I stopped to write this review because for a brief minute, I considered not tipping (web order) and then was like nah, give them $2. I am so glad I did! Everyone working was so so so so nice and polite. And I really do appreciate the extra work that goes into making fresh food like five guys does. I could probably carbon copy my last review of a Five Guys, but I figured I'd try to provide a different perspective. Also, it wasn't quite as wonderful this time around.. Five Guys Burgers and Fries is a sprawling, nationwide chain that serves a more premium burger than most fast food joints. Surprisingly, this particular location seems to be a little overlooked with its proximity to the more popular (and, in my opinion, superior) In-N-Out Burger. It's actually in the same plaza as a Chipotle, a Pei Wei, and a Jimmy John's. Heck, I've lived here for the year or so that this restaurant has been open and I've avoided trying it until now. I had a very positive experience in my last visit to a Five Guys. I decided to duplicate my exact order. My entree was the cheeseburger ($6.79), which is a double patty monster (as opposed to the "little" burgers). I had it topped "all the way" (a standard order of several toppings) plus relish. My side was a large order of cajun fries ($4.99). The burger was great. The patty was a little dry, but the cheese and all the toppings cover this up for the most part. The bun held the contents just fine. I thought it could have used a little more salt, but savory and sweet flavors (and a little sourness from the pickles) provide plenty of stimuli for the taste buds. As for the fries, I expected a tremendous portion since I intentionally tried to give myself leftovers. Well, it looks like more fries were in the rest of the bag than in the actual fry-holding cup. Not sure how you'd handle this otherwise, but I gave up and took my order home and emptied the bag into a plate. The cajun seasoning was delicious, but I recall the fries themselves being more crunchy before. They were mostly soft tonight when I ate a handful at the restaurant. Texture is everything with fries, and on top of that, the seasoning/salt was uneven at best. The complimentary snacking peanuts are as tasty as anywhere. The size of this store is actually just about the same as the last one that I visited. I have no idea how busy it gets during meal rushes, but I went around an hour before closing and saw no customers at all inside and placed/received my order quickly. Overall, this visit was less than ideal. Compared to what I had here tonight, I would certainly prefer In-N-Out and I might even go for the drive all the way to the Strip for Shake Shack. But it's still better than most of the chains out there, so it's worth an occasional visit. read more

I'm just not even going to bother with this place anymore. My order almost ALWAYS gets messed up. I came in tonight and after paying, saw on the receipt that something was missing from my order so I went to the cash register to get it fixed not even 2 mins after ordering and when I got home the item was STILL missing as well as some items from my boyfriends order. This NOT the first time my order has been messed up but it will sure be the last. Never coming here again I'm just over it. If I'm spending money I expect to get EVERYTHING I paid for. If you're out of something then inform the customer that it's not available so they can adjust. Do better guys. read more

We would have been better off going anywhere else than this place (Del Taco makes better burgers and that's saying a lot). I stopped coming to this location a couple years ago because they would ALWAYS mess up my order by putting the wrong toppings on my burger, every time. Decided to revisit it today & I see not much has changed. They got my burger order right, but we had to remind them we ordered milkshakes in order for someone to finally make them. My daughter loves getting her favorite meal, grilled cheese and Oreo shake from Five Guys. We tried this one over 3 years ago and we all disliked it. The Five Guys on Lake Mead, Las Vegas Blvd and Eastern are pretty good. We tried this one on Sunset less than a week ago and she hated it. She said that it had an overwhelming taste of mayonnaise and that the shake was watery. I doubt we'll be ordering from this one again. read more

I go for the peanuts I tell the guy LOL I do I can't get enough of the salted, in the shell, roasted, dodger stadium style free peanuts! The burgers are great, juicy and any/all toppings you want to add. The fries are great they are kind of like small steak fries, they have like mashed tatoes inside and lightly salted they are SO good dipped in ketchup. I've been to Five guy's many times and NEVER have I received such a small portion of fries. Literally a small but barely filled. Cashier looks me dead in my eyes as he helps the people ahead of me then leaves the register when I'm at the counter and after his coworker tells him hey there's someone waiting he says "I saw you but I didn't see you" what does that even mean. Hella friendly to all the white patrons but not so much to their black customers. Seems like this area isn't too black friendly. After scrolling I see the service towards blacks is always horrible. Okay, it has been quite a while since I have returned to Five Guys. I don't really like the atmosphere here. It is way too bright, and not very inviting. This time I was in the mood to try a BLT. Sounded really good. It wasn't. It was served on a hamburger bun. The lettuce was ice cold as was a small piece of tomato. There was mayo on it, and then on the bottom bun was what looked like about a 1/4 cup of crumbled bacon. It was just heaped on the bun. The flavor was nothing but grease. It was not appetizing at all. My husband got a double cheeseburger with everything. He liked his burger, but it was much bigger than he remembered it being. That is a good thing. We shared some fries. Their fries are greasy and limp. He really liked them, whereas I did not. Probably because there was so much grease in my BLT, I could not handle the overload of grease with these fries. For me, there was not much flavor in the food. We even tried some of the peanuts they have for you that are in the shell. Even these were not very good, and sort of rancid. I must have been here on an off day. read more

Smash burger sending me coupons for a double burger for $4 is half price compared to Five Guys. Has anyone tried R Burgers, pretty damn good and they serve your burger and fries on a real plate. I normally LOVE Five Guys - my favorite thing are the crispy, but still tender fries you get piled in the bag. Tonight was horrible! The guy handed me the fries and said "if you don't like them, let me know and I can remake them. It was busy" First off, I'm taking it to go, so I don't have the luxury of staying and having you remake it if you fail the first time. Secondly, why would you sell a product that you know is not correct out the gate? The fries were SOAKED in oil!! As if the temperature of the fryer dropped and the fries just drank in the oil. Not crisp and every single one of them was literally inedible. I am SO glad I walked into this five guys!! My friend had locked her keys in her car and I came here hoping that someone had something to help us unlock the car. Alejandro was so kind to check his car for a hanger, which he had, just not a wire one like we needed. He told us that we were not going to leave without getting the car unlocked and he followed through on his word. While my friend and I drove to a dry cleaners and then to Target in search of places that had wire hangers, Alejandro, and that creative mind of his, managed to get my friend's car unlocked!! He even took the keys out so that they weren't left unattended. And at the end of everything, he gave us a couple of burgers and fries because he felt bad. Alejandro's customer service goes above and beyond what I would ever expect from anyone, especially since we weren't even customers! I put in my mobile order at 7:55, I arrived at 8:04. I was told my fries weren't done which is no problem so I sat down to wait. I waited for 20 minutes before asking for an update, in that time 6 customers that had arrived after me had received their food. When I asked they said my fries still weren't done. I asked them about the burgers being that they had been sitting out for 15 minutes at this point. The shift lead told me it didn't matter because the bag was on a warming table. My fries weren't done until about 7 minutes later. When I received my food I politely asked if they could remake the burgers because they had been sitting out for over 20 minutes. The worker said that wouldn't be a problem but the shift lead told me after that they could remake my burgers but it would take 15 minutes and then condescendingly said "and then your fries would be soggy too". I asked her to please remake the burgers and that I didn't mind waiting when the manager came over and argued with me that the burgers would always be done before the fries regardless so it shouldn't be a problem. I didn't want to cause a scene so I just took the old food and left but, I don't think anyone would appreciate paying $45 for food that had been sitting out almost a half an hour when they were waiting 40 minutes to receive their food. We like Five Guys. Their all-the-way includes grilled onions and mushrooms. They have my favorite hot dog anywhere. Sometimes it's toooooo cold in there to enjoy the meal. The staff are a bit quirky but efficient. I'll go back for the dog. read more

I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it was good, but I wish they would melt the cheese into the burger, other then that it tasted good. If they learn to melt the cheese to the burgers I would have given it 5 stars. My wife said her burger was good, a little greasy but good. The fries were great and order a regular size for 2 people. I come here often and my food order is confirmed and completed just like I request it, and the staff is always friendly. This time I had a new cashier, Maria, who was rushed and impatient and did not listen and confused our food order and got it wrong, and it could have been corrected had she read back the order like the cashiers always do. She charged us for an extra coke instead of the fries, and she also got the burger order wrong. She was not apologetic or concerned.
