Authentic. The meat, fried yuca and were rice were everything you could dream of when thinking of Peruvian food. A must try!

Clean restaurant, quick service, and delicious peruvian chicken! We got yuca fries, fried rice, and plantains as sides. The yuca fries are deliciously fried. The sauces and peruvian chicken was flavorful. The burrito was filling and had a huge portion size. The chicken in the burrito and the fried rice was a little dry. read more

Ordered the whole chicken family pack. Chicken is fall off the bone good. All of the sides had such good flavor and I need to say that my husband doesn't care for plantains and he actually ate a few and said they were good. Didn't care for the white sauce but omg the green sauce is amazing. We did take out and it was hot and delicious. Excited to go back for more chicken! read more

I was really impressed with this takeout! Lots of veggies and plaintains for the sides, great portion and a large piece of steak. Flavor and portions were good. I would probably try a different meat next time but it was still good. Highly recommend for takeout! read more

It was my second visit this week. The food is very good and large portion, are very generous. The staff is friendly but the girl on the register slammed her fist when I missed ordering the Alfajories and made a second purchase. She gave a deep stare like I was in the way and taking too long. If your day is too long, talk to your manager; do not take that out on the customer. A good way to loose business that you (the employee) has not footed a dime for. Check yourself. It was to busy to address you. read more

Super Rico - Half chicken with two sides. - Peruvian Near Me - Stafford, Virginia

This place finally opened, a much needed place for Stafford. Chicken is flavorful and juicy. Sides are not bad, except for the mashed potatoes. It was sour tasting. These people use heap size measurements. I also ordered the lomo salado which was good but better if eaten there, the fries were so soggy. I wish they served soup, but definitely a nice addition to 610. read more

Stopped in with my friend for my first taste of Peruvian food. We got the half-chicken and the carne-asada, with green beans, spinach, plantains and of course rice. The chicken was delicious, but beef was just okay. I was expecting an interesting blend of spices that would provide a taste of Peru, but was disappointed. The food and sides were good, but I expected more. I will have to go back and try more from the menu. The green sauce that they had provided a nice bit of heat to the food, just wish they gave you more than 2 without making you pay extra. read more

My go-to spot for takeout. Everything is always hot, tasty, and affordable. 100% recommend.

I have eaten here now 5 or 6 times and always leave satisfied with the service and food. The restaurant is friendly, inviting, bright, and colorful and staff is friendly and awesome. My go to meal is the Lomo Saltado and love it. It does take them about 10 to 15 minutes to make it as it's not at the front counter with the chickens and sides but if you want an awesome meal the wait is worth it. The Lomo Saltado has beef strips, tomato's, onions, fries, and rice with a marinade made with vinegar, soy sauce, and chili peppers and spices. It really is awesome! So next time you are looking for a great Peruvian chicken restaurant I would recommend you stop in to Super Rico and grab a bite! read more

Super Rico is our spot!! Stafford county definitely disappoints in the food scene and especially with anything other than American burgers and fries or chain restaurants that you can find anywhere. Delicious Peruvian style chicken, heaping helping of flavorful sides and everyone is always so friendly and efficient. Couldn't ask for anything more. They're generous with their sauces and their prices are beyond fair. Cannot recommend Super Rico enough! read more

food was amazing and portions were huge-- super affordable as well! :) the guys working there were also very friendly!

We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday while in the Stafford Market Place shopping at Lowe's. Didn't know that this location (which used to be a Honeybaked Ham, was changed into a Peruvian Chicken joint, but we were very happy to find this out!!! They were moderately busy when we got there and service was quick and friendly. They had tons of sides available, as well as the typical menu you'd find at most Peruvian Chicken joints, like the charcoal chicken and Lomo Saltado, they had Pollo Saltado also. I opted for half chicken which came with two sides. For sides, I chose fried rice and yuca. The fried rice was awesome! I typically love the fried rice at Peruvian Chicken joints more than from Chinese restaurants, and this one here didn't disappoint! Yuca is something I ALWAYS get, as I love the combo of fresh yuca which has been fried up slightly crispy and then dipped into a tasty yellow sauce. Well, their yellow sauce was on-point, but the yuca was dry and had been sitting in the bin a little too long, as they probably made a big batch. On to the chicken - It was spectacular! The flavors of the spices were spot on (even if ever so slightly too salty) and they did an excellent job getting the seasoning rubbed into all crevices and cavities! The chicken was perfectly cooked and moist, definitely not overdone and dry. The green sauce the came with it was fresh, very tasty and perfectly spicy! Spicy enough to make me sweat is exactly how it should be... I went through 10 cups of that delicious stuff!! I saw several people ordering tres leches, so I decided to take a couple home. I tried one in the evening for dessert after dinner and it looked great, but the icing was too sweet. The cream in it was perfect, but the cake was a little too dry, even with the amount of cream in the container, which I do prefer lots of cream and there was the right amount included. Overall, I thought it was a great visit and I'm very happy to know I can get really good Peruvian eats locally! On Sunday they offer ceviche, so I think on my next visit, I'll give that a try. I definitely want to try their Lomo Saltado as well. Highly recommend coming here!! read more

Wow - great Peruvian food! I got the Half Chicken (dark meat) and it was so juicy and delicious! I got the fries and fried rice as my sides and the portion sizes of those are HUGE! I was able to make two meals out of this one, and so did my husband. My husband got the Lomo Saltado and he said it was very good! And the pricing at this restaurant is very good for the amount they give and how tasty the food is! Definitely stop by if you're craving good food! read more

A much needed addition to the restaurants in Stafford! Love seeing authentic restaurants like this in town instead of another mass chain. Great for takeout for groups. I have tried many options off of the menu and everything is so good! Very fresh and flavorful! The chicken is juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. You have to try the yellow sauce with your chicken. Yum! Located near Imperial nail salon and Best Buy in the Stafford Marketplace. read more

Super Rico is here in Stafford, expanding from Fredericksburg. Just opened 2 days ago. Tasty Peruvian chicken and yummy sides like different types of rice, veggies, plantains, yuca, fries, potatoes, beans, etc. Still new so experiencing some issues like assigning the same ticket number to two different customers, lost phone orders (probably routes to the Fredericksburg store) read more

Always a great value. The chicken burrito is massive and the fry's are plentiful. It's enough to make you gain weight

My family LOVES the chicken here! The rice and beans are delicious, but my favorite is the plantains. We have tried the other meats, but always come back to the chicken. I do not eat meat, and they offer a veggie burrito option. It is HUGE!! Stuffed full of rice, beans, peppers, onions and avocado. They give 2 sauces on side, one is green and one is creamy. We practically lick the green sauce packet clean! Their dishes are big enough for 2 people to share. Prices are reasonable- I would highly recommend! read more

$36.x for lunch, for two people. That'd be OK if food was good but it was not fresh. What kinda restaurant serves chicken, yuca and potato fries like a fast food joint would? They had a tray of cold, dry, hard fries that they scooped from and the dry chicken was pulled out of a warmer and it wasn't even warm. Had I not been pressed for time and not so hungry I would have taken the food right back to the counter and gotten a refund. Not very friendly either. Your manager or owner needs to do his/her damned job! I'll never go back. read more

It would be 5 star, but it's overpriced and they nickle and dime you on sauces.... it's a shame, we need a good Peruvian place, but not the high rent DC prices. It's not THAT good for those prices. Heck, Edys famous Peruvian on king street is way less costly.... read more

This is my favorite Peruvian chicken restaurant! I have had guapos, and while that restaurant is delicious, it doesn't hold a candle to Super RIco! It's located near my job, so after they opened and we were doing a work lunch, we decided to get Super Rico. I got a half chicken, and it was moist AF! The flavor was good, and it had a nice amount of char. The creamy yellow-ish sauce was perfect for dipping the chicken in, too! The green sauce is way too spicy for me, so I don't even trifle with it in the slightest. I will say, my yuca fries were not the world's best, but I didn't eat my meal fresh. I probably didn't eat it until it had already sat for about an hour and a half, at which time, I reheated it in the microwave. That could have possibly had an effect on why I wan't blown away by them. They were still decent, but not anything to write home about. The show stopper, though, I will tell you, was the friend platanos! Or plantains, for those who aren't hip. The caramelization on them, the flavor, omg everything about them was amazing. I almost went and ordered a large side to pick up on my way home, but then remembered, I'm on a diet, and I shouldn't have eaten the first side I had that day, hahaha! I cannot comment on the customer service, as I was neither the one who placed the order, nor the one who picked it up. I assume it was fine and dandy, as there was no complaining from the people who did interact with the staff. I can't wait to go back and remember to upgrade my plantains to a large side! read more

This place is so good!! I'd never been here before & I'm upset that I didn't find this place earlier. The workers are nice; they don't speak English well, but friendly. You order at the counter and then they bring the food to you in styrofoam containers, regardless of if you're eating in or to go. I got a chicken quesadilla, it comes with the guacamole, sour cream, & 2 sauces on the side. The guacamole lacked some flavor, but the sauces were really good. My quesadilla was great. read more

Place is hard to find if you do not know where you are going. It is across from Lowes. Assembly line so you better know what you want. I got the Lomo Saltado and a chicken Caesar Salad. It was more than enough food. read more

Stopped by here to grab lunch one day and everything I got was so salty. I ordered the quarter dark meat with green beans and baked potatoes. I kid you not, everything was overly seasoned. I had a great Peruvian chicken experience in Alexandria, so I was really looking forward to this place. Unfortunately, it disappointed. Chicken was dry, plantains were overcooked, green beans were too peppery, and the sauces were boring. Recommend you go next door for kabob. Trust me. read more

Over the past year I've eaten at this place several times with only a few issues with slow service. The inside seating area extends towards the back of the restaurant although the front seating area looks rather small. I've dined in a couple times but majority of my visits are stop in, order, pickup and go. The online ordering (both times) were never worth it because the orders were never ready on time. The food is consistently good; hot and full of flavor. I've had food from the main line (chicken, veggies, rice etc.) and I've ordered other menu items with no issues with either. This is a great, quick, can be healthy (depending on your order), option that I enjoy... especially being a short of a drive away. read more

I'll start by saying I'm so happy they are in stafford!!! The restaurant was pretty cozy the line was really long, but it moved fast. You could see the chickens being cooked and cut up right in front of you. It was like a lunch assembly line. The food was great ! I got the 1/4chicken with green beans and pasta salad (did not like the pasta salad) I did like the rice. When we asked for more sauce they continued to try and not give us more. We offered to pay for it, but they just didn't want to give it to us for whatever reason. We will be back hopefully it's less packed and we get exactly what we wanted! read more

This restaurant recently opened in Stafford so I was excited to try it. It's conveniently located in Stafford Marketplace with plenty of parking. I was disappointed when they got my order wrong though. I always ask for fries or yuca on the side when I get Pollo Saltado to prevent them from getting soggy but unfortunately for me they misheard my order. Then, at checkout I asked for Horchata and the person ringing me up looked me dead in the eyes and said okay and I said are you sure (because they didn't ring it up) and they said yes. I did not get horchata and had to pay separately in order to get it. I also took a star off because the pasta salad was bland. It was pretty much just mayonnaise. Over all, I would not recommend... read more
