What is there not to love about jersey mikes - go and order the big kahuna - either with beef or chicken.

I have had really good food from here. I sometimes Need to say I like certain things on or off the sub. Depending on the complex order they seem to have a lot to manage if they do a sub that isn't a traditional sub. They seem nice and they try but I feel like if I have more than 3 subs I hold everybody up trying to personalize them. I've had customers ask to go around me to pay and I'm thinking it's just a few subs. I don't know why it has to be like this but the the subs are a little pricy and I would like to get what I am paying for, and sometimes I get home and they are not right. read more

We decided to give them another chance after a great experience at their Celebrate Virginia location. What you would expect from a Jersey Mikes. They are fast, efficient, made up order right in front of you. They're quite average and often satisfy in terms of their cheesesteaks. Their teas are typically rancid, so go for the sodas or water. It can get quite noisy during rushes but is great overall. read more

Went yesterday evening and upon ordering, immediately felt uncomfortable with the vibe and demeanor of the dark haired kid and cashier... intuition said leave; however, I chose kindness, recognizing that these kids are.... these kids . Anyways, it was clear that this was our first visit... overall, the bread was stale, my kid's chicken sub was wrapped and placed in a bag, before he could even ask for toppings. Needless to say, our 2 subs came to $38 something and were literally THEEE worse sandwiches that either of us have EVER had. Seriously. His, of course, was dry and mine was smothered in mayo. This is a sub shop. Pretty basic right? Dining in is an option, but most people are just going to come in and get a sub to go. Jersey Mike's has always been a cut above the rest in terms of flavor for me. And this particular location doesn't disappoint. Yesterday I stopped in for a #5 "The Super Sub", regular size on Rosemary Parm bread, add bacon. They slice the meat fresh, and boy, it's plentiful, but not too much. Got it "Mike's Way". Been here many of times. This location is clean, efficient and the food is always fresh...bread is soft, meats taste fresh, fresh cheeses, variety. Can't say enough about Jersey Mike's! One of my favorite sub shops, and this location works really hard and it shows. Hats off to the employees! read more

I am new to Jersey Mike's and I must say first the food is amazing. We all know the food can be great but when the service is on point then that makes the whole experience even better. I came in with my daughter for the second time and the store was so clean and the buffet style condiments all looked so fresh swear my mouth was already watering! The service was impeccable the 3 men behind the counter were so amazing, friendly, patient and all had smiles. The manager Marcus along with Jesse and Nicholas are total rockstar. (Route 1) Store 6095 I wrote a review today about the excellent staff who worked at this Jersey Mikes. I went from Norfolk to Buffalo and back for a funeral. I was exhausted. it hit me to look at the little things. The staff greeted my family while simultaneously helping customers, cleaning the floor, and helping someone with the bathroom door. It was nice to see young people working so hard. I try to write reviews when I can because a lot of great people go unnoticed. I wasn't expecting anything in return. Back home we would order from Jersey Mike's at minimum once a week. My finacé LOVES this place. Always gets a Giant 44 the buffalo chicken cheesesteak. Don't forget to check-in to receive a free combo with a regular or giant sub. Free chips and a drink? Yes, please! My husband said his sub was good. Overdid the bleu cheese, but still delicious. A little suggestion, you should greet or acknowledge all your customers. If other customers get an initial greet the ones that don't, really feel unwelcomed. Otherwise, everything was wonderful. Worst service ever. After a very long day of volunteer work today, my wife and I decided to share a Jersey Mike's portobello mushroom cheesesteak sandwich; extra meat, extra cheese, extra mushrooms. We ordered for take-out using the app - it was a $30.00 sandwich! Much to our surprise, the sandwich had only a few mushrooms and a little bit of cheese. Calling this location to report this error and to ask for a new sandwich, both the staff member and the manager did the following: -Blamed us for how we ordered the sandwich because it "confused a new employee" -Stated that because of the time we called (five minutes before closing time) they would not remake the sandwich. They offered either a refund OR to have "free sandwich the next day" -The manager clearly stated that he was following the training giving to him personally by the franchise owner I do not recall either person offering an apology. As expected, this reaction left me quite upset. As tired as we were, my wife and I had to leave our house again to patronize another restaurant. This is the place where I had the best sub of my life, made by the outstanding employee Brooke. Brianna was very helpful when I visited and made sure that all the outrageous specifications I had were met to the tee. This dude Colby was sweeping and let me tell you, not a SPECK of dirt escaped his wrath. Matea had a cool blue shirt. I have never had a bad experience here. I come here so much they should call me a giant instead of a regular! Also if you ask for a sticker they will give you one for FREE! For a vegetarian there are two options--a wrap and "The Veggie" available in mini, regular, and giant sizes. The bummer is the VERY LIMITED options to add onto your sub. The standard is green peppers and two cheese types then add from the few options -- mayo and mustard, oil and vinegar, shredded iceberg lettuce. Deli slice tomatoes and some hot peppers. We bought two large subs and spent $28....then stopped by Wawa since we were still hungry. It might be a great sandwich for carnivores, but waaaaay overpriced and under-optioned for a vegetarian. I usually order online and the thing I like about this place is mobile order pickups are super easy and there's never a long wait for me. This is my favorite place to get subs. My personal favorite is the #17. This is the steak and cheese sub. The meat is always tasty and well seasoned, the cheese is melty and delicious and the onions are cut perfectly thin. I have ordered online to go with no issue. I have also dined in and had wonderful experiences. The team members have always been polite and made me feel welcomed. The subs are always fresh and their bread is so good. I love the lays lattice cut aged cheese and pepper chips they compliment the sub perfectly. My whole family loves this place and we will continue to get subs here. read more
