Great food but I was thrown off and taken back by a lady that was working today. She was speaking with a rude tone to a new employee she was training. She was being very rude and loud about it where we can hear everything she was saying. If I was to ever work in a food place and have somebody speak the way she did to the new employee I wouldn't feel welcomed or apart of the team nor would I look forward to going back to work. I appreciate the "Jimmy John's" approach to burger making. Financially sound. But a burger place with no Swiss cheese? A burger place that has only like ten options for a burger? This location is great! Lines always move quick, staff is very friendly. Always have liked this burger place. It's one of my favorite burgers- it's a great your own kind of place. They give you a ridiculous amount of fries that are very yummy. Endless peanuts, that are self serve. The potatoes are fresh for the fries! My first less than stellar review of a Five Guys. The burger was fine. The fries were great. So, why 3 stars? Simple. The music was so loud that my order got messed up. I said it clearly and quickly, and the cashier couldn't hear it. I used the words that Five Guys has on their reader board. Come on, turn it down. You can make burgers without having to BLAST the music. Second issue - they have an emergency exit on the south side of the restaurant. It was 13 Deg F out yesterday, and people were using it. I've had a few meals from Five Guys and always find the food quality to be good. The burgers are made to order, it's nice to choose what you want or don't want on your burger. The fries are delicious, and plentiful. A large order easily feeds two people. I've never dined in, I always use the iPhone app, it makes ordering very easy and you can choose your pick up time. If you're looking for cheap burgers that come with toys, this isn't the place. The food is on the pricey side, but worth the expense. I will say the lay out of the restaurant is a bit confusing. There is a non-working drive thru window, and first timers will want to drive thru to pick up their order. My advice, don't look like a newbie, park and walk in to pick up your food. read more

I wanted to bring my family here because I've heard good things about Five Guys and we've never been here before. I was totally disappointed with them. The burgers were pretty good but average at best. They are better than McDonalds but about the same taste wise as Culver's but definately not as good as Portillos. The fries were OK but on the burnt side. It was a Saturday evening around 7pm so it was well past evening rush and every open table was filthy dirty, we had to clean off a table just to sit down. Also, it was a hot day which Is why we went inside to eat and cool off but it was as hot inside as out. It was a very uncomfortable dining experience to sweat while we ate. First time we've been to Five Guys. OMG, me and my husband was so impressed!! I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it had TONS of bacon on it!!! And you get to add anything on your burger you want if you get a meal. I had portabella mushrooms,grilled onions,mayo, wow it was delicious!! My husband ordered a BLT with extra bacon. Lots & lots of bacon stacked!!! He loved it!! Then we ordered fries to share. There was a nice employee working his name was Sam,he asked how everything was. We said GREAT! Pretty good burgers. The cashier dude was really nice. They greet you when you come in and when you get your food. Fries are extremely salty and cooked in peanut oil, so be careful if you have an allergy. It felt like I was at Wrigley Field because of all the peanut shells on the floor, some people are really messy, but the employee was there to pick up quick. So I had a lot of fun last night; I got to see Goosebumps, bought the Paper Towns Blu-Ray combo pack, and bought the Boy Inkling and Captain Falcon amiibos. And the place I got to eat at? Five Guys. Some of the pros are that the burgers were honestly pretty good and they had soda machines that worked pretty well. Some of the cons are that I didn't like how the menu had so little to choose from! I think they had a Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Bacon Burger and Bacon Cheeseburger on the left side, and on the right side they had the same things but in smaller proportions. Yet, another con is that the inside was a freezing mess. The air conditioner turned out to be blasting cold air when we went inside and there were extra boxes of peanuts and peanut oil sitting everywhere. But, I still got to pretend skate on the slippery bathroom floors. Anyways, I have nothing else to say but that eating at Five Guys was a wonderfully average experience and only recommend it to people who have a high tolerance for crowded restaurants and cold air. read more

So when I spend $14.77 on a burger and fries I would like the service to be at least halfway decent and I was highly disappointed on my last visit. I walk in notice 3 workers, 2 guys making food and a girl with purple hair stocking and stand at the register for about 3 minutes before even being acknowledged. I decided to go to the bathroom and come back. When I get back there is still no one to take my order. Finally one of the 2 guys working stepped over to take my order. Order is placed but I can tell they were backed up a little so I knew I'd be there a little while. Then another lady emerges from the back that I can only assume was the manager because she took control of the orders making sure everything was getting out efficiently and quickly. The girl with purple hair was at the end of the line handing orders but she seemed very irritated but what I'm not sure but after placing fries in bags she would call out the order number then throw the bag on the counter. There were 3 orders called before mine and she did that to everyone one. At some point the manager did something to her about taking tickets for orders that have not been completed and that sent her in a bigger fit. She then turned to the guy and started saying something under her breath, clearly upset about being corrected. My order was finally ready she called the order and threw my bag just as she had done to the other orders. I noticed she had not given me my fries. She grabbed back my bag sucked her teeth and proceeded to put the fries in the bag and again threw the bag on the counter. I worked retail for 17 years, I get it but seriously. Maybe the purple haired girl is not cut out for placing fries in bags if that's the attitude she has. Probably will take my business up rt-59 next time I want to burger. read more
