    Camarones Con Arroz.
    Jeremy W.

El Vaquero is my most eaten restaurant in Orange. You always know what you're getting, good food and nice people. Today I switched it up and got the Camarones Con Arroz, which was shrimp, veggies, rice, and guacamole. It was pretty good, but it wasn't as good as the Pollo Loco, which is my usual. We also got chips and salsa, which comes with the meal. Good stuff. I also recommend getting the cheese dip, which is my favorite. Overall, it's a good spot. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in Orange!

Tamale, enchilada, refried beans and rice.

The waiter was kind and attentive. Kept calling us "amigos" at first, then later switched to "friends." The place is clean. The carvings on the back of the booths are fun and colorful. The food was average. We are big fans of Mexican food. Most of the reviews here are so glowing! So of course we went. I thought we were in for a treat of awesome real Mexican food. The salsa was too spicy without any real flavor. Just spicy. The corn chips were very good. The tamales were ok. (Tamales are a favorite of my entire family generally.) the enchilada were good until I realized it sort of tasted like processed cheese sauce. The refried beans were ... ok - that's the best I can say. The rice was ... ok also. To conclude, the staff was good. I like the staff. They are fun. The food was below average for us. We won't be returning.

I'm visiting my family after a sudden, unexpected death, and I've already sent messages to friends and family recommending your wonderful restaurant. During our last visit, I asked if I could meet the Chef. My Sister and I got to meet Doc, and express our appreciation for his food freshness and the beautiful taste thanks to Lori facilitating our meeting. He encouraged us to return and profusely thanked us for the feedback. If you're in Orange; Spottsvania; Charlottesville; or heading anywhere to the North and South along the 95 corridor, please stop by the Silk Mill Grille, ask for Lori - who will make your experience enhanced by her incredible work ethic and welcoming demeanor. If Doc and his crew are in the kitchen - you are in for a treat. My Sister and I are Senior Citizens. Our trips to meals out were more frequent when we were both working full time. Now, we are very picky about where we go. We both encourage you to treat yourself and be sure to ask for Lori. PS: This facility is spotless. It's clearly a hidden gem awaiting your discovery.

The burger was cooked well. The fries were soggy, limp and lackluster. Service was great but overall, it was meh. They had some beer on tap but opted for a canned IPA. If you're really hungry stop on by, but if you pass up on stopping, you're not missing out. -Buen Provecho!

The concept is simple: you provide the kitchen and the guests and she provides the food, utensils, optional wine pairings, and scientific expertise to cook you an amazing meal (she cleans up, too!) that is cost-effective without compromising nutritional value. There are usually about five menus she has available per month and they are always evolving. Dinner parties range from 4-8 guests and the meals can be tailored to your event. At $60 per person, with the host receiving 50% off, this makes for a fun and unique experience that is actually improving your life. I've given dinner parties as gifts and it is ALWAYS a hit.
