What an amazing place! My husband and I come here all the time for burgers, and they are amazing at making them! The service is top notch and they always making sure that when we have fries that we have extra ketchup and napkins when we leave. Ambiance is amazing and very clean! when they are not busy cooking or helping customers, I always see someone cleaning tables and floors and making sure, they are ready for in case of a wave of customers coming in. Staff are usually always amazing and polite. I've been at different times and I've never had a issue. The Upper Management raised menu prices twice in 3 months. Wish Pyramid would stop raising their prices under the guise of "inflation" when they don't even offer their employees a raise along with it. They own locations in Maryland and pay their employees a minimum of $15 while here you're lucky to get $12. read more

This review is more about service than food. I don't usually eat beef, but every now and again I need beef! Since there are no In-N-Out Burgers here in Virginia, Five Guys is my go to. On the evening of 8/18 I wasn't feeling well, later found out I had COVID, I ordered a burger and choose curbside pickup from the location on Carl J Silver in Fredericksburg so I wouldn't have to come in contact with a lot of people. I added a 15% tip because I knew someone would need to bring my order to my car. I arrived, answered the texts, saying I had arrived and the model, make and color of my car. I waited in my car parked directly in front. I could see the employees inside, talking, drinking sodas, the manager did some cleaning. The 2 young men working looked out the window at me more than once. I saw a couple of other customers go in and order. I waited for over 10 minutes, then I went in (wearing a mask) and said I had a curbside pickup. A young man asked my name and game me a bag that had been sitting there all the time. How lazy can you get! I was feeling too badly to argue got my lukewarm burger and drove home. Well I had a "how did we do" email waiting for me. I took the time to tell whoever sees them (if anyone) exactly what happened. Still haven't gotten as much as a we're sorry. First I hope no one got sick, I did what I could to protect the staff. There may be a reason people choose curbside pickup! You should train your staff to be more concerned. I said in my reply I would write a review, maybe they didn't believe me, I'm feeling a little better now so here it is and I will never go to that location again. If you don't love a sloppy filing great tasting burger then this is not for you. The employees are nice. Food is good and never had a problem. Fries could use a tad bit less salt and let customers salt themselves, but they give so much fries it crazy. As far as burger joints, this one is great. read more

Reminded me of the Five Guys from back home in San Diego - consistently good eats but a little pricey. I was around the area for almost a month, and I went here at least once every weekend. The burgers were always nice and filling, and the fries were always delicious and plentiful. I came in once several minutes before closing, but the crew gladly helped me without any sacrifice in quality or quantity. Standard level of cleanliness. Conveniently located. Not bad! read more

This place is very reasonably price with yummy burgers. All of the toppings are free! Everything here is cooked with peanut oil so having a child with a peanut allergy I will sneak here if I have a day off while the kids are in school. Five Guys offers a little burger which is one patty and their burgers are double patties. There have so many toppings! I love getting the little bacon burger with grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, cheese, and ketchup with their cajun fries. The cajun fries are addicting. Love em with ketchup! The atmosphere of this place is casual and friendly. They also have free peanuts for you to snack on while waiting for your order. The burger and fries cost roughly 11 bucks per person if you get a drink.The only thing that would make this place better would be if they delivered. read more

This place is no in-n-out so my rating may be skewed. I the food is good quality I just like the in-n-out taste better. They are very fast. That being said, it was so fast that the guy who rang me up, completed my order when I wasn't finished. No customary, "will that be all for you?" I was going to add to it but obviously he had better things to do that wait for me to actually finish my order. But I guess that's how they roll here. Plus the meals here are overpriced. I was in town and went here for lunch 3 days in a row. First and second days' experiences were great: yummy, quick and good service. Fries were a bit inconsistent on the 2nd day (some were too soggy, some looked like they were made in old oil). On the third day (a Thursday), I noticed that all the meat patties being cooked were different sizes and looked kind of messy, really. Also, as I looked for a table (indoors), I past 5 tables in a row covered with crumbs/food, and 2 of those tables each had a fly resting on it. I finally went to a table that I saw had just been cleaned, only to find a few crumbs still on one side of the table, and also crumbs on the seats. My burger that day also was not as great as the previous two days'. The patty was not shaped right, and my first 2-3 bites had no meat. Basically, don't go on Thursdays! Otherwise, great. read more

i already enjoy the burgers here. you choose your burger or dog...and add the toppings, as much as you'd like! in case you didn't already know, the little burger is ONE patty. the burger is TWO patties. order some fries and drizzle malt minegar over it then dip in ketchup. very yummy...of course you can skip the vinegar if you'd like, but i enjoy that added flavor. they also have cajun fries, which are good, but i don't enjoy. it would be nice if they added a bottle of sriracha to the counter :) nice and friendly service. clean store...a bit cramped by the soda machines. lots of tables in here for the small space, so right by the soda machines (which are NOT the new fancy soda combination flavor station thing they have at other locations) it can get a bit crowded. don't sit there during peak hours or you'll have a line of people by your table trying to make their way to and from the machine. there are also tables located outside -- although i don't know if they'll still be there in the winter. read more

Great lunch. Gargantuan portions and a young energetic staff make this the perfect place for a carnivore's lunch. The burger was huge, piled high with toppings, and the fries made me forget that I usually only eat the little crispy ones. They had the best flavor of any I have ever eaten, and were not the least but greasy. Very well done! read more

Worst service and manager weve ever dealt with. At least she said she was the manager. I read in a review the manager is a guy named jacob so maybe she lied to me about that too. A girl named Alexa put us on hold for almost 10 minutes so I called back. I tried ordering my dinner again and was cut off by her. Then I was put on hold for another 10 minutes and I could hear her and the other employees laughing in the backround. Then I hear her say, "I know that lady isn't still waiting for me on the phone." And hung up on me! Called back again and asked for the manager and she said she was the manager and gave me nothing but attitude. She was being sarcastic and couldn't care less about how disrespectful she was being. Then she tried to put it off on one of her employees. So I asked for their name. She refused to give me thier name. I'm guessing because there wasn't anyone else involved. She just wanted to lie her way out of being lazy and disrespectful. I felt disrespected and didnt receive an apology. My whole family is military and work on the base. I can't believe Five guys would allow their employees to treat military and their families like this. I'm going to make sure every soldier i come in contact with knows how I was treated. And I'm going to tell them to tell their friends and fellow soldiers too. That girl just cost Five Guys some money. When all she had to do was be polite and do her job. She should be fired. And if she's not really the manager, the real manager should be fired for running an unprofessional workplace. Remove the problem before it affects the business! read more
