Not even a whole slice of bacon, pitiful.
    T B.

Tonight is the last time going the the rip-off that is 5 guys. We got little bacon cheese burgers and the portion of bacon on them was pitiful. Last week we got a large fry the was a half full cup of fries for $6. Had to wait 10 minutes for the shake AFTER I got the rest of my order. VERY CRAPPY SERVICE AND QUALITY. NEVER GOING BACK. WAY OVERPRICED FOR LOWER THAN MCDONALDS QUALITY. Don't waste your money here, go to the 99 for a good burger for less money.

There's a lot of options in this plaza--Panara, Sushi, and Indian, plus some chains in the area. Five Guys is as close as we have to In-N-Out Burger What they do well: * Juicy burgers cooked to order with a great selection of veggies and condiments * Overflowing french fries * Friendly service without overdoing it - fast, competent, and efficient * Free peanuts in the shell Cleanliness is alright, but not stellar. I can get away with a burger & fries here about once a month. :-)

If you've read my previous reviews, you know I've loved my previous visits to other five guys locations in two states now and yesterdays was no different. This was the first time I sat down to eat in. There was plenty of seating and the dining area was remarkably clean in spite of being open for a few hours. My only suggestion to management, please add a children's menu. Buying anything for my three year old is a waste as I end up throwing most of it in the garbage.

The miniscule, dry, overcooked $5 burger at Five Guys in Marlborough, MA. Is this really the best you can do? Completely disappointed.

Don't know what all the hype is about but this place is average. I think they charge a little to much for such a mediocre burger.

I think Five Guys is In-n-Out's east coast cousin...a little bit more expensive with a lot more taste.

A Brazilian burger place where their burgers are the size of Trump's ego, and the toppings are so messy you legit need to eat it in a bathtub. The last time I had one of these incredible concoctions, my deck looked like the buffet station after a wedding. I HIGHLY doubted that a place which prided itself on beef, layered with beef, with 20 slabs of bacon on top was going to actually offer veggie burgers...but they did! And I was dying to see what the Brazilian burger version of a veggie burger might be. $18 for a veggie burger with no sides (before tip) felt a little steep, until I lifted the bag and almost gave myself tendonitis. This thing was DENSE. The woman asked me if I wanted an extra side of "green sauce." I had no idea what it was, but I'm all about weird sauces so I nodded yes. I got home, and opened it up. The roll for this thing was massive, and lightly sweet. It was sloppy, in the best way: covered in that green sauce, with tons of cheese, a whole tomato, and raw onion. The veggie patty itself was huge, made from scratch, filled with carrots and peas. I don't normally love veggie burgers where you can see all the ingredients, but this one was REALLY good. It was also...almost an afterthought. Remember back in the day, when Burger King offered "veggie Whoppers"? And really, it was just a Whopper without the burger, but with all the other ingredients aside from that? This was kind of like that: the sweet bread, delicious cheese, and incredible sauce tasted so great together, you didn't really care about the actual burger. I would absolutely go back for another one of these, and if my gallbladder could still handle a giant burger without retribution? I'd be there all the time. For you burger lovers: this place is a must-go. Even if you're not a beef fan, their chicken sandwiches are next level. Gauchao is tucked away on a side street filled with triple deckers, a total hidden gem. You'll never simply stumble upon it, even though it's only 4 minutes from Hudson center. Go. You won't regret it.

Known locally as "The Chat," it's tucked away in a neighborhood overlooking Dudley Pond, in what began life as a private fishing lodge nearly a century ago before becoming a speakeasy and eventually the local institution it is today. It definitely shows its age--and I mean that affectionately. (The Dudley Chateau) The building is well worn, it gets packed, it can be loud, and yes, the restrooms have seen better days. None of that has stopped us from coming back several times a year. Why? Because the food is consistently excellent, and so is the service. The menu goes well beyond what you'd expect from a neighborhood pub, and we've yet to leave disappointed. The staff somehow manages to stay friendly, attentive, and efficient even when the place is buzzing. The Dudley Chateau isn't trying to be trendy or upscale, and that's part of its charm. It's comfortable in its own skin, and so are the people who keep coming back. If you're looking for spotless, quiet, and polished, this probably isn't your place. But if you're looking for great food, friendly service, and a genuine local institution with plenty of character, it's absolutely worth the visit.

Less fortunately, a very light application of sauce, and similarly not crispy, but noticeably larger, especially the drums. Inner texture slightly moist.
