5 guys is always good. We usually order from this location 2-3 times a week Through Uber eats. It always shows up quick and fresh!

My girlfriend and I recently went to this Five Guys to catch up and have some lunch. She brought along her 3 year old, so that changes things a bit. The fries were good, but not great. The burger was ok, but not worth $8. And I regret not getting a milkshake, because that might have made my meal better. Other than the just ok food, I was a bit concerned with the layout of the restaurant. As I said, we brought along a 3 year old, so you know once they are done, they're ready to run around and explore whatever it is they're not supposed to. This place has piles of potato bags in the middle of the restaurant??? Maybe this is a "Five Guys" things, but it looked super unsafe and not at all appealing to my appetite. This particular location doesn't have a whole lot of seating, so I could definitely see it getting really crowded. I don't really understand the whole "Five Guys" trend. I'm a SoCal girl and this place is no where in the same realm as In N Out. Seriously don't understand what all the fuss it about. I don't think I'll be going back. read more

This is not your average place to pick up healthy food and feel good about your diet! Try the Chipotle Mexican Grill next door for that. This place has peanut oil french fried potatoes with or with cajun spices. The limited menu offers cheeseburgers and more cheeseburgers. They have a nice grilled hot dog for the little kids. Its time to get out of the healthy eating doldrums and strap on the feedbag. I LOVE those burgers and fries. read more

This was my first visit to a "Five Guys" - have been eager to check the place out and see what all the hoopla is about. The burger was good as fast food burgers go. Though it did remind me a bit of my first visit to a Wendy's back in 1976. Homemade taste. The fries were fair at best. A load of them - more than anybody should really eat - with fair quality... some were a little greasy. But here's what struck me the most - regular cheeseburger, regular fries, regular soda and a nearly $13 tab! I don't think so. I could have visited the Claim Company and had a better quality burger with homemade chips or fries and a drink served to me for about the same price. I don't usually complain about prices, but this place is outta hand. Maybe when they start serving Kobe beef at that price there will be value there. Freshly cooked burger, tasty fries, good selection of free toppings, free peanuts to eat while I wait for freshly made burger...pretty freaking dope. This was my second experience with Five guys and this was more enjoyable than my first. I was eating with my wife this time and that usually bumps up the enjoyment factor for me quite a bit. But on top of that, I went with a single this time as opposed to the double. I love a good big burger, but I found the single to be a more appropriate size for lunch. Part of that is because the fry order is ridiculously large. It may be pricey for some folks, but I think it's worth it. It's way above a Mcdonald's, BK type burger, so I'll be back for sure. read more

I had it today for the first time but only as take out. I might have to go back and see about the service. The burger was pretty good, I like that you get options with the toppings and they don't cost extra. I can't say there was anything super special about the burger but it was very, very tasty. I would say it had a better taste than a McDonalds or even the local fave Photo's. However, there are so many dining options in this area that I don't know if it can develop a loyal following. I got the regular fries but sampled the cajun from my husband, my taste preference was for the regular because the cajun had just too much spice. Since I tried Five Guys, I've come back four times in as many weeks for my burger fix. I've not tried this chain before and I'm very glad I now have. Apart from delivering a consistently tasty burger each time, the staff here is super friendly and does a really good job at handling swarms of customers. The free peanuts 'while you wait' are a nice bonus (if you're not allergic) and help pass the time between when you order and when you eat your delicious burger. I live about 15 minutes away - and I do go here instead of some other places when I want a really good burger. read more

I went to 5 guys for my first time today! I have to say over all it was good experience! I went with my mom, we went at about 5:15 and it was just steadily busy & we were able to quickly I had a little bacon cheeseburger- this to me was a very good size burger! Between that and half an order of regular fries I was plenty full! I can't imagine ordering a burger that wasn't "Little" , but if you're really hungry (& plan on working out soon) go for it! One thing I really liked about the burger was that the bacon was very crispy and it wasn't that stupid microwavable crap most places think they're fooling you with these days! I also have to give them kudos for not charging for toppings! Feel free to load up! I have to give props to them on the fries! They remind me of the good ole days of Boardwalk fries, they were very good! They got our order out within less than 10 minutes and everything was hot n just greasy enough! :) I'd definitely go back! The time it took and the price I paid for a basic cheeseburger and fries was not worth the end product. The fries and burger were forgettable, as they have been during two previous visits. I don't get the appeal, and I don't think its worth coming back. The peanuts were a nice touch, though; people with allergies beware. read more

I am definitely a fan. I don't go out for fast food burgers very often but this place is going to change that. $5 for a little bacon cheeseburger with all the toppings I want on it? Damn right!! Yes, the wait is long but it's worth it for the hand-formed patty that is cooked to order. The little is definitely enough for me, especially since a regular order of fries is wayyyyyyy enough for 2 people. The fact that they have peanuts, unsweetened iced tea, fry their fries in peanut oil AND can tell you what farm they got their shipment in for their potatoes is awesome. Five Guys is awesome! I definitely like to be able to see my burger being made! I get to make little suggestions to the guy while he is making it. I am sure the, "a few more onions, please" comments get annoying for the employees, but it ensures that my burger comes out just the way I like it! High quality ingredients... yummy food. I wish you could get a smaller order of fries. The copious amount of fries they give allows them to charge a lot for a regular order of fries, which sucks, because it makes going there cost at least $10 every time I go :/ BUT DON'T GET IT TWISTED! This chain has become a known quantity as it has grown in the Midwest, but it retains a word-of-mouth mystique that I think unreasonably inflates the expectations of first-timers -- hence some of the unfair ratings I see below. Five Guys does not do much -- burger, dog, fries and pop. But makes a reliably excellent burger (really, what other chain would you put above them?) with great peanut-oil fries in copious quantity and a really good split-grilled hot dog that my kids adore. It's head and shoulders over most burger joints in terms of quality. Can you find foodie burgers that are more exotic? Sometimes, yes. But that shouldn't put Five Guys' quality in the shade. My new go to "fast food" burger spot. Sorry Portillo's.... First; the Burger- Excellent on the toppings, good bun, cooked fresh to order. Sometimes I wish it was a single bigger patty instead of the double, but delish none the less. Second; the Fries- A big part of the high ranking! Fresh cut and Malt Vinegar to boot! Third; the Beverages- LOVE the new Coke machine with the crazy amounts of choices. Especially since I usually want to go caffeine free and stick with diet. Fourth; the Extras- Peanuts are a nice touch. Fifth; the Atmosphere- Clean, bright. Two slight drawbacks-one it seems EVERY table wobbles (A for consistency) and two-music is too loud. Sixth; the Value/Price A little pricey, but I enjoy this place more than Culver's and Portillo's. Though I concede Portillo's probably has the better beef when it comes to the burger, topping choices plus huge advantage in fries and massize drink selection (plus free refills) gives Five Guys a major edge. And don't even get me started on how disappointed I was with Smashburger and Fatburger. read more

Little disappointed with the burgers I felt like the buns could be toasted a little bit longer. The flavor isn't really that great and I felt my burger was soggy. I think it's important how you stack the ingredients and cook the buns a little bit longer so that it's able to withstand liquid. These are not cheap burgers and I expect it to be better. Definitely not a place to frequent for a frugal person - it's about 20 bucks for a double patty burger, regular fry, and regular fountain drink. I say it's an adequate meal, food typically has a fresh quality to it and will satisfy one's hunger in a pinch - although occasionally fries may be over seasoned or mushy. This is probably my favorite Five Guys. For some reason the shakes and burgers taste better here. I don't know if it's the cool or just environment but it's a really great place to just come and eat a good hamburger. The employees here were very friendly and they got my order (bacon cheeseburger and peanut butter shake) out fast and it was delicious. 10/10 would recommend if your in the Chicago Suburbs or just looking to get a good burger. Definitely one of my favorite burger places! If you're not sure what to order, here's my usual: Bacon Burger, Mayo, American cheese, Lettuce, Ketchup, Grilled Jalapeños, and Hot Sauce. Ok I was at this location today. My order came to just about $30 for very little and inedible food. Our little burgers were not cooked through and one did not have the correct ingredients on it. The fries were incredibly salty and we were not able to eat them. The hotdog was almost burnt and was suppose to have 2 ingredients on it but instead came with so much junk on it you couldn't even see the dog. The girl at the register was quick and boreding on rude. Obviously was having a bad day or does not like her job. I really want my money back. Will be calling corporate! read more

It is a small restaurant, but the food here is really good. The simple burgers I had here are what's keeping me coming back to it. I even regret that I did not find this place sooner. It is a clean place with a small space since it is not that big, but still spacious enough, I think. The staff are all very nice. They are so friendly and they give everything accurately. They have a nice menu with a variety of options, and the prices are all fair and reasonable. I only ordered a cheeseburger for my lunch and a drink. I like the fact that the service is quick and that it only takes about 15 minutes because there are some restaurants that would keep me waiting for almost half an hour for a few orders, and I am just glad that this place is different. They gave me the food after it was cooked, and nothing tastes better when the burger is fresh and hot. It was not too greasy and it was actually juicy. Everything has a nice texture, and overall, it just tastes really amazing, like it always should be. The cheeseburger alone could make me feel full and satisfied, and it was really worth the price. Otherwise it would not get any stars. $20 for two sodas, one regular fry, a single patty hamburger (boring and bland) and here is the best part,,,"the bacon dog." I'm not a constant yelper - I feel that my opinion may be biased depending on who's working at the restaurant, or perhaps just a random occurrence. Therefore, most bad experiences, I believe, are caused by factors you cannot control. However, there are moments which you know can be preventable. Last time I went to Five Guys, I was completely disappointed. I could feel in the atmosphere that I wasn't welcome. I talked to someone, who turned out to be the manager, and felt like he didnt care to be there, nor cared to have me there (or my business). I made my order and ate there, but there were no napkins at my table. I asked the 'manager' and he simply said, you can go to that table and get some. There wasn't even a "let me get some for you" statements. The meal was very poor and service even worse. I know my less than $10 meal shouldn't be that big of an issue, but the service coupled with the quality was horrible. There are so many more options around that area; I will definitely be heading somewhere else. read more

The very well-made hand-crafted burgers are topped with some of the freshest vegetables you'll find. Along with a nice side of fries that are made from real potatoes, it's a solid meal that will fill you up. Although it can be a little pricey, you are paying for what you get. If you want a fast food style cheeseburger in the area, Five Guys is a much better option than McDonald's or Billy Goats, but still maybe not better than Steak N' Shake. The burger is pretty average for a fast food burger, aside from higher quality ingredients. Sometimes the burgers are really good, but the fact that they are cooked well done leads to inconsistencies. The skin-on fresh-cut fries, however, are worth coming back for. When eaten right away, the fries are some of the best. Not quite as perfectly crisp-on-the-outside and creamy-on-the-inside as the ultra potato-y fries at Rand Red Hots, but very good. I remember getting excited when I first saw the sign for Five Guys @ Randhurst. Remember that "Inside the White House" thing on NBC with Brian Willams where President Obama walks into the Five Guys on Capitol Hill and gets food for his staff?? I figured if it's good enough for the Prez, its good enough for me. I knew we were going to hit them on the first day they opened. These burgers are good (burgers are what Five Guys are known for and they do it well) but they are hell-of messy and I'm not a fan of messy. The burger fell apart in my hands - I felt like what my 2 year old child looks like when he eats baby-food; sloppy eating surface, ketchup/mustard dripping down my hands, had to lean way forward so toppings wouldn't get all over my pants, etc. Maybe I just ordered the burger wrong or something - I got bacon, ketchup, mustard, jalapenos & grilled onions. In hindsight maybe I should've just kept it simple (less toppings?) The fries are good but don't get more than one regular order for a family - the sack of fries is ginormous. The highlight of this trip, IMHO, had to be the bacon cheese dog. I got one to share but by the time the wife and kids were done with their burger, nobody wanted a bite. This dog was reeeeeally good!! They grill it and fix it up with plenty of cheese and bacon. I know people don't go to Five Guys for the hot-dogs but they really should. Ummm - what else?? Free in-the-shell peanuts - get some to eat up while you wait for your food (don't be shy). This has to be a nightmare for people with peanut allergies but too bad for them. So that was the first day they opened and naturally they were busy. The few times I've been there since, they're still busy but at least they have free peanuts. Love Five Guys. Been to this location, one in NYC. This one was better. When they're crazy busy, it does take a bit longer. Worth every penny imo. It's always yummy, no matter how long it takes. I mean, I can't go here more than once every 2 months or so since just looking at the burger makes my blood vessels shudder. But they have coke zero and so many fries, I have never once finished them, even when there with 2 people. A plus in my book. And it's all super fresh. Mmmm great big burgers! This place has the best burgers and fries! Def. try the Cajun fries! They are soo yummy and seasoned! The burger may not cost as much as your Big Mac, but it's soo much better and worth it if you're starving! They make it right there so it's nice and hot when you get it!
