BRING CASH...This is my first time coming here after passing by this place for over a year. I haven't even tried the food yet which is sitting In the passenger seat of my car while I write this review. I would like to discuss the professionalism of the staff. I truly believe you should go out of your way to be 100% transparent with your customers. I ordered a 1/4 white chicken which was $4.99.. no big deal! My disappointment came when I was charged an additional fee for using my credit card. When the total was rung up the server said one price then handed me a receipt to sign that was more then what she stated. Granted it was less than $.50 but still more than what she stated. When I inquired about the difference she stated they have a sign on the counter (which is only about 10% visible) and another very small sign on the door. Long story short.. I don't care how the food taste in this place because this is the one and only time I'll be visiting this empty establishment. read more

If I could give 0 starts I would. Sides are small even when asked for large. Food is not fresh. Carne Asada was very dry and cold with no seasoning on it. The lady was helpful and the chicken was good. Nice prices and good selection of food. This was my first time eating here and I'm glad i did the chicken was nice and juicy not dry or anything. I tried the plantains they were pretty good. I don't eat them enough to judge how good they were. I also ordered the salad and added the green sauce to it. They had put two pre-cooked chickens back into the rotisserie grill-I suppose to reheat them and added about 10 Raw chickens into the same rotisserie grill to cook all together! Me and my co workers ordered from here and the lady on the phone was super rude! we placed over a $50 order and she didn't want to give us sauce on the side. I've never been to a Peruvian restaurant that charges $1 a sauce. She then said she could substitute my plantains with the sauces. Are you kidding me? Not sure why there are negative reviews on here, for a small family owned place you get exactly what you expect. The place was cleans (bathrooms very clean which is a pet peeve of mine) and the food was delicious. The kids (6 and 4) are every last bite! I am so happy to have found a Peruvian chicken place!!! The food was delicious. The cashier was not as friendly because she was busy but the food made up for that....Everything was super fresh!

My husband and I tried it over the weekend. The chicken was ok, but overcooked. The little sauces were wonderful! But they really need to get rid of the tv's. Too many restaurants are putting them up and most people hate them. They were loud and playing basket ball. The lady let me turn them down. I came there, thinking it was maybe a bit more of a dinner atmosphere. They should take advantage of the subscription to their Direct TV and put it on a nice music channel, or even something that is more "Peruvian" oriented, to get customers in the mood, or feel they are in that country. I sent them these suggestions in a private message on their FB page. I also told them to maybe put some pictures and items, on the walls from their homeland. Also, get that soda machine going. We had to ration our one can of soda (per person) and normally we like refills. More variety would be great too. I know its a chicken place, but have more chicken options. I was really looking forward to the Charcoal chicken but they said they won't have that for a while. The picture of it looked great over the pit! The price is very high for the portions we had tonight, and having it on foam plates with flimsy plastic-ware was a little rough trying to cut into the chicken. (the hubby doesnt like to use his figers but i do) Also, we were the only ones there, so I say, come out and say "hi" to the guests, ask how their meal is. This was your standard Peruvian chicken place: delicious and tender rotisserie style chicken with the usual sides of yellow rice, beans, fried yucca accompanied with yummy sauces. Easy to miss this hole in the wall in a fairly slow strip mall, with the sign stuck over the old Mediterranean place that use to occupy the spot. Step inside and it doesn't look like much either; a couple Puruvian tapestries or rugs on the wall, a hand full of tables, a soda cooler, a small TV, and little boom box playing my favorite station, 90.5 PER. However, the young lady waiting on us had a genuine smile and explained what the food was. We opted for Puruvian chicken with yuca, and plantains. Everything was delicious, and the sauces, have to ask what they were next time, we're incredible. Me and my husband walk-in. After buying soda and a appetizer. We noticed that the soda tasted funny. I asked the lady at the front desk if I could get a different one. The soda tasted complete flat as if it was shaken or perilously opened and left out to sit. She said no because we had opened it and tasted it, which makes no sense, that would be the only way to know if something tasted off.. Which is very upsetting. I got the 1/4 chicken lunch special and when I got back to my job and opened up my tray, it had a tiny piece of leg attached to a bone of what was supposed to be the thigh. Doesn't surprise me someone already mentioned the attitude on the lady who runs the front counter. I have been coming here for years. I even work right down the street and regularly went in during my lunch breaks. I went in about once a week, sometimes even twice for dinner. But today, she lost me as a regular customer. Sad to say that even though I am also Spanish, I was treated unprofessionally. I called last week because I had placed an order for pickup. I ordered 2 half chickens with 2 sides each. I was only given 2 quarter sizes. I was unhappy. I called and spoke with a gentleman who told me to just go in and speak with them. I didn't go back that night as I was too overwhelmed. A week later (today) I walk in to place another order for dinner. I told her about my previous experience and how I was instructed to go in. BECAUSE I was told I never gave the gentleman my name - she couldn't do anything for me on my new order. I explained I wasn't necessarily looking for anything free or a discount. I have always supported small businesses. Her attitude today just made me not even want to place an order and caused me to walk out for good. Don't support this business. This restaurant serves the best Peruvian style rotisserie chicken in the area. Authentic flavor and the green sauce is really good. That sauce is made with "huacatay" or black mint. Unfriendly to people of color. Staff disrespect customers in their own language thinking that patrons do not speak multiple languages. I was overcharged for the meal and the lady at the counter refused to give me a to go menu. When I asked for my receipt that too was denied initially.
