This is the first time we have been here. We had a great deal for Halloween to buy 1 entree and a drink and get an entree for free. I tried the brisket bowl and my kids ordered the veggie bowls. My wife ordered the 3 crunchy tacos. Two of the bowls were packed and one was skimpy. They did mix up the orders for the two veggies bowls which was disappointing. I am giving a 3 now for the mess ups and will try them again. Hopefully they will do better. read more

Amazing, relaxing. My husband and I went out to lunch last Tuesday and couldn't say enough! This place was clean BUT it gets better. We each had a rice bowl, me pork, he had steak. Mine was all over it, lots of rice, pork, cheese, jalapeños, beans, more cheese, Pico, more cheese, jalapeños. Fabulous, his was rice beans, more black beans, steak, cheese, steak, more cheese, WELL, we both ate every last bite. In fact, he ordered another one for dinner later that evening. This is the WORST restaurant in all of Fredericksburg! That is sad, because there are some pretty bad places here. I am new to the area, and was happy to see that they had Qdoba, because I prefer it to Chipotle...The first time I went to Qdoba, there was a Hispanic lady with really light hair, it was almost gold when I walked up to order. She was so beyond nasty. When I came in she let out the loudest sigh. Then she moved around doing anything but helping me, and refused to look at me. I was the only one there. I eventually walked out and went to BJs, they were great. Qdoba had a pick up special on DoorDash. I ordered the cheese crusted quesadilla, ground beef Nachos, and a veggie burrito bowl. There was definitely no cheese on the quesadilla, and it was bland and sad. The Nachos were an absolute mess, cold, and there wasn't one chip in them. They looked like vomit. The bowl got so soggy that it ripped, and spilled on me. The burrito bowl was cold, flavorless, and the veggies tasted burnt. This meal was inedible. When I picked up the food, the staff kept arguing about what was part of my order and someone else's. They put things in my bag, and took them out a few times. The 2 girls at the register were at least decent to me, they were both heavy set. There was another woman who was really thin that was putting the food together. She had put 2 folded bags of chips on top of my order. I had also ordered a side of queso. She was the one that kept instigating the arguments. When the girl at the register said the chips were supposed to have a side of queso, she stormed off, and threw the 2 bags. Between her, and the other woman there the other day, I've never seen such immaturity, unprofessionalism, and absolute ridiculousness. I would never in a million years return here. In the past the service has been quick and friendly. Unfortunately, we weren't even acknowledged as we stood there for five minutes watching the woman work on orders that had been phoned in. I had a great first experience the person who served me was really kind and understanding and suggested Mexican soda which went well with the meal and I suggest coming here if you are trying to walk out with a full stomach the corn tortillas are more flavourful but tend to fall apart while the flour tortillas stay together and are still very good read more

First off let me just say I have been a fan of Qdoba since 2004 when they arrived at the campus of VCU. The being said, the standards at this location have dropped severely since the change in management. First my guaq was brown, not green, brown. This is an indication of one of two things, the guaq was not made correctly and lacked the acid to keep the color and taste, or it was old, as in made the previous day and stored. Judging by the color and the texture, I am going with old. The taste was awful if not detestable, and I love guaq. This is not the first time in recent months I have seen the standards slip like this. The adobo chicken was add as well, weird small pieces which could be from a lack of knife skills. Bottom line I will not be returning to this location any time soon, which makes me sad because I used to love their food, but now, its fallen by the wayside. Maybe one day they will get their act together again, but for now it seems that they have no heart when it comes to cooking and its a shame. read more

I love this location. Never have I ever had such accommodating service. The manager was the one who was there and serviced me this day. I have a bowel disease and I have to be extremely careful what I eat or I can end up in the hospital with internal bleeding. I had the 3 tacos (they gave me uncooked corn tortillas as to not hurt my insides) with chicken, salsa, and pico de gallo. They were AMAZING in that they did what they could to pick out the onions in p.d.g. and offered to get the ingredients list for anything on their menu. Tonight was the first time I've been to QDOBA in a long time. When I got there it wasn't busy. I asked for three tacos. After the first person got the tortillas ready they were passed down the line. The man behind the line didn't explain anything. Because I hadn't been there in so long I didn't know what was included. Toward the end he muttered something in Spanish. The girl behind the register rang up my order and it was four dollars too much. When I asked why she looked at the man. He came over and told her that the price was less for three rather than individually priced times. Neither one of them apologized for the mistake. I thought overall they rude. When I received my food my driver they had forgotten a few items, so I had called the restaurant and had let them know that I didn't get the rest of my food and I will send someone to go get it. While I was on the with the manager, Yasmine she gave me an attitude did not want to help, I asked for a refund Yasmine refused to give me my money back then proceeded to charge me for the items that was left even though I paid for it already online.Thankfully DoorDash helped and I got everything fixed. If you're in a rush or don't feel like waiting for Chipotle,is a good substitute. The rice is really spicy, but with enough sourcream I was fine. Guacamole is a free topping here as it should be. The queso is crazy hot to me, but the chips were wonderfully thick and crisp! There was a faint taste of lime on the cops which confused me, but I kinda liked it. While not as good as Chipotle, Qdoba provides some options not available from their ubiquitous counterpart. First off, their queso is absolutely to die for. Additionally the soups they offer are fantastic as well. While some other reviewers complain about the service, I have never had any issues. Another noteworthy mention is their frequent buyer card. Went there last weekend. Was not a welcoming place. We got tacos, nachos, 2 burritos, 3 waters and one soda. This cost me over $40 dollars. I thought it was way to much. The lady said they ran out of receipt paper. She said she could write it out. I said no but I should have said yes because I believe I was overcharged. The food was not great and staff unfriendly. We've ridden past this place a gazillion times, but only stopped in last night for the first time. And I am glad we did! This place is kind of like Moe's, kind of like Chipotle. Both the pinto beans AND the black beans are vegetarian. Yay! I got a veggie burrito, and they do it assembly-line style, so I just told her what I wanted on it. It was excellent! Their guacamole is REALLY good. We also got some chips and more guac (they give you TONS of chips). We got a kid's meal, which is a drink (milk, juice, or soda), then the entree- my kid chose the cheese quesadilla, and then some more chips. My husband got the tortilla soup (which is vegetarian!). They do that assembly-line style, too. He got rice and some corn salsa thrown in. He said it was really good. They also have a vegetarian taco salad, and a couple more items.
