No minor issues like decor can obscure the wonderful service! A LOT of servers in this area consider waiting tables just a job to be done and gotten over with and customers a nuisance. Whether they truly feel it or not, the staff here present themselves as practicing their vocation. But none of this compares to the warmth and personal attention of Mrs. Hyon Harding, the owner. Mrs. Hyon always greets you like you are a welcome guest - not a dollar sign. She takes the time during each visit to personally visit each table to make sure everything is to your satisfaction and you are happy. And it is not just some token "drive by." The staff at The Log Cabin was very accommodating and seated us in front of their beautiful fireplace in the dining room. The menu is loaded with so many seafood options, the majority of which are done in the traditional style (broiled, baked, fried) and all of it was appetizing when reading the descriptions in the menu. Everything we got was great! Everyone loved their dishes. It was plated beautifully and was obviously made using very fresh seafood and other ingredients. We loved the food so much that we'll most definitely return for a date night and for future special dinners. I hope they continue to be successful and stay around another 84 years!
