The cheeseburger does not look that great but it is very tasty. The truffle and Cajun fries are very tasty but were a little soggy from being in the box. The staff was friendly. Mason Dixon Cafe owns this burger place which is iconic in Fredericksburg because it used to be Mr Dee's and burger place that was around for a very long time. Overall I like this place and will be back to try more.

So glad I was FINALLY able to visit Eats Burgers! This dive burger joint is a nostalgic 90s diner for us to experience today. Simple, affordable, and clean with a professional staff. Food is served hot & fresh. Great place for kids to sip on a soda & eat a burger.

About a 1-1.5: We stopped by Eats Burgers when we were in the area, excited to see a local burger place that also offers hot dogs, fried seafood, and desserts. We ordered: +the Eats Classic burger - this was a quarter pound of local beef used for the smashburger; came with American cheese, pickled red onions, lettuce, and tomatoes; we did request for the Eats sauce to be on the side, but they forgot it; I wasn't a fan of this, as I thought the patty was not seasoned, and the buns were a little off; the hubs enjoyed it, though! +a Chili Dog - this is usually served with a deep-fried all beef foot long dog, but you can make it 'battered & stuffed' (which, I did) at an upcharge; I was curious in how this would turn out, as I was thinking a corn dog type of a situation; it was more like a funnel cake batter, but it was super thick and dense, which made it unenjoyable; I also wasn't a fan of the type of hot dog they were used; this was topped with cheese sauce, sour cream, and jalapenos, but the guacamole and the pico were missing... +a Large Waffle Fries with Cheese Sauce for Dunking - the waffle fries were well-fried and crispy; the cheese sauce was okay; I felt that it had a heavy 'flour-like' taste to it Once you order, you pick it up from their Pick-Up Window (if you're sitting inside), or they bring your orders out to you if you happen to be sitting outside. The inside of the place was way too warm (not sure if it's from the kitchen or the blast of the heater?), so we went for outdoor seating. The place is super cute, as I love the teal blue-like and orange color combo, the burger statue that's out on their patio, and the super friendly staff! Plenty of parking in the two side lots they had. +friendly service +indoor and outdoor seating available +plenty of parking

The food is okay so I don't understand the hype. The Vic's burger is more expensive than the regular ones which doesn't make any sense to me. The sauces are good. I could taste the old oil in waffle fries and Brussel sprouts. This place isn't for me.

Decided to try Eats Burgers instead of a chain burger place. I am glad we did! I ordered a smash burger with tomatoes and grilled onions and onion rings, our other order was a smash bacon cheeseburger with waffle fries. The server was friendly and brought the order to our table hot and fresh. The onion rings were amazing! The decor was warm inviting and had a diner vibe to it with outdoor seating. When visiting Fredericksburg VA again we will make this one of our stops.

Great smash burger that's decently priced if you only get one patty. The kids meal is the size of a regular meal, and the fries were soooo yummy! These waffle fries are 10x better than chick-fil-a's waffle fries. Did not try a milkshake, but saw what they look like and they look yummy! Small indoor seating (five booths), but plenty of seating outdoors. Service is quick, but we went when it was not busy. Definitely stop by.

The truffle mayonnaise was really yummy!

Staff was nice! Lots of crumbs on the table and chairs. Nothing we can't brush off. And the cups keep leaking I like the vintage vibe.

As a longtime Cookout fan who first discovered the chain during late night college runs in North Carolina, I always make a point to stop by whenever I'm near one of their northernmost locations in Fredericksburg, VA. Over the years, Cookout has come a long way from the plain white Styrofoam trays to the new branded paper boxes with vent holes, which do a great job of keeping fried foods crispy and fresh. I've dined inside this location about half a dozen times and have always had a great experience. The restaurant is consistently clean, the staff are friendly, and service is quick. My go to order is the Cookout Tray with a big double burger prepared Cookout Style, which means Carolina chili, slaw, cheese, and raw onions. I usually get fries and onion rings as my sides. Even though the tray used to be $3.99 back in my college days, the current price of $6.99 still feels like a great value considering the portion size and quality. On my most recent visit, I was extra hungry and decided to try a second mini tray for $5.99. I went with two corndogs as the main and added cheese bites and hush puppies as sides, plus a Snickers milkshake to top it off. Everything came out hot, fresh, and exactly how I remember it. The milkshake was thick and creamy, just the way it should be, and I was absolutely stuffed by the end. Cookout's big double burgers, whether you get them Cookout Style or Cheddar Style with grilled onions, cheese sauce, and bacon, are easily some of the best fast food burgers for the price. Between the generous portions, variety of options, and late night hours (many locations stay open until 3 a.m.), Cookout continues to deliver on both taste and value. Overall, this Fredericksburg location has never disappointed me and remains one of my favorite stops when I'm craving a classic Cookout meal. Five stars all around for great food, friendly service, and consistent quality.

I went inside to place my order and it wasn't busy so there no line. Inside was clean and orderly. I ordered a bbq tray with a corn dog and walking taco with jalapeños as my sides and a Cheerwine to drink. The menagerie of menu items is impressive and the fact that corn dogs and walking tacos are offered as sides is amazing on so many levels! (The walking taco is not listed on the online menu but they do have it!) I always order the bbq sandwich with bbq sauce on the side and in addition to the hot sauce and coleslaw it normally comes with. My meal today was nothing short of delicious as per usual and I left for my drive home happy and satisfied with my experience.

Prices are not cheap, but I decided to get a pound of pulled pork ($16) to go. Once I got home I made some pulled pork sandwiches using the sweet BBQ sauce they provided (the other option was Carolina style sauce). The meat was DELICIOUS! It was juicy and smoky. Absolutely perfect and worth the money. If you're looking to feed an army (aka family), I think the per-pound offerings are a better deal. Take the meat home and fix it into sandwiches or a platter. The coleslaw was also very good and had a tinge if sweetness. A small container is $3.50. Overall, I loved their BBQ. There's plenty of parking and I'll certainly be back!

The folks here are friendly and service is pretty quick. Prices are fair. They have most everything a southern BBQ joint would have, except beef. Once home we cracked into lunch... it all looked and smelled pretty good. But everything except the smoked mac & cheese was way too salty. The smokey flavor of the pork and the beans were good, but the salt level in both was ridiculously high, same with the cole slaw. It's a shame because the flavors were decent if there wasn't so much salt. Sauces were just ok, nothing special there. Not sure what happened with the seasonings, but doubt I'll return.
