This is my go to spot for lunch. I only live 10ish minutes from the strip where Guacamole is located and I'm so thankful! I work from home, so I'll often bring my laptop and work while eating because it's such a chill atmosphere. You always get seated promptly by one of their friendly staff. After my first two visits, one of their regular servers remembered my drink order (bottled Mexican Coke & ice water) and would bring it out with chips & salsa upon my seating. They have a super reasonably priced lunch menu. My go to lunch order is the fajitas (pictured). The fact that you can get a drink, lunch portioned meal, AND unlimited chips & salsa for less than $15 is unbeatable. Not only that, but the food is so fucking good. Good food, good service, clean restaurant. Great place to eat with family. I have eaten here multiple times with my family. We enjoy it. Great little spot for Mexican food in town. I usually order the 3 combo meal. And pricing is very reasonable for meals. I'm glad they don't over price like a lot of greedy places. This is one of the reasons why I like coming here. When they don't over prices I can be more generous with my tip to the server. The places out there that over charge I only leave a certain regular expected tip amount. I wish more places out there were reasonable like this place. Again this Mex restaurant is good. Give it a try. I recommend it. read more

Small strip mall location but the decor is nice and festive and the atmosphere is very casual. Our server was great-friendly and prompt. My friend and I got the table side guacamole which was delicious and fun to watch being prepared. I got a classic margarita on the rocks which was delicious and my friend got the frozen pineapple margarita. Our meals were the enchiladas Mexicanas with rice and beans and the beef quesadilla with rice and beans. Both were fresh tasting and delicious. They work so hard to make sure you are happy, and because of that I want to like this place; but the food has no flavor. The guacamole dip is a must to have any flavor at all, but that had way too much lime. The chips, clearly from a bag, were stale. I won't be coming back. Trust me. read more

It wouldn't be fair if I rated them based on my meal because I ordered something I never eat so instead I will rate based on my husband's meal. He ordered steak fajitas with no rice and double beans. I lived in this area for 3 years. I figured we would give this place a try with some friends instead of heading to fredericksburg as we would normally do. BIG MISTAKE! Over priced for what you get. I ordered the rib-eye/chicken/ shrimp& chorizo figuring it would be a nice size dinner. Especially costing $17. Wasn't expecting a lot of steak or shrimp at that price but the quality was not there. Also had to wait a very long time for our food. I will say that are very friendly people just wish the food was more worth what they are charging. Would love to support local businesses but don't want to feel as I'm being ripped off either. Very Disappointing. The 2 stars was for the politeness and the salsa was good. Service was pretty good. You get free chips and salsa. Food was good. Shrimp and chicken breast was good that my wife ordered. I got chicken and steak fajitas which were just ok. I would go back for the shrimp. My daughter got mac and cheese which was bad and watery. Horchata was pretty good too. I ordered a coke and they brought me a mexican coke which is not free refills. Later found out if i ordered pepsi i would get fountain drink with refills. All in all will probably be back because its the only decent mexican place around. read more
