My husband and I eat here all the time because frankly, this place serves the best burgers in Ogden. The servers are always very quick and so friendly, I have never had to wait more than a few seconds before being greeted. The place is always clean, comfortable, and I love that they play alternative/classic rock. I also seriously love their mix and match soda machine. The main reason we love it though, is the food. Tried to pickup pre paid delivery order from Ogden location on March 20th 2021 got there just after they closed there were employees finishing up one girl was right by door I knocked on door 3 times she just kept her head down wouldn't even give me the courtesy of opening door to see what I wanted other employees ignored me also extremely poor customer service read more

Have eaten at Five Guys in other locations and food has been very good. NotSo at this location. The burger was burned and even the bun was burned. The buns was totally squished and twisted. The fries were not cooked well and tasted strange. Worst of all... one of their jugs of peanut oil by the cash register was leaking so a towel was covering part of the oil. People were sliding like walking on ice. I asked the counter kid why the floor was so slippery & he pointed to the leaking jug. I asked him why it wasn't cleaned and muttered something like later. Delicious burgers! I also love their cajun fries. My only complaint is that their buns can get a bit soggy, and sometimes the burgers are SO messy it's hard to eat them without making a huge mess. But boy oh boy is it a delicious mess! read more

I used to go to five guys all the time when i lived in Baltimore. i was pregnant and hungry and could down 2 burgers with no problem. When i heard a five guys opened here in Ogden of course i biked on down for a double bacon burger and some fries! As soon as i walked in i felt like i was back on the east coast. I grabbed a handful of peanuts and put in my order: double bacon cheeseburger with everything on it. Yeah, i don't mess around when it comes to burgers. I also got a large order of fries ...just for good measure. In a jiffy my order was up, the bag was heavy with meaty goodness. I dove into that burger like it was my first meal off a deserted island. I think i got a bit too excited because halfway through i got the itis. Wha'ts the itis you ask? The itis is when you eat so much heavy food goodness that you start to get sleepy. Your stomach gets full and your eyes get doughy and you just know you could fall asleep face first in your meal if there weren't any strangers watching. So i got halfway through my burgers and barely dented my heaping pile of hand cut fries when the itis struck. I started slowing down and ended up having to share my masterpiece of a burger with my sweetie and girl child. I hated seeing them devour my prize! Curse my small stomach! This started as a 4. I got served a nice, juicy, not overcooked burger, had some of those good nuts, had to clean off my own table, but it was lunch rush and I wasn't bothered. Got myself some suds from the Coke Freestyle machine and was in good shape...but then I hit some stray onions. Ok, shit, that's nothing new...happens a lot. Lunch rush leads to kitchen sloppiness and no one really quite equates that vegetable with the poison that it is...I can deal. Not taking points away at all...until the end, when it's time to hit the bathroom before hitting the road again and what? I mean WTF? WTFF??!!?? You want me to go back to the counter to get a key? Nope and I'm out. I barely accept it from gas stations, but sure as Hell won't accept it from a restaurant. Ever. Permanently. There's your star deduction. Food was done mostly well...as long as you have intolerances and not actual allergies, but I can't back that other play at all. Never again. To have a burger my way, choose either single or double patty, add cheese, bacon, mushrooms, jalapenos, A-1 sauce and get thee face full. Messy, peanut shells all over the floor, semi busy. When we got to the register the girl behind it was nice enough to tell us there was a 30 minute wait. But proceeded to say they were under staffed and got negative with us. I was discussing with my wife whether to stay or go and there was nobody behind us. Im ashamed to admit that I've had my fair share of five guys throughout the years... They have always been a great experience with great food! Tonight we went to five guys and it's was mediocre to say the least. Burgers were okay, same quality you come to see from five guys. But what got me was how weak the fries were... Five guys is known for giving HEAPING amounts of fries, sometimes even filling your bag the rest of the way. Five guys have been made famous for this... Usually my favorite burger place... Maybe still is but I've come to expect a rediculous amount of fries no matter the size I order. The Cajun fries are the best fries on either side of the Mississippi. Joseph Smith himself couldn't fry up a better batch of potato sticks even if some angel guided him to God's golden plated fryer! Heck if you sauced up some good ole Cajun fries on Gordon Ramsey's "Hell's Kitchen" and lathered em up with a tad bit O Utah fry sauce you'd catch a fat W! No contest, cancel the show, they can't be beaten... But part of the reason for your glorious victory is the sheer mass of potatoes in that greasy paper bag. You order a large you're gettin a full bag of salty Spud Spears, medium at least an overflowing cup of Idaho agricultural pride, shoot even a small is normally enough to put ya in a potacoma! The other day I got a small Cajun and it was tiny! I was bummed to say the least. Five guys let me down with a not quite full cup of fries. When you have to have a burger and there's a 5 Guys nearby, then the choice is pretty easy for me. This one, is just like every other 5 Guys I've been to. Clean, good service, great prices and the best burgers in America of a fast food chain. And don't forget an order of their incredible fries. They have good burgers and fries, but don't live up to all the hype of 'burger heaven'. I think people around here in Utah like to over-hype things that are new to the area or they feel some special connection to a place by 'stumbling upon them' . I've driven by many time and heard of Five Guys but today was the first opportunity I had to stop in and enjoy a burger. So glad I did! Wish I had been warned about the size of the fries! We ended up giving our cup of fries to a family waiting with small children. We had our burgers lettuce wrapped due to gluten intolerance and made our choice of toppings...what a fun idea. My husband enjoyed the peanuts while we waited which left more fries for me! The burgers were juicy and very tasty. We will definitely eat here again and order a small fry to share! read more

I usually get the hot dog bc it's out of this world. Could be that Kosher makes the difference. Maybe. But I was really craving a burger so ordered that. The meat could've used a little salt. It was too bland for my taste. The fries were great. But I think what killed my joy was that when we had to use the RR we were told we had to unlock it with these keys that were attached to one foot long pvc pipe & the other what looked like a plastic wrench. Either key opened both the men a/o ladies room. In the RR there were no paper towels. So i left my foot long key holder in the sink. And wondered where other people put these oversized key holders. Do they have eColi on them if folks bring the key with them into the stall? Not a good finishing experience. read more

Love the burgers and fries. But the hot dog...not good. I am from the South...and I also attend Spring Training in Arizona...meaning good dogs in both places. You do not fry a dog. You do not separate the bun. Dogs are not fried...do not mess with the bun. Put a steamed dog in a soft bun and add fixings. Done. read more
