Best burgers in the high desert. Only order a small fri as it will be as big as a large. Try the Cajun fris. They are great.

Pretty good burger, but I don't think its worth the almost $6.00 I paid. And that's just for the burger. Haven't tried the fries or sides yet. Atmosphere is good with music playing and clean tables and friendly staff. Free peanuts in the shell are offered while you wait for take out or at your table, that's a nice touch. Will try again with full meal and re rate my review. But as for now, for $6.00 for a burger, I will take In & Out Burger. read more

I really want to like five guys, but this is the second time here (not this location- five guys in general) and there is just something missing. The restaurants are clean, the staff is decent, the fries or just okay and the burgers need some flavor. I don't think they season their patties- idunno. Maybe next time I'll ask to add some fry seasoning to the actual burger. Thing is, I haven't been to five guys in probably a year and it'll must likely be another year before I give em another try. read more

I love Five Guys! The service is always great here. My family has been coming here, since December 2013. Honestly I can say, they have been constantly good every time. If you're a die hard, in & out fan then maybe nothing will compare for you. My husband was a die hard fan until he tried Five Guys back in 09, he's not anymore. Yes they are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Yes, you can get a cheaper meal at in & out. If you like wafer thin and mediocre food, in & out might be the place for you. read more

Why would you give these great burgers lass than five stars? They are delicious! Not only that, you can get anything on top for free... The fries are also great and they come in plain or Cajun flavor. There is a cool drink dispenser that has a seemingly endless array of flavored you can add to your Coke or other soda. I personally like vanilla Coke. read more

This was our first time here. Loved the choice of music although I think that the elderly couple would have chosen differently. The cashier was polite n said that we could go sit ourselves and they would serve us. We tried for Dr. Pepper and it was totally out. Told them n they said it would be handled right away. 10 mins later nothing so my husband went for coke and made a comment about how they are slow n how all the back tables r dirty, causing us to having to sit directly in front of the door. The manager(female) wasn't happy with my husbands comments n stated that they had customers there but we were the second family there. Once we got our food that we had to pick up, it smelled good, n looked at my burger n seen my grilled onions weren't there n either were my grilled mushrooms. I went to get them n the manager asked me if I had the right burger instead of just giving me what I had ordered in the first place. She finally gave them to me n I seen that the mushrooms weren't grilled n were steamed out of a can. GROSS! So we proceeded to eat our overly salted fries n burgers and I bit into a small piece of bone!!! GROSS AGAIN! Anyhow while new customers were coming in n being greeted, they were even asked if this was their first time there by this manager who wouldn't even look our way. She went around asking other customers how they were doing n if their food was good n would avoid us instead of trying to make it right with us. Needless to we will never visit again for an over priced bad experience. 20 bucks for 2 burgers 1 fry n 1 soda could have gotten me a good family meal at Archibalds! I hate give such a bad review, but they really need to work on people skills if they are working in this type of business. It's really simple to put a smile on your face and realize that lunch time is the busiest time for a fast food place so be ready ! The Burger was really good... Actually Great... Was not thrilled with the Customer Service and they threw all the fries and the Burger is one bag... The Fries and the Burger was just great... Just don't like my food mixed with other peoples... I asked him to separate it and was told that's the way we do it... Not to mention I had to clean my own table... I love coming here after school. The employees here are great and very friendly! Their burgers are unique with a plethora of toppings and sauces. The environment 5 guys presents is fun and friendly. Its cool to watch them prepare your food within full view of the entire kitchen. I will definitely be coming back and only have good things to say about this place read more

Usually have absolutely no issues with this place and it isn't even about the food. Normally it's great customer and no problems but tonight SARAI had some sort of issue and decided she was going to take it out on us. First while ordering she wasn't paying attention and had to ask us multiple times about what we wanted on the burger and then we waited for our food which didn't take long at all. The cook promptly made our food and called our number, but we were missing the milkshake. The cook asked SARAI if she had made it and she just replied with "oh" "no" and carried out her conversation with the other girl working. With absolute no hustle and zero rush she decided to put gloves on and make the milkshake on her time. While we waited at the counter where the call for you food she finishes it up and instead of walking over to us and maybe apologizing for forgetting she proceeded to just set it on the counter in front of her and call it out. Now I get it that it's not a far walk but it's the principle of it and she just has terrible customer service. Sucks because this definitely ruined our experience here at five guys. read more

I had been hearing from people at work about how great the food was at "Five Guys." Then this location opened, and I decided to try it. The french fry orders feed two to three people and taste good. The "eat free peanuts and throw the shells on the floor" thing is a repeated novelty. The burgers didn't have any extraordinary taste, nor did they justify the high price. Ate at Five Guys Burgers and Fries in Hesperia Ca the other day and it was good but a bit pricy. Like $11 for burger small fries and a coke. The beef had a good flavor to it and the fries were just kind of OK. The peanuts were good though. They have boxes of peanuts for you munch on while your food is being prepared and self service sodas for refills. Service was pretty fast and they get you out in a jiffy. Don't know if I would go back again mainly because of the cost. read more

One of the best chain restaurants out there. Simply Google best chains in America for further proof. Great ingredients and a great atmosphere. The staff is top notch and the burgers are well known for a reason. Leave your calorie counting at the door and enjoy. This place can be pretty pricy, but the burgers and fries are fresh, made to order, and you can customize your burgers with various toppings. In my opinion, while being IN-N-OUT's competitor it definitely doesn't disappoint and I would much rather hit up Five Guys anytime. They give you the size of fries you order plus some. Won't ever go to this location again True the burgers are good and yes the prices are at a premium but the customer service is where they fall utterly short First I waited our turn in the area designated as you walk in to the left. While it was a little of a wait I understand that sometimes you need to be patient with good food. But then I watched a guy come straight to the counter bypassing the line altogether and the cashier seemed strangely familiar with him as he ordered After he completed his order I said to the cashier " I guess you don't have to wait in line here" expecting maybe an apology or something which my order. I wanted to make sure she understood my subtle comment so I then asked why she took the guys order who had just walked in before mine. This was when I was sure she was getting pissy and had heard my first comment I was then told by the cashier in a confrontational manner that he was there first when I watched the guy come in the door as I was waiting on line I restated this fact and she vehemently stated I was wrong and asked if I was going to order or complain At this point I cancelled my order and asked to speak to the on duty manager who I was told was not available. This was kind of funny to me because there is a sign in the area where we were waiting in line stating that if there are any issues to ask for the on duty manager who was conveniently not available for me At this point I asked for a corporate phone number or someone that I could call and I was told there was no corporate number and that I could call the branch managers office number which they did give to me This number and I may be wrong was a recording and sounded awfully like a cell phone voicemail which I did leave a message on just stating that I had an issue in the store and I would appreciate a call back to discuss their customer service procedures Now most all of you reading this have at some time done some kind of customer service in your life like myself and know what good customer service and bad customer service is but apparently this cashier felt servicing persons whom she was familiar with first, becoming confrontational with me and then lying to me about a corporate number was good customer service Not sure if this is how she has been instructed to handle these situations or if she did it on her own but due to the unwillingness of anyone to call me back and the fact I did find a corporate number on line whom I will be contacting Monday I am assuming it is the former rather than the later As this review has become more long winded than I wanted to be I would offer you this advice Stay away from a brunette cashier with he hair up in a bun (sorry didn't get a name) and don't expect any management to call you back if you have any issues I think they figure that because the product is good they don't have to deliver good customer service with integrity read more

So, I had heard all of this noise about Five Guys and how they were the best fast food burger joint in the whole world and yada-yada-yada. Figured I needed to try this place out and see what all the hype was about. My buddy, who had eaten at a Five Guys before in the San Diego area, and I went for a late lunch. This location is kind of small, but there were plenty of empty tables, as they weren't busy. Since they weren't busy, they probably should have cleaned some of those empty tables before we asked for a rag to do it ourselves (and they let us!) I ordered a single with standard fixings and fries with cajun seasoning. The menu had an impressive list of items to put on your burger, but I wanted to keep it simple so I could judge the burger, not the toppings. The food was served promptly and it was obviously freshly made. The burger was good-sized, but the bun was still too large for the patty. The tomatoes on the burger were terrible; they weren't even red, more like a whitish pink. The other fixings were fine. The burger was tasty, but the patty was loose and ended up falling apart while I was eating the burger. Honestly I felt like I was eating a burger that I had made at home. Even the bun seemed like a Stater Bros "Giant" bun. That may be what some people enjoy about this place, but not me. The fries were okay, and there were a ton of them, but they go overboard on the seasoning. Altogether a disappointing experience. And a terrible value, as my meal was over $10. As for the peanuts; they were a nice snack while waiting for the food to be ready, but they really leave a mess all over the dining area (which the employees don't seem willing to clean up.) As a caveat, I will say that my buddy told me that his experience (and food) were better the other time he ate at a Five Guys, so this may have just been an unfortunate first experience here. read more

The burgers taste great. They better for the price. The ordering process is not ideal for anyone with children. They have so many options for your burger except different kinds of cheese, it is American or nothing. The fries tasted gross, old and overcooked. They gave me a lot of them, and we ended up throwing them all out. Now me and my children are lovers of fries and potato's so it really was a deal breaker to have such nasty fries. The decor is awful. I do not think they left a single square blank, it is wall to wall with how great the place is (or at least other locations where). The bathroom isn't even safe. It is as if they know they taste awful and want to brainwash you in to thinking otherwise with all this proof they are not an overpriced burger joint. If all you want is a burger and you do not mind the price, then get your burger to go. I went when it was newly opened, they had no excuse why the food tasted old and I have gone again and the fries where still poorly cooked, some where overcooked and some where undercooked. Smells amazing walking in the door. Friendly staff. Ordered the Cheeseburger with Mayo & Ketchup. When I got the burger, it had barely any mayo or ketchup and both was centered in the very middle of the buns so I added a lot more ketchup to it. Taste- nothing special about it.
