The Double Bacon Burger & fries are amazing along with the bacon/chocolate milkshake! The service was average for a fast food place that makes everything to order. I found the milkshake area and odd placement as that is a separate pick up area and you kinda have to go around people to pick it up. Over will be coming back for good food and milkshakes! Parking in the area is also convenient and not too much of a track!

The best burgers in Indy, I would go as far as saying the best burgers on the planet. This place does not feel like a chain, even though they are. One of the few times a limited menu is welcomed. They have burgers, fries and hot dogs, that's it, but what they do, they do extremely well. Tip: Two people can easily split a small fry. Four people can split a large fry. The do not hold back with their potatoes, and all are freshly cut and fabulous!

Big fan of Five Guys...seems like their presence has really exploded over the past few years since I see them everywhere. Honestly the novelty is sort of worn off for me...the burgers are still top notch and a small fry feeds at least two, but there are so many options you can consider not named "Five Guys". All that said...every once in a while I sincerely enjoy the caloric intake that Five Guys provides and will be back occasionally to indulge.

Ordered bacon cheeseburger with BBQ. Where's the beef? And the cheese? And the BBQ?

Food always arrives cold. Maybe that's GrubHub, but either way, you pay a premium for cold food.

Don't bother unless you're standing over them while they fill your order. What you ask for doesn't really matter. Go somewhere else.

The service is consistently great, and the food never disappoints. I started with the fried green tomatoes, which are some of the best you'll find in the Indianapolis area--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly done. The biscuits and gravy are a must-order. The biscuits taste freshly made, and you can really tell the restaurant prioritizes high-quality, farm-to-table ingredients. It's easily my go-to recommendation every time I visit. The ambiance is another highlight--intimate, cute, and welcoming. Even when it's busy, it never feels too loud or overwhelming. It's perfect for a casual date, catching up with friends, or even enjoying a solo meal with your laptop. Grindstone is truly a versatile spot that always delivers.

We still come from time to time because the service is always great and the vibe inside is so cozy and welcoming. It's a place we really enjoy sitting down at together, especially for a date night when we want something familiar and comfortable. That said, we have noticed the quality has gone down while the prices have gone up quite a bit. It doesn't quite feel like it used to in terms of food, but we still go back now and then to reminisce and enjoy the atmosphere.

I also signed up for birthday rewards so u got a free appetizer for that as well. You can't use both at the same time, just a FYI for yall. I got tower of onion rings for appetizer. Very crispy almost too hard. Comes with ranch dip and ketchup. The hibuscus margarita was perfect, not too sweet. There were soooo many food options I had a hard time choosing, but went with blackened salmon, mashed potatoes and creamed corn. Wow, I was not disappointed. The salmon was perfectly cooked and seasoned, moist and flavorful. I've never seen creamed corn on a menue, this had peppers and fried onions and was delicious. For my birthday they brought 2 scoops of ice cream with Carmel drizzled on top and whip cream and a cherry. My husband got the meatloaf which very good as well; moist and smothered in brown gravy. Everything was seasoned nicely; not bland at all. The atmosphere and the decor is fun and our server Liz was genuinely happy and helpful. Even their wardrobes were fun and garage themed. There are so many drink options including cocktails beer and wine. My grandson had chicken tenders and fries and loves cars BTW! They have outdoor seating which is heated in the weather and a real fireplace near the bar area. Had a really y nice, fun time and have so many options to come back for. You order at a counter and they call your name for pick up. They have a small seating area. There are four 4 top tables. There is one 6 top table. The tenderloin sandwich was large. You can get a large sandwich for $10.95 or an extra large for $13.95. They have over 20 different condiments to add to your sandwich. For sides, they have french fries, onion rings, mac & cheese, baked beans, and chips. They are priced separately. They serve Coke products, which we really like! Our tenderloin sandwich was served hot and fresh. We got it with lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onions. They have a variety of sauces you can add as well. Since the seating area is small, my wife snagged us a table while I went to the counter to order. This was probably our mistake. Our order was priced incorrectly in that we only got the tenderloin Tuesday discount on one of the tenderloin sandwiches. We probably both should have gone to the counter and ordered separately. We got sauces on the side and my wife got the ranch and I got the fiery ranch. However, when we picked up our bag at the counter, my sauce was not included, although it was on the printout of our ticket. So, technically you could say both our order and our bill were incorrect Although the bill, you could say, was also our fault since we did not order separately. That being said, we have gone to other establishments on Tenderloin Tuesday and had one bill and we both received the discount. The tenderloin sandwich was OK and fairly priced given market conditions. Would we return? If we were on the far east side of Carmel, we would stop in again. However, we would not drive all the way here from the far west side of Carmel just for the tenderloin sandwich. If you are near their location, stop by and give them a try. They were definitely busy and the staff was friendly.
