I ordered online and it was ready by the time I got there! Now when I had the food, it wasn't what I expected. I was told that this small owned business "smacked" but it was just average. The patty has a nice crispy to it like how a smash burger should but but it didn't have flavor? Like the sauce gave it flavor, not the meat itself. The bun was not smooshed (like how the other pictures show). The fries are good! Even if when soggy haha. Personally I don't think the price was worth the meal. I like the fact that this place is known for being halal. The place itself was DEAD yet it was lunch. It was ungodly warm inside. No AC. A co-worker ($27.00) and I ($17.00) ordered and paid online Saturday, 25JUL26. Order was to be ready for pick up @ 11:15. I work in operations so I had to pick up and get back to the office. When I arrived the place was closed! I had to beat on the door because I saw someone moving in the kitchen. Around 11:25 he came out and opened the door. I told him I was there for a pick up. He said it would not be ready for another 15-20 min. I could not wait and asked for a refund. He assured me he did the refund and it would be back in my account within 24hrs. I waited until Tuesday to call because it was still pending at my bank. I called and Mohammad said he would take care of it. Well to my my surprise, once it cleared the bank, he gave himself a tip! A $3 tip!!! I have called numerous times. I spoke to Mahoumed 30JUL. He promised he would speak to the owner/manager to have it refunded. As of today 31JUL it still has not been refunded. We ordered 2 dogs. It took 15 minutes and the hot dogs were old the buns were served hard and stale. They went to get fresh ones and we waited 10 more minutes and left obviously they had frozen maybe and hot dogs were like at a gas station roller. Just ok, lacking in flavor, basic. Imo, just trying be better than fast food, food. But that's all it is, with higher prices. Counter gentleman was great, I didn't know if I wanted the burger or the hot chicken. He recommended the #3 to try both. Good idea I thought, ordered and I was up charged for the hotter chicken at my request. I did mention it may be too much food for me but he said they aren't too big (might want to find a way to better reword this). Got it to go, was home in 5 min and opened it up. Overall not impressed for $20+ out the door, no drink. Opened it up, in a foam container, (ditch the foam containers aready). Looked fresh but he was right, they were not big. Both the burger and chicken sandwich were fresh and warm, fries looked crispy with some seasoning on them. The burger: just ok, the beef didn't have flavor, I did like the cheese and onions. But it was pretty small and just tasted bland. Really just ok. Not worth the 7.99 ala carte menu price for sure. A Dave's single has more flavor and that's not saying much. Also no smash burger edges on the beef, a must if you want to elevate this type of burger. The chicken sandwich: again kind of small and the piece of chicken was pretty thin and no breading or spice on the chicken visually, just an orangish mayo sauce and Cole slaw. Absolutely zero spice or heat anywhere in this sandwich, I literally paid extra for that specifically. Coleslaw was just like what you get in bulk at GFS or jewel. And this also was very lacking in any flavor. Mayo sauce was like canes, but again completely lacking in flavor or spice or heat. Fries: looked good, portion size was ok at best. Standard crinkle cut with some seasoning over them. These too were just ok, another minute in the fryer would have helped, I would say, not crispy enough and plain. Seasoning helped a little, but imo needed more to have an impact. Conclusion: Will I come back, not likely. Service was great and quick, place was clean. But I go out to eat for the food. I wanted to love it, but it was nowhere worth the cost. It was just ok, that's the ongoing theme here. If you do go, don't waste your time on the chicken sandwich. And you would have to get a double for the burger. But would this make it better? I'm not sure. If you like bland food, this may be just for you. Other people mention the slaw on the burger, mine didn't have any but the chicken did. Not sure if it was supposed to or not.. I just wish the good service matched the food quality and taste, it didn't even come close. The burgers and chicken sandwiches at Wendy's and Culver's are better and have much better quality meat and flavors (what's that saying?) Terrible. Dry, hockey puck of a burger. Order was ignored- requested no onions or sauce, with slaw on the side- received onions and sauce, no slaw. The fry portion is small. Canned soda. Entire place reeked of cleaning solution . Zero service- order on a screen, then when the order is ready, they just leave it on the counter. No one was working in the front of house- very odd. Only two tables indoors for dining. We will not return and do not recommend Slaw Burger. read more

A small burger place along Arlington Heights this place was excellent very small and the french fries and onion rings are fantastic the burger was one of the cutest Burgers I've ever seen and I almost fell in love with it did not even want to eat it when I did it it was one of the most juiciest lovely burgers and I had they Smashburger with the egg on top my mouth drooled as I put each and every bite into this place and nothing beats a small burger place that gets their place food done right this is an interesting small strip mall with two other food businesses next door a big Deli a big belly Deli and a taco joint that I both plan to hit and review in the future I hope that they are as good or close to slaw burger read more

I've been here twice and the first time was for my birthday since I'm a simple man especially Monday-Friday. They ended up giving me a free thing of cheese fries for that since there were two really nice guys working there who talked me into trying the best. I'm not a big coleslaw OR butter pickle guy, and I will say right now that the burgers and fries were amazing. I ended up getting a double for home . My sister doesn't like coleslaw at all yet when we got one for her on our next visit, she even loved it. I get the place can be kind of cramped but we were lucky to get seats before the rush and don't mind if others are enjoying their food near us, it doesn't take much to go home either. Canned drinks can be expensive but there's a Culver's right near it with burgers not nearly as good but bigger drinks so get those on the ride home or before you get there and you'll be fine . read more

Ordered the double smash burger and it was gross. The patties were not at all smash patties. They were more similar to Wendy's patties. The burger was drenched in sauce which was incredibly overpowering. The sauce would best be described as a spicy mayo with some sweetness.. The bun was similar to a Kings Hawaiian bun and was nice and soft, but didn't hold up to all of the sauce on the burger. I hate to say negative things about a small business but there are much better alternatives locally for a good smash burger. read more

Wendy's/McDonald's type gritty dog food tasing patties smothered in cheez-wiz style product, a couple of sickly sweet pickles served on a squishy and sickeningly sweet donut bun .... and then seemingly... microwaved to oblivion.
