The 12 inch Cheesesteak definitely feeds Two!
    Steven S.

Was in Philly (first time) last weekend but was too busy to stop for a signature cheesesteak. No matter, without ever having compared, I just Know Paradise Bay serves up as good (better?) as the classic Philadelphia joints. How do I know this? How can you beat Perfect?! I vow to try one some day, but I just don't see how anyone could improve upon this Colonial Beach treasure. Just a camp store at Monroe Bay Campground, yet Paradise Bay blows away the competition for miles around. To say it is the Best food in Colonial Beach is hardly enough for a venue that may well eclipse Philadelphia itself!

Amazing food and big selection. Steak and cheese subs are the best I've ever had! Online ordering is great too.

Love the mom and pop (seasonal) camping supplies and good food they offer in a unique setting (campground at a marina)!

And the food is truly real. Don't worry about the price. For a comparable meal at McDonalds, Halls Supermarket will be less. And the drink selection is the best in town. Mexican Coca-Cola, Mr.Pibb, various hard to find drinks, all here. The environment is friendly with a mix of locals and transplants. The outside may look discreet but what counts is whats on the inside! And inside there is wholesome and goodness. Some place warm 'n fuzzy and somewhere to stick your head in. It's a true full service grocery store unique and one of a kind. There's only one Halls Supermarket and we're lucky to have it. I've always heard there are people who come here from miles around. I'm a believer.

Huge fan of Hall's!…read more We make sure to make a stop or even go on a mini trip to stop by for their chicken salad, found in their deli section in the back. The chicken salad is one of the best I've had - it's shredded chicken that dressed well, and perfect on a Martin's cocktail roll; if you're lucky, you'll find Tom's Hot Fries in the chip aisle, and this makes a great pairing! The staff here are kind and friendly, and the place is usually patronized by the locals. Usually during the summer months, they feature local businesses, which set up tents right outside. Large parking lot with ample parking available. +delicious chicken salad! +Tom's Hot Fries +friendly service +ample parking

I should have listened to the locals when they told me this was a place that I should not have gone…read moreto. I went because they had gnocchi on the menu and I thought how bad could it really be how bad can Italian food be right? I also had read in a previous review about their Caesar dressing and how it had real anchovies in it and it was homemade. I was super excited to have the Caesar salad with chicken as my meal as I wasn't that hungry and I love Caesar salad dressing with anchovies. I'm giving this place two stars because the waitress was extremely nice now granite we were the only people in the restaurant two other couples did come in as we were sitting there. Between the local reviews, the empty parking lot and then the country music on in an Italian restaurant I should've known. But we forged ahead. So we ordered the garlic basil shrimp as an appetizer, it was good. It was fine, but it lacked a lot of flavor. My son then had the gnocchi which he substituted the Parmesan sauce for red sauce and asked for a meatball instead of the chicken or sausage. I again ordered the big Caesar salad salad with chicken as my entrée, along with a glass of wine, that clearly had been opened a bit too long and not properly sealed. The Kohl's frozen garlic bread from your freezer section of your grocery store had more flavor than the garlic bread that came out with my son's dish the two meatballs that were huge in size had no flavor at all while the gnocchi was great and consistency. The sauce itself again lacked any flavor at all. My lettuce was not fresh the Caesar dressing if it was homemade was very thin and watery , and the chicken breast they asked for it to be put on top of it had no seasonings on it whatsoever. I would not go back here and I hope that you reading this considers it, this review and what all the locals told me, before you decide to go. And for those of you that are looking to maybe start a business in the colonial Beach area an Italian restaurant that delivers Italian food would be phenomenal.

Nonna' s Italian Kitchen is a welcome addition to the Colonial Beach restaurant scene. In this time…read moreof "shrink-flation" the portions were pleasantly generous. Our seafood pasta was delicious and loaded with a good amount of seafood. The prices are very fair and the service was good. The wine selection was ok. The food was very tasty, that's the most important thing. ( PS: It's completely authentic to have anchovies in a Cesar salad, but it's not commonly added in the majority of restaurants. Because anchovy is usually a love it or a hate it ingredient, it would be helpful to mention on the menu that the Nonna's Cesar salad dressing contains anchovies.)

When a restaurant serves this, it just makes me feel like they don't care, or at least one person there doesn't
