept. When you first order you have TONS of options for toppings. It was a bit overwhelming at first, but once I found my favs and I was ready. Their fries are fresh cut and were delicious. In all honesty, there's absolutely nothing wrong with this place. But there's nothing that great about it either. The burgers were pretty average, I guess the 3 stars is because there's nothing there that would really compel me want to go back there again. It's an average burger joint. Since the burgers are cooked on a flat cool top instead of a grill, it helps the juices stay in the patty, unfortunately that also means the grease does too. My stomach definitely didn't handle all that grease too well later that night. While personally I wouldn't go back, I'd certainly recommend this place to anyone who hasn't tried it before. read more

This burger place likes to toot its own horn. The walls are adorned with copies of reviews, news articles, and awards this place has one for being "a best buy" and/or "best burgers." Upon examining these posters more closely I realized that they are all from the East Coast region of the United States which left me with the obvious conclusion, people on the East Coast wouldn't know a good hamburger if it hit them in the face. The burgers were not bad by any means, but it was not a great as their posters made it sound. Just another burger joint with descent fries and atmosphere. We were looking for some black-eyed peas for New Year's Day luck, but the Black-Eyed Pea was too crowded. I guess my husband thought hamburgers would do the trick. LOL. He said he'd read an article about how good Five Guys were and how they'd gotten kudos all over the place. Let me say I'd never heard of them. He said they were really big on the east coast. When you walk in, the line is formed by these huge bags of potatoes. The menu is really simple. Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Bacon Cheeseburger and same thing in smaller sizes. There are also hotdogs, grilled cheese and I think a veggie burger. All the toppings are free, so order what you want. Fries are either cajun or regular. The regular sized burgers are actually double meat burgers. If I'd have known I would have gotten the Little Burger. After paying, you get a number and wait. Our number was called about 10 minutes later. Everything is cooked to order. The burgers were good, slightly juicy and had a nice flavor. The fries are cut with skin on. They were pretty good, some were fried a little more than I normally like. It was pretty packed the day we went. It was so busy, nobody was cleaning tables, you had to clean your own. The floors were filthy. We were stepping on fries and condiments that others had dropped. Tables are very small and not much elbow room. You serve yourself peanuts from boxes sitting on top of the garbage cans...WHAT?! ! Yes, I said the garbage cans. That didn't stop my husband though. He loves his peanuts! ;-) Overall, they were just okay. I may try them again at a time that is not quite so busy. read more

Hubby and I went here for lunch a few weeks ago on a Friday. Here are my thoughts. Burgers: 3.5 Stars Very tasty and juicy but to be honest, about on par with a good Wendy's burger which is Zagat rated. Fries: 1 Star They dump them in a paper bag and before you can even sit down at your table, the grease has already started to seep through the bag. They're also not very tasty. I can't quite place exactly what it is that they're missing, but save your money and don't "make this a meal". Ambiance: 2 Stars The place is clean, but weekdays at noon are very busy and crowded and there really isn't enough room inside to accommodate the volume. The tables are also very cramped and its very likely that your table could be cramped up against a trash can (eww gross!). The other odd thing to me is that they serve roasted, peanuts in the shell. That just doesn't seem like a likely compliment to a burger. So... long story short. If you're looking for a good burger, this place is it, but skip the fries, order takeout, and avoid the weird, roasted peanuts in the shell. Watchout: Their menu has something called a "small burger". In layman's terms this is basically what most would consider a regular burger. By "small" they mean "one patty". The regular burger comes with two patties. I got the small burger, and it was a pretty generously sized patty. read more

Five Guys has been one of my favorite burgers for a while now. The burger is just SO good. Typically I'll get the "little" burger with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, mustard, mayo, and jalepenos. I like how they're careful to place the toppings in such a way they stay on the burger when you eat it. This was my first visit to this restaurant chain & honestly, I really wasn't all that impressed. Yes the burgers are huge, but for me they were too big. I've got small hands & it was difficult for me to open my mouth wide enough to take bites of the cheeseburger. The meat itself really didn't have any flavor nor did the french fries. So it really basically just did not appeal to my taste buds. Now it must appeal to a lot of people's because that place was extremely busy so I would say this, if you haven't been there before then I would just like going give it a try and see if their food appeals to you. In the words of Larry David (Curb Your Enthusiasm)....pretty, pretty, pretty good! These burgers are great! The prices are very reasonable, the staff is friendly and the fries runneth over..smile. To see if I alone thought this place was good I recruited a couple of burgers experts....my 2 sons. Both of them gave it two thumbs up & thought it was a notch above their previous favorite place, McDonalds. Prior to this new location I was only familiar with this chain when I visited Philadelphia and specifically Clifton Heights, PA. Always glanced at this joint while driving down Baltimore Pike, but never took the time to stop. Duhhh...what was I thinking??? I eat at this place about once every two weeks for lunch. It's open kitchen and floor plan is nice so you can see them cook your food. They do fresh cut french fries like other good burger joints and they even display which potato farm the days batch comes from. I always get the bacon cheese burger which is two patties of deliciously juicy beef two slices of cheese and a load of bacon. They offer a host of free toppings including grilled onions and mushrooms so get it "all the way" and you'll never have an In-N-Out burger again. They also have cajun spiced fries as an option. This place does a great job!! They cook the burgers well done, which I usually like mine medium. I couldnt really tell cause it was juicy (which is what you want.) I like that you can eat peanuts as you wait, it keeps the wait time not as bad. For the other reviews, you have to understand that there are different ways to cook a burger. You fry them on a cook top, and the juices remain. Or you "grill" them on a broiler. To each is own... I suggest if you like a flame broiled burger Scotty Ps is a good place. Just make sure you order it medium and no more than that, and you will get a fresh patty. Sometimes they "precook" the patties, so you may want to ask for a fresh one. This burger is awesome. I'd never been to Five Guys, despite a few locations being open in the area. One day I said, "screw it!", got in my car, and drove up here to the Plano/Frisco border. And boy was it worth it! Five Guys is everything that In-n-Out isn't: delicious and fast. In-n-Out prides themselves on their fresh-cut, natural fries. Their fries are gross. Five Guys, however, does fries right. There are bags and bags of potatoes lining the walls when you walk in. Yep, those bags contain the potatoes that will actually be your french fries. No frozen crap here. They're delicious: the right amount of crunchy while still being soft on the inside. Not overly salted or seasoned. Personally, I prefer the regular fries. I tried their Cajun fries once and wasn't blown away. They're good to try once (especially if you're dining in a group) though. Their burgers come in two sizes: little (1 patty) and regular (2 patties). Then load em up with toppings as you see fit. All the toppings (even mushrooms or grilled onions) are free, so go to town. The burgers are deliciously juicy and the patties aren't overly thick or thin. Everyone who was working here the 3-4 times I've been here have all been super friendly. They're happy to answer any questions you have and always call your order number out with a smile. As many have said, I do wish that they did milkshakes or something here, but Five Guys has come out on several occasions and said "No milkshakes". I've been going to Five Guys for years and most times I leave I wonder why I continue coming. After having not been for a while I decided on a whim to come because I wanted a burger and it's not to far from my job. I ordered the small bacon cheeseburger with mayo, pickles, grilled jalepenos a side of A1 steak sauce and a small fry. I noticed the price has gone up, I don't remember it costing this much for a small fry(granted they give you alot) and small burger. So i'm ready to dig in it smelled so good..... how can a fresh burger be so terribly mediocre? Unseasoned meat, bland pickles and cheese , even the bacon was lackluster which I thought was impossible and I don't know why they cut their jalepeno peppers in such large pieces, I prefer thinly sliced peppers but whatever. Another thing that puzzles me is the bun, the bun is shown no love, it's not even warmed just straight out the bag and that's it.
