I've had 3 occasions where the drive-thru employees were rude for absolutely no reason. I always place my order, round up to the next dollar amount for their scholarship support, etc. I'll take my dollars elsewhere because apparently they don't care about providing great customer service at this specific location. And, this review isn't about all of the employees that work the drive-thru but there are 3 of them that I've experienced this with. They should NOT be serving from a patch of buns opened the day before. Either way, these buns were no good. The meat wasn't hot, it didn't even melt the cheese. I found this horribly disappointing, as it's the reason I no longer eat at McDonalds - they do this "warmer drawer" mess that keeps meat lukewarm, but not hot enough to melt the cheese. Well, it seems Checkers is also serving meat that isn't hot enough to melt cheese - unacceptable! Finally, the fries - They tasted like waffle cone! They had a sweet and odd back note to them, which isn't what I'm familiar with. I wonder if they were fried in the same vat as a dessert item they also make/serve? Either way, I tossed them out after eating about ¼ of the cup of them. I was so disappointed with this visit that it'll be another 8 years before I come back.
