Never again! I have gone to the Rusty Bull numerous times over the years but at some point they have turned it into a gentlemen's club. My husband and I went the other night in search of a tasty steak. What we got was some entirely different. Our young waitress arrived at our table in her low cut tank top and skin tight jeans and promptly leaned over at the waist placing both hands on our table and presenting her breasts in our faces and asked what we were drinking. We were both so shocked we really didn't know how to react. She returned with our water and steaks and proceeded to circle my husband and rub her hand along the back of his chair lightly stroking his back like she was about to give him a lap dance. I gave her a few words of advice and we boxed our dinner to go. She seemed shocked that a married couple in their 60s did not appreciate her disgusting little performance. Apparently this is the only way she knows how to relate to her customers. Very sad. What happened to a kind voice and a gentle smile and prompt courteous service. I did speak to the male manager before leaving and he said that he would speak to her. When I stated that I truly thought that it was part of their marketing agenda he related that they would never encourage inappropriate behavior. The whole experience was horrible! It felt like sexual harassment. Several friends that I've spoke to have related similar experiences. Said that the girls are very very flirty in search of Tips. I think it's time the Rusty Bull needs to change their signage to forearm the public the kind of place it is. If the management at Rusty Bull is encouraging that these women young women to flaunt themselves like strippers then they should be Ashamed of them selves. read more

I came here for the prime rib which is available only on Wednesdays. It was disappointing, unfortunately. I usually order prime rib medium rare. This was a solid rare which had been heated on the grill to achieve the medium rare temperature. I do not enjoy a seared prime rib. It also tasted like an "Everything Bagel" seasoning mix was used for the rib roast. The flavor just didn't work. The portion size, however, was good. The meal came with two sides and a garlic toast. I chose the seasonal vegetables and a dinner salad. The salad was fresh tasting and I enjoyed that. It was the best tasting item of the meal. The sautéed seasonal vegetables were just okay with a mix of broccoli, zucchini, summer squash, and peppers. Garlic toast was serviceable. Staff here is very friendly and efficient. No problems there. The restaurant was decorated nicely with plenty to look at while dining. I would probably return to try other items on the menu but definitely not return for the prime rib. read more

This is the fourth year in a row. We visited your establishment when we are in the area for a competition. I decided to order something different so I got the chicken fried steak. We had a table of eight, everyone else's food was out, and they brought mine. When it arrived, it was literally ice cold. Took me a while to get the attention of the waitress, and I told her about it. She offered to get me another plate. It did however, come out piping hot, but everyone at my table was finished with their dinner. The waitress offered no compensation, so I chased down the Manager. I am so excited to say that Rusty Bull has WRAPS! Today I tried the Roast Beef Wrap with potato salad. Before I get in to the wrap I have said it before and will say again, they have the BEST and COLDEST salads and potato salad and are totally my favorite in the High Desert. My wrap was huge I could not finish it and believe me, I am no small eater. Another PLUS - They have GARAGE BREWING CO on tap. I am so happy right now. A restaurant in my eyes and in this day and age MUST carry good brewery beer and once again Rusty Bull does not disappoint.
